We had a wonderful stay! Our room was clean and attractive with a nice view. We enjoyed our complimentary breakfast and the great service that came with it. The sand and rock road leading to the hotel off of the main street was pretty rough, but passable, the first few days, but we saw a pile of gravel and it was used to smooth out the road by the time we left. If you want to use the hot tub, let them know ahead of time so that they can get it heated for you. That was really the only issue that we had. it was not in the middle of all the action, but that's the way we like it. It was an easy drive to go to the Tulum Ruins, the beaches at the national park, and cenotes.

- Value for money is very off! The hotel is amortized, they are showing all the time major discounts to attract more clients but even the discounted rate is really over priced; Biggest problem is amortization and no ownership when it comes to cleaning and taking care of the property; - The beach is nothing you can compare with Tulum beach. Not good to walk or swim; - Our room was amortized and there was mould on curtains, bathroom silicons, closet did not work, air-con made such a noise I slept 3 hours- we really tried to shorten the stay and get refund for the nights to come but they did not let us from the hook; we just felt we would like to leave after the first night and did not want to spend there another 4 nights but they did not allow this; - Road to the property is ridiculous, it was actually so bad it was fun - like a true safari made as laugh the first time but after we drove it 10 times it was not fun anymore; - Sun-beds looked so bad that you did not want to use them; On a positive note staff is very friendly and i feel bad they had to deal with our complaints; They also offered us another room as well but by that time we already felt bad;
Avoid This place like the plague ! We booked last minute on Expedia so we had to pre-pay. What a mistake! I can’t believe people rate this crappy place this highly. For starters, you drive 1 mile down a dirt road that is badly damaged. I thought it was going to damage the rental car. We asked for our money back immediately after arriving and touring the property, but they would not give us our money back. The view was decent and the room was decent, but everything else was terrible. The safe was broken. The hot tub was broken. The pool was freezing and dirty. We booked a swim up room on purpose because we love to get in and out of the water but that didn’t happen. The beach was also gross with algae and seaweed. There was also a rock shelf that went out for about 100 yards that made it dangerous to walk out. Other properties in the area had built a dock where you could swim out past the rocks.. This property did not. Most of the outside dining chairs were also broken. The electricity went out on the fourth day, alll day, of our six day stay and so we left on the fifth and they even refused to give us one day credit. The only redeeming factor was the food was very good and so was the service— only of the weight staff. The front desk personnel and management were terrible
Pretty comfortable stay overall. My family and I stood here for 5 nights and it was a great experience. The personal here are well attentive and overall caring. We are Mexican Americans and were surprised by the amount of foreigners staying here, but let me tell you we felt like we were at home . We are VIP guests due to our traveling and they made it feel like we were . Room views are amazing and sunrises are the best. Erik at the front desk was great help and the cooks make some of the best breakfast. Definitely recommend the stay here if you want to feel comfortable in Tulum… thanks
This hotel is absolutely beautiful, relaxing, and has great service. We would easily come here again. The rooms and eating areas are right on the water, the patios and dock are very serene. Fresh and delicious food was consistent at the restaurant. We were surprised that breakfast from the menu was free, including fresh orange juice, coffee variations, appetizers and a main meal. There is a beautiful cenote right across the street where you can swim, kayak, snorkel or learn to scuba. There is a taxi drive into the town of Tulum that costs approx. $500 MEX (approx $30 USD), but was worth it for us as we wanted a peaceful hotel right in the beach without the party scene of the city. There are two sister hotels within walking distance where you get 10% discount when eating at their restaurants. We would highly recommend.
