Glad we booked it and saw a lot more of the countryside. I found it too hurried having a short 10 minute stop. The sandwiches were very good. Good length of time and overall good value for money.

Great day - stunning scenery & our guide Elsa was exceptional! Highly recommended
Had a great day! Our guide Vivian was so nice and shared many details about the different spots but also about how locals experience the places we visited. Loved every moment.
Amazing guide, funny and knowledgeable. Trip was interesting because of the background stories and beautiful views. Even the light lunch was nice. Would definitely recommend.
Driving around the Fjords was breathtaking scenery, our guide Elsa has done a good job and explained the culture and places we visited. I highly recommend this tour to see the beauty outside the city centre.
First I was expecting some kind of animal rescue or sanctuary but there wasn’t any stops for specific nature sites. Lunch was at a shack with a bag of soup with a wooden soup. No dessert or any bread and an out house for our facilities which asked for toilet tissue to be put into s waste basket. Needless to say, not a pleasant odor. Yes the Fiords were beautiful but I was disappointed in the rest especially since we paid more than $200 for this excursion. Definitely didn’t fit Viator standards.
Amazing tour with beautiful landscapes of tromso norway. It was an unbelievable experience. Loved every minute of it. 5 stars 🌟
This tour was filled with reindeer, general information about Norway, the Sami people and the area. The fjord was spectacular but the coastal islands and beach were even better. Some of us put our feet in the Arctic waters. Chilly but manageable. Annie was an excellent tour guide. Thank you for a lovely time. Jillian
Our guide was Kirsten who was excellent. She was full of interesting information and very passionate about the wildlife and caring for the landscape and wilderness. It was a pleasure to have met her and we would unhesitationally recommend this trip.
I would definitely recommend Hello Tromsø! Our tour guides Bella and Kirsten were great. We saw beautiful scenery from the bus and stop at key locations for pictures. Kirsten took photos of everyone and the company sent us a link. We took s as beautiful walk on the summer islands. The scenery was stunning. It was a bit cold and rainy so we stopped for lunch in a cozy cabin.
Knowledgeable, local guides. They took us to very scenic places. We got to walk around some so not sitting all the time. The best place was a property owned by a friend of the owner of Hello Tromso, so no other company would have gotten us there. Very enjoyable. If possible, book directly through Hello Tromso to save the 30% charge from the big companies like Viator.
Great Tour, Super-Guide , comfortable bus
Beautiful fjords, nice sandwich lunch, with hot drinks Our guide was energetic and takes good pictures. He is also a good driver. The van is in good condition .
We had an amazing day touring the beautiful towns and fiords beyond Tromso with Andreas! He is an excellent guide, as he combines his knowledge of the area with a friendly demeanor - all which make for a truly fun day. He clearly loves where he was born & raised, and does a great job of sharing his enthusiasm with you. He shows you spots others don't have access to, and really wants you to enjoy yourself. We now want to return just to do another tour with him in the winter. He's that good.
Excellent full day out exploring outside Tromso with a very helpful and informative guide, Andreas. Picnic lunch included. Good way to spend a day if you have limited time in Tromso and want to see some of the countryside and wildlife.
The tour was a good mix of being on the tour van and stopping to get out and discover the different sites. Our tour guide was excellent on explaining the area and helpful in getting us to specific spots to take gorgeous photos. Our lunch break at a beach was good and a great stop to have lunch. If you’re on a cruise, this tour will cover more, small group size and great value. Highly recommend.
A bright sunny day coupled with a detailed and well researched narrative by Anastasia coupled with a comfortable drive by Bella made for a memorable day.
Be aware of your pick up location as they have two listed. The beginning of the tour was unorganized, but after an hour, it went very smooth. The trip was exactly as stated.
Anastasia and Morton were fantastic guides! Anastasia was so knowledgeable and provided great background information and stories for all of the sights. Morton was an excellent driver. This is an excellent way to spend the day seeing the incredible beauty outside of Tromso. Highly recommend!
Great tour. We saw so many wonderful places and took a couple of short hikes. Had a picnic lunch at a really lovely place where we were able to stretch our legs. Our guide was wonderful!
Fun experience, lots to see. The fjords were spectacular. We had a nice sunny day to see the incredible scenery.
Great day touring the fiords , islands, and mountains, around Tromso. Kirsten was a treasure of information and made sure we were all comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Lunch at the beach was a treat!
Great tour, Kirsten a perfect guide, kind, friebdly and informative. Also thanks to the driver, very safe driver. We lade a lot of nice stops, scenery is breathtaking. Kirsten took a lot if pictures. A very well spent day.
A great excursion to explore the area around Tromso. Making multiple stops, getting information about the local culture, climate and sights. Enough photo opportunities for those with a landscape interest. We also saw plenty of reindeer, a harbour porpoise, and a couple of sea eagles. Sandwiches and hot chocolate on a (Caribbean-like) beach for lunch. Before turning back toward the city and one last stop.
We were very fortunate to have been able to book this tour last minute as our original tour operator cancelled their tour the evening before we were supposed to travel! Our tour guide, Kirstin, was great! She shared a lot of information about the places we drove through and even played some of the local music for us to further our appreciation of the area. We stopped at some beautiful spots and had plenty of time to explore and take photos. Kirstin also took pictures, which she shared with us a couple of days later - a nice way to get some family photos! They provided delicious sandwiches for lunch along with some hot chocolate and cookies. We must also mention that the driver, Yuri, did an amazing job finding a parking spot for the bus so that we could stop and admire the snowy valley on the way back to town - all of the parking areas were full as it was a good day for back country skiing so we felt very lucky that Yuri was able to find a place for us to stop.
It was a bad weather day for us, which had slight rain, and was very windy and cold. We could not see any wildlife. However, we really enjoyed the breathtaking view of the lakes and seashore from the trip. The wood cabin with strange toilets by the beach was a brand new experience, that we would need to tell our friends. Abdi was a very good guide, he really loved taking pictures. He took a lot of great photos for us. He lead us to nice spots without many people. We had so many photo oppoturnities thanks to him, which was exactly what my wife expected.
Very nice tour to see the country and a nice lunch. We were lucky to meet up with some dog sleds and pet some of the dogs. Otherwise there really wasn’t any other wildlife.
Great experience with a knowledgeable guide. Even in moments of rest she played local music. Very well organized and entertaining.
The tour was wonderful. The bus was very comfortable. The tour guide Kirstin with helloTromsø was so knowledgeable about everything. She was so kind, gentle and genuinely helpful. I have been travelling for 40 years and never experienced better customer service.
The scenery on this tour was breathtakingly beautiful, but the tour was very rushed. We did not feel we had enough time at each location before being hurried to the next. I think a few stops could have been skipped. We didn't see any wildlife, and it seems the chances of seeing wildlife on this tour would be very slim anyhow. Our guide was a little hard to understand, but friendly, and a wonderful photographer! He captured beautiful pics of our group. Also, lunch was an experience - pretty cramped room with other tours. Despite this, the tour was worth it for the stunning scenery.
The fjord tour was a great experience and definitely worth trying. Our guide, Abdi, was very professional and friendly throughout the trip. The places we visited were all beautiful and interesting, and the photos taken during the tour turned out really great. The lunch was also surprisingly good. Overall, it was a well-organized trip and I would definitely recommend it
The minibus tour was very scenic and the guide was pleasant. We didn’t see much wildlife which can happen. Since it’s advertised as a wildlife tour I expected a bit more information on potential wildlife and the habitats. The driver told us when we were entering an area that reindeer frequent. Since we did not see any reindeer, it would have been nice to have some information about reindeer migration, habitat and the Sami ownership. Our driver said the bus P/A system was broken and that he had to concentrate on driving; there wasn’t a lot of information while driving. I would have liked information about the birds we might see during this season. It would have been helpful to have extra drinking waters available. The lunch spot was beautiful, I would call the lunch light snacks. We enjoyed ourselves for the cost, but a title of scenic drive with snacks/lite lunch might be a more appropriate title.
Andie and our driver were very knowledgable and helpful. We saw so much and had great experiences. Good value
We had a lovely day, didn’t see any wildlife, but scenery was fab. Our guide Abdi was so helpful and took lots of photos which were then loaded up and emailed. We stopped for lunch at small huts by a frozen fjord , toilets were simple but clean. Lots of hot drinks 🍷 n offer and we had smoked salmon baguettes and cookies. It was a really nice day out. I would recommend it.
The pick up was very disorganized and confusing. Despite the name indicating the excursion would be an adventure there was no adventure. Basically, it was a five hour bus ride. The microphone in the bus was not working. Regardless, the driver was impossible to understand. He also was unable to answer basic questions like what kind of fish could be found when ice fishing. At the beginning of the trip, the driver told us that he wouldn't be able to talk much because he would be concentrating on his driving. There was much more, too much to express here. The driver did accommodate us by taking us back to our ship, which was very nice of him. Regardless, we would like a refund or some kind of monetary compensation, okay, next, give you a re
Excellent tour, Issac was a fantastic guide, very friendly and knowledgable. I weight up a lot options when choosing a Fjord tour and I’m happy to say this felt like the perfect choice. It is not the most expensive, but we spent plenty of time exploring lots of lots of view point and short walks around each area - nothing felt rushed and the lunch was a lot delicious. Didn’t see much wildlife, but I’m not sure a different tour would have done any better at this. Thankyou!

We really enjoyed the fjords tour. Our guide, Nikolai, gave a lot of information and was always willing to take a lot of pictures at the unique sceneries we visited. Overall a great way to explore the Norwegian nature.
We did a number of winter excursions in Norway and this one was the best. The guide was knowledgeable and the scenry was beautiful. There was a bathroom break half way through the tour. We took the mini bus rather than the large one. That is the right choice. In the van we were able to stop where the bus was too big to do so. We left the van several times to do short walks. I would encourage you to wear boots and have a walking stick. It can be slippery and I saw those in tennis shoes struggling at times.
We enjoyed the fjords tour! The scenery was beautiful and it was fun to do the hikes that they took us to. Lunch consisted of a deli sandwich and water or hot chocolate. Overall, we had a great time and captured beautiful memories and photos.
I am a fair minded and pragmatic / practical person. I understand that wildlife will not just jump out at us for our viewing pleasure . However, I do expect there to be some mention of the wildlife that might be around us or the area, even if we don’t get the opportunity to see it on the day. Nothing about wildlife whatsoever . Our guide explained about history of the area, the geography and some geology. Not o e mention of wildlife except - I quote “ oh , they look like ducks over there - yes, they are ducks” He is a genuinely nice guy and enthusiastic. We did see a distant seal.; although the guide didn’t mention it . I politely asked the guide if he was going to talk about the wildlife, to which he replied that he didn’t know anything about that and perhaps ought to. So no he wasn’t going to . Another in our party, a keen photographer, noted that the guide couldn’t offer advice on photography in this area, and indeed didn’t really know how to use his own camera very proficiently - another disappointment. The local lunch btw was a baguette that was loaded into the bus in tromso, tasted ok, but was hardly a local lunch. the driver . At the start of the tour he let us all know that he was very experienced in driving in the local weather. He was indeed excellent. We had a pretty serious blizzard travelling back through which he was very capable. The last hour or so of the tour was quiet , as the guide was nodding off if not fully asleep for the duration. I did ask for a partial refund , which got refused funnily enough. Apparently all of the above is beyond anyone’s control. Hey ho. We went on a boat tour in the days after and saw eagles .
it was a decent tour, the problems were firstly with viator, who gave the wrong address. only by finding the actual tour company’s website were we able to phone the company and just made it on time. the tour was over sold, so there was one tour guide split between a coach and a mini bus. the weather was bad, so a good guide was essential. but we had fun regardless and had it not been oversold, it would have been great. one thing to note, most tours are the same, despite what they are called, so make sure there is a fundamental difference if you go on more than one tour, as they are expensive. and if you can, book direct, viator is more expensive and no help if there is a problem.
While the trip itself was fun, their customer service afterwards is lacking. They were to email us a password in order to download photos. I've emailed them twice asking about it but have gotten no response.
Great drive outside of Tromsø to the fjords. Very comfortable coach with fabulous views. We had four stops in very scenic locations, with the chance to look at the scenery and take pictures. I don't have a great level of fitness so this tour was perfect for me - lots to see with only a little walking! It might be frustrating if you wanted to do a long walk.
Amazing Fjordtour, breathtaking views, nice group and Andreas was a fantastic tour guide who was friendly, humorous and knowledgeable - plus, a good driver and took great photos from each of us.
A great half day on the Kvaløya island west of Tromso. The guide Isabella was fantastic. She told us lots of interesting facts about the area. We stopped at quite a few beaches along the fjords and took great photos. Isabella also took a lot for us. We ended with a sunset on a fjord and a very nice smoked salmon sandwich. A great experience !
Really well organised trip and beautiful spots. The stops were quite short but we were still able to do everything we wanted in time. The guide Isabel was really nice, knowledgeable and helpful with the pictures. This trip allows you to see the beautiful fjord scenery around Tromsø.
Wonderful tour covering a lot of the beautiful scenery of the island west of Tromo. Great sandwich in a wonderful location served for lunch. Wonderful guide. Very helpful, who took lots of pics of the guests. Great tour
Our driver, guide and photographer was GREAT we loved the experience , the view and the lunch, highly recommended!
Sadly this wasn't a wildlife tour. We got to see a reindeer and a few ducks all from quite a distance away. Whilst the scenery was lovely I felt it was a bit missleading in the title and should be advertised as a scenic tour not wildlife. And lunch is a sandwich, waffle and a hot chocolate. We all come away from this trip quite deflated.
