Tromso Luxury Sailing Yacht Polar Fjord Cruise With Lunch

Had a fabulous cruise today with Sachi and a Kenneth and had the pleasure of meeting two of their relatives who were on board Miya and Mike (sorry if I got the names wrong) . Mike was so informative with lots of information about the surrounding areas. We enjoyed cruising through the Tromso fjords and enjoyed our reindeer stew. Thanks again to Sachi and Kenneth for showing us some Tromso on your amazing sailing boat. Would highly recommend if you would like a more intimate cruise with 12 people or less.

Beautiful boat and experience. The ride was smooth and the soup delicious. The hosts were great and we had an amazing time!

INCREDIBLE! MEMORABLE! Truly, a CORE MEMORY. We had an incredible time. The views of Tromsø from the water are hard to beat. During our tour we saw seals! They provided binoculars as well for better viewing. The food was incredible, the reindeer soup is one you won’t forget. It was warm and cozy inside the boat, you could curl up and take a nap it was so nice. We booked the hot tub as well, totally totally worth it. We even opted to jump in the fjord before using the hot tub! Can’t think of a better polar plunge. A trip I will carry with me for a lifetime.

The boat trip was awesome! You HAVE to book the hot tub, it was one of the best things we experienced in our week in Tromsø.

A relaxing boat trip with beautiful scenery. We went in the hot tub on the deck which was wonderful and we have some great pictures. The reindeer soup was the best one I tried, as it was properly and skilfully home made. Very accommodating hosts. We had a lovely time on this boat.

On the day of the scheduled tour, we attempted multiple times to contact World Sea Explorers without success. We messaged the company, made numerous phone calls, and even enlisted local hotels to help us reach them—yet received absolutely no response. There was no physical office, and even local hotels were unable to direct us to one. We encountered another group of passengers assigned to our tour who were also unable to locate the tour group and had received no communication. This experience leads us to believe that this company is fraudulent. Viator was also unable to facilitate direct contact over the phone with World Sea Explorers, further reinforcing our suspicion that this is a scam. We were never picked up, never taken on the tour, and to make matters worse, we were denied any refund. Avoid this company at all costs, as they appear to be operating dishonestly. Save your money and choose a reputable provider.

The host of the Yacht were excellent, very welcoming and knowledgeable. The Yacht was very clean and warm inside, there were games to play if you didnt want to stand outside, tea/coffee/water/hot chocolate on hand. The food was lovely too. The host arranged the various parties so they had private time in the hot tub, it was well co-ordinated and didnt feel rushed. The trip lasted around 4 hours, with an opportunity to take a polar plunge if you were brave enough - which was perfect. Overall the we all had a fantastic experience and i would recommend this trip

The views were amazing! The crew were really nice and the reindeer soup was absolutely incredible! We loved the whole experience and will remember it for years to come. We also did the optional polar plunge and the hot tub. If you are taking this tour I highly recommend doing it, it’s a great experience to do with friends or family. Overall a fantastic experience and totally worth it!

The boat is beautiful, much bigger than I expected and it was really warm and comfortable. We went in late December, (so not very much daylight), but even so, the views were still beautiful. I paid extra for the hot tub and it was definitely worth it. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting.

Amazing trip. The ship is run by a couple and give personalized attention. They prepared a vegetarian soup for me even though I did not inform them earlier . Was able to do seal viewing with their sound on this trip. Worth a visit

A most wonderful experience with Kenneth and his wife wonderful hosts. The scenery was utterly enchanting and hearing about the history of the added to making it a most enriching adventure.

Excellent fjord tour, even on a rainy day! We sailed the waters around Tromso and saw a herd of frollicking seals. The Stella Oceana is a lovely boat, especially the salon, which is nicely decorated and a warm refuge from the wind and rain. The first mate served a delicious lunch of reindeer soup.

The passion shared in this experience was amazing. We saw dolphins (first thought orcas), seals, and amazing soup. Every detail cared for. Was debating coming back for the night cruise and would have if we had not booked something else. A must do.

Captain Kenneth and Satchi really made this an incredible experience for my friends and family. They provide a safe, exciting and fun first class trip by bring out the best in the environment and the other passengers. The cabin was well appointed. The reindeer soup was delicous. The dip in the Artic waters was unforgettable. Worth every penny and, more importantly, worth the time spent. Thank you 🙏 🙏

The whole trip was just superb. Captain Kennetnand Sochi run a fantastic trip with top notch service and kindness for all. Every consideration is taken into account to make sure all passengers have a wonderful time. The Stella Oceanus is a wonderful ship and very well kept. It a was a pleasure being on board and to be able to enjoy all the beauty of the Norwegian Fjords, the mountains, the views and even the freezing cold Arctic Plunge followed by a hot tub dip…something that shouldn’t be missed! We had the best time on the sailing yacht on a beautiful day in Tromso. Kennet and Sachi are so welcoming and really made the experience amazing for us. We did a polar plunge and Kennet gave us the world’s best pep talk. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the area!

What an amazing journey to see the fjords!! Kenneth and Sachi are beyond amazing and so friendly. I was nervous with sea sickness, but the boat is so large and sturdy, it was just beautiful :) thank you both!

This lovely fjord cruise encourages you to make friends with your fellow sailors and to take the polar plunge before warming up in the hot tub. I couldn’t bring myself to jump overboard, but others managed to take in the full cold-to-hot experience! A very pleasant trip with congenial crew and fellow passengers.

The inside of the yacht is very comfortable, clean, warm and homely. It would have been a much better experience only if the weather was on our side during the tour, so we could have ventured more and enjoy the scenery. Perhaps a little bit of Tromso story i.e. culture, traditions etc. to add into the tour will enhance our experience.  The host were very friendly and accommodating. It was fun exploring every corner of the yacht and we definitely had a good craic.

We were warmly welcomed by the captain. The crew was ready at all times and very helpful. He is a good guide with a listening ear. The trip was fantastic and using the hot tub in the cold was indescribably wonderful. Hot drinks were available in unlimited quantities. The reindeer stew was really delicious. All in all highly recommended.

Oh wow. What a day out. We met the nicest of people and had so much fun. But Kennet and Satchi (not sure of my spelling) were such wondeful crew. So kind and interested in us and helpful. The food was delicious. The highlight was jumping off the side into the sea then doing the hot tub after!

Luxurious boat, breathtaking views of the Arctic, a delicious lunch, and the best people we could have hoped to meet! Captain Kenneth and First Mate/Cook Sachi were fantastic. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, safe, and relaxed throughout the journey. The highlights were the reindeer soup, superbly executed with the freshest local ingredients; the integrations with everyone onboard, with fun and friendly conversations; and the polar plunge, which sounded outlandish at first, but turned out to be a fantastic and unforgettable memory. Undisputedly, this was the best experience we had in Tromsø!

This was a fabulous sailing experience, in safe hands. We were two friends among a small group of 10 people, and it felt really comfortable chatting below deck with those strangers - as we all had one thing in common - to have a good day out seeing the stunning scenery. The boat was indeed luxurious and the reindeer stew that was served for lunch was refined and delicious. The tour was about five hours and it went quickly - looking out over crystal clear icy waters and snowy mountains. It was very cold on deck but with the correct clothing this was not an issue. We have some beautiful footage to look back on. Wonderful!

Fabulous trip on the fjord. Amazing and knowledgeable trip. The yacht is outstanding and lucky those able to charter it. The reindeer stew was the best I had in Tromso. I would only make one suggested change, though I realise with the outstanding superior highly-polished teak flooring, this might not be an option. You descend to the beautiful lounge and are and naturally asked to remove your footwear. Would it be possible to wear the socks that have the grips, and may not damage the polish - it might just be me, and this is not a criticism of the tour. I would highly recommend and will definitely do it again. Thanks for a fabulous trip and to Sachi for your insights as we sailed. I’d you are heading to Tromso, the S/Y Stella Oceana should be on the wish list.

Absolutely fantastic. Well worth it. Kenneth our captain, is so passionate about what he does. He makes sure we leave with beautiful memories, and new friendships. He has years of experience on the sea so we felt very safe aboard. The lunch was like something you would get at a fine restaurant. It was delicious. I highly recommend this trip.

A good trip over Tromso Fjord. The boat is very nice and the captain a great person. we also did the fjord tour by bus, and this is definitely different. would it be difficult to decide which one between the two. consider that, on the boat, to see the surroundings you have to go out and it is COLD and WINDY, so dress appropriately. The lunch was excellent

Kennet and Sachi's boat tour service in Tromsø, Norway was truly exceptional. They demonstrated great care for our comfort and safety, ensuring that we felt secure throughout the tour. What stood out the most was their cheerful and warm demeanor. Their enthusiasm and passion for sharing Tromsø's beauty and history were infectious, adding a personal touch to the experience. As a memorable bonus, when I hopped into the hot tub and found my hair freezing in the cold, Kennet kindly offered me a brand new toboggan free of charge, going above and beyond to ensure our warmth and enjoyment. This level of service and hospitality truly sets their tour apart. It's an absolute must-do for anyone seeking an unforgettable Arctic adventure in Tromsø.

We are a group of 5 and among all activities these days, this is the consensus (unanimous vote of us 5) best activity of our stay in Tromsø. The captain is extremely friendly, and the ship is really spacious. Absolutely recommend. I also want to specifically address a “one star” rating and review provided by someone else, that the captain cancelled the trip 2 hours before the starting time and resulting in a “free day without activities” of those people who initially booked this trip. I want to say actually that “one star review” is one of the reasons we booked this tour. Because only very responsible tour guide would cancel tour due to unforseable reasons such as bad weather etc and offer a refund. He can simply brought them out in bad weather and tour you around irresponsibly and earn the money, but he won’t do that.

That was a great little trip :) if you looking for something with no crowds and with quality this is a perfect cruise ! We spend most of the time on the deck even was cold , views are amazing and both Captain and Sachi were very kind and helpful answering all the questions and giving helpful tips for rest of our stay in Tromso. Lunch served was very tasty and diet criteria for me was met so many thanks for this :) we managed to see wildlife and we really enjoyed time on the yacht Kat & Andy

2 hours before leaving they cancelled. We had no tour and this is why we came to tromso. So bad Terrible We are not happy with this.

An amazing experience. Loved ever minute. Captain and crew were really friendly and chatty, couldn't do enough for you. Scenery was spectacular. Polar plunge in the sea was a bracing experience but the hot tub soon warmed you up again. Definitely worth the upgrade. Food was very tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Looked forward to this and it did not disappoint! Fantastic guide and captain who made sure we were informed, comfortable and fed! The views were spectacular and Sachi answered all questions we had about the area and the cruise. Captain Kenneth was engaged and very capable making sure we were safe. We will be back - perhaps in the summer to cruise around Lofoten with Stella Oceana.

We came as a family of five on the sailing yacht and had a wonderful day! First of all, the boat is beautiful and exquisitely maintained. There is a spacious indoor area where you can relax and warm up, and lots of space and seating on the decks to take in the scenery. The lunch was a delicious reindeer soup (made vegetarian for those in our group who don’t eat meat) and there was tea, coffee, and cookies available all day. Kenneth and Satchi were welcoming and warm hosts and helped point out the sights, including seals in the water! We are so happy we went on this tour and thought it was a great introduction to Tromso and the surrounding areas.

We had an incredible cruise around Tromso. Beautiful vistas, and arctic wildlife. Sochi and Kenneth were wonderful hosts. Can’t wait to do another cruise with them - maybe Lofoten next

We would highly recommend the Polar Fjord Cruise. We saw reindeer, eagles a seal and learnt all about the area from out wonderful hosts Kenneth and Sachi. The yacht is absolutely beautiful with a cosy warm interior where you can chat with other guests over a cup of tea. We had reindeer soup for lunch which was delicious. Thank you Kenneth and Sachi for a fantastic day on the water.

A wonderful excursion on board this beautiful yacht, with attentive and knowledgeable hosts Kennet and Sachi. We were blessed with beautiful weather and enjoyed the spectacular scenery in the sunshine. Kennet and Sachi were brilliant at making sure we were warm, well fed (delicious lunch of reindeer soup!) and entertained with local knowledge. We were two of four guests - the others were braver than we were and did the hot tub/sea dip experience. Hats off to you two (and then straight back on again!). Thanks all for a memorable trip.

My niece and I just got off the yacht and I had to make sure to immediately review. Kenneth and Sachi were amazing, as was the scenery and the entire “wow” experience. A lovely small group. One member of our tour jumped in for a swim and then got right into the hot tub! We couldn’t have asked for more!

This was a very cool experience, complete with a cozy boat and friendly captain and first mate. We went during the winter so we could not go into the fjords, but we were able to see Tromso from a unique perspective on the water. The reindeer stew was delicious. The inside of the boat was kept warm if anyone needed a break from the cold. Would recommend!

Would have been 6⭐️ if they allowed that this was such a brilliant experience We sailed with friends and found hospitality and professionalism of Captain Kenneth and First mate Sachi unbelievably good. I would thoroughly recommend the hot tub on the main deck and if you are prepared for it a chance to jump into the icy fiord under the supervision of the captain at all times it was truly magical and invigorating You can probably tell we loved this trip and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique way to see this wonderful scenery and people You will feel like royalty and will also eat like a king Kevin B

We had a super trip on this wonderful ship yesterday. We were greeted by Kenneth and Sachi - the owners and crew. We were served the most delicious vegetable soup (there was also a reindeer soup option) Nothing was too much trouble. They made the trip most enjoyable, giving us lots of interesting information along the way accompanied by the beautiful scenery. It really was a day to remember! Thank you Kenneth & Sachi

We had the best day on this wonderful little ship. The captain and his first mate were extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the boat was extremely comfortable and in tip-top condition. It felt like we were personal guests rather than part of a commercial operation. This is a day that I fully recommend and without doubt you will have a brilliant experience.
