This was a great night. We drove for a couple of hours with Paolo checking in with weather updates to find the best places. Stopped for hot drink and biscuit then a bit later had a camp fire and yummy hot soup. No sign of the lights. Then he got a message to try another place. Drove there and wow. Was it worth it. They were spectacular. Thanks Paolo. We had a great time chasing the lights. Highly recommend this.

Our friend recommended Arctic Wild Tours after taking a tour with them last year. We traveled all the way from the United States to Tromsø to make our dream come true! We drove quite a distance, but it was absolutely worth it because we experienced one of the strongest Aurora displays we've ever seen. A magical night that we'll never forget.

It was pouring rain in Tromso and we figured we’d just have to abandon hope of seeing the aurora. Nope! Lorenzo assured us there was a clearing near Finland — and he was right! We made two stops and saw a fantastic show at both. Everything was handled with utter professionalism.

We had a great experience. Our guide Vera was super informed. The weather was not good but she did everything in her power to get us to experience the northern lights. We went almost to Finland to find the right place and she found it. We were the only ones there. The small group of 8 people helped to be flexible and make everyone happy. The aurora exploded above us and for the right amount of time. Vera took amazing pictures right before starting a fire and spending some time getting warm before returning. Amazing experience.

The night was absolutely perfect. Alex, our driver and tour guide, along with the sweetest first-time guide (I’m so sorry I can’t remember his name), were truly outstanding, very kind, caring and funny. The Northern Lights were incredibly active and certainly did not disappoint. The professional photographs were stunning, Alex captured absolute perfection. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable, and it was a pleasure to see and hear Alex patiently explaining the aurora borealis to the new guide and sharing tips on how best to find the lights. As an added bonus, we teamed up with another guide who was wonderfully knowledgeable about the stars, and we enjoyed biscuits by a much-welcomed fire. The entire evening was fascinating, just stunning, and I would wholeheartedly recommend booking a tour with them.

Dress very warm and layer--it can get very cold out there. Be patient, you may have to wait awhile before seeing much, but the landscape and night sky are beautiful even without the aurora.

Really unforgettable experience! The guys on the team were exceptional: helpful, prepared and always careful to make the trip special. During the tour they provided us with lots of useful information to better understand the wonderful phenomenon of the Northern Lights and even helped us set up cameras and mobile phones to better capture every moment. The night, unfortunately, there was a snow tempest, but finally, although timidly, we were lucky enough to see it and the emotion was unique. Meanwhile, the group pampered us with hot chocolates, tea and biscuits, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. Transport was very comfortable and clean, making every move comfortable. I joined the Northern Lights tour with Arctic Wild Tours, and it was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, everything felt warm and personal — the guide really cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. We drove to a quiet spot away from the city, where the sky was clear, and soon the aurora started to appear. It was magical watching the lights dance while sitting by the fire and enjoying hot soup. The Northern Lights tour in Tromsø was an exceptional experience - the local guide knew exactly where to go to find clear skies and the best viewing spots. Amazing trip! We saw the Aurora Borealis dancing in the night sky. The guides were exceptionally well-prepared and provided detailed explanations about how the northern lights occur. To top it off, we enjoyed a lovely dinner. Highly recommended!

Exquisite. The chase wasn’t long, the guides were always on the lookout hence great results. An experience to remember. The best company ever.

The good: The staff were very nice and knowledgeable. The bus driver is extremely experienced and navigates the snowy roads easily. The bad: We did not get to see the Northern Lights due to weather, so we paid a lot of money to sit on a bus for 7 hours. This was entirely too long and not much fun. While bad weather is not the fault of the tour company at all, there were things that could have been done to make it a better experience. Would recommend not booking these tours unless you are fairly certain about the weather.

Despite of many other operators canceling the tour due to bad weather, our tour operators took us far away to atleast have a glimpse of what Northern Lights look like . Though it was too cold but finally we could see them with hot chocolate in that cold night was soothing and cherry on top were the cookies. Aurora was not so magical for us:(

On the night with this particular tour provider, we stopped at three locations and did see the northern lights, which was amazing. However, I would not recommend booking this provider due to the group size and the level of service. I suggest choosing a smaller group tour to maximize your chances of seeing the northern lights and taking good photos. Many tours charge a similar price but offer better group sizes and services. Here are some reasons why I wouldn’t recommend this provider: 1. Large bus limitations A big bus can only stop in designated areas with sufficient parking. This means that even if northern lights are visible, you may not be able to stop at the best spots. Even if the bus does stop, it’s usually temporary, making it difficult to take proper photos. 2. Long wait times for photos With a big group, the wait to take photos can be long. There’s a chance that, although you see the northern lights initially, by the time it’s your turn to take a photo, the lights may have faded or disappeared. Additionally, this provider charges extra to purchase the photos they take. 3. Lack of detailed explanations The other two tours I joined provided detailed explanations on how they analyzed northern lights activity using live data, which made the experience feel more promising. In contrast, this provider only mentioned that they checked reports from their previous groups. Although we did see the northern lights, most of the other guests in the group were Italian, so the tour guide often forgot that not everyone understood Italian and gave explanations only in Italian. Another disappointing detail was that, after several hours into the trip, both tour guides still asked me if I was part of their group. As a solo traveler and the only Asian person on the tour, I assumed I would have been easier to remember. While it’s understandable that it’s harder to keep track in a large group, it raises concerns about whether they would notice if someone were missing. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this tour provider.

The perfect way to experience the Northern Lights! Everything from the bus transport, the camp site with the fire going, snacks, soup and hot chocolate/tea/coffee gave the perfect foundation for the trip. Knowledgable guide, friendly and accommodating bus driver and host at the camp. Actually seeing the Northern Lights can't be guarantied, but we were lucky. The display was awesome and gave us memories for life. The tour is highly recommended!

It was our first time in Norway, with the big goal of seeing the aurora … and this tour didn’t disappoint. Lorenzo was our guide and he was epic! He took us to more secluded areas with no light pollution or a lot of people. We felt like locals getting to experience one of natures finest phenomenons. Lorenzo was also extremely accommodating, prepared, and knowledgeable. He took the time to take professional level photos of us with the aurora in the background, made a fire on a beach for us with hot coco, and told us why we get the aurora and how it works on a scientific level. It is evident that Lorenzo doesn’t see this as a job but as a passion. His love for sharing nature with us shined through in every detail. Overall, fantastic experience and would go again.

Lorenzo took us to a wonderful spot not too far from Tromsø where we could enjoy the view of the northern lights. His skills at finding a "hole in the clouds" and great locations for pictures or just enjoying the view are amazing!

Last night the most beautiful and lucky experience ever! We did the Northern Lights tour with Lorenzo Ragazzi’s team, in Italian, our guide was Michele. It was spectacular. It is true that it is a natural phenomenon and therefore unpredictable and that it goes to luck but it is also true that relying on professionals who know exactly where to take you so that the best conditions are there so that the phenomenon, if it is time, is visible. It was four uninterrupted hours of dawn and Michele was lavish with information and always ready to answer our questions. Thank you!!!!!!

I took part in the Aurora Hunt with Lorenzo and his magnificent Staff.... he took us all the way to Finland to give the group the chance to see it. Lorenzo is a guarantee! Wonderful! We did the tour witha guide Michele. A boy of great professionalism, competence and kindness. Michele explained to us, during the journey in a minibus "hunting" for the dawn, all the peculiarities of this phenomenon of the sky so sublime. Once we arrived in the place where we could spot the aurora we experienced an atmosphere of Beauty in unspoilt nature. Michele lit the fire, we ate our meals, drank the hot drinks and after waiting the dawn appeared in the sky, for a very long time. Wonderful experience. Excellent staff. I chose this tour on the advice of an Italian blogger who lives in Tromso and it is the best thing I could do. Also that night I also made my marriage proposal and they helped me by advising me on the best time and taking beautiful photos. Our guide Gaia was the number 1: kind, professional and experienced took us to a wonderful beach and when the aurora lit up as well as being framed in a wonderful landscape it was also reflected in the water. We chose this agency for the countless positive reviews and I must say that it has even exceeded expectations. We did the tour with Gaia who is a girl full of energy and makes you experience the tour from the first moment until the end. He told us many curiosities and peculiarities of both Norway and the Aurora. She took us to beautiful places and was ready to change places when too many people started arriving. The biscuits we were given were delicious as well as the drinks that warmed us from the cold. We were lucky enough to see a wonderful aurora but the experience was even better thanks to this agency and its employees. We will never forget her❤️

Despite the overcast sky, our guide Vera took us to a very suggestive area on a fjord where we lit a small bonfire and shortly after the dawn made room in the clouds! We thank Vera, a passionate, prepared and really smart girl! Thanks also to Lorenzo Ragazzi for the availability!

You could already see the aurora from the city, super lucky, but I would have expected to go to a much farther and dimly lit place to have a more suggestive scenery. Instead we only took 20 minutes by bus to go not far from Tromso. And icing on the cake I would have expected at least one free photograph, instead all for a fee. And then the cookies were not “freshly baked” as described Guide and driver friendly and helpful but misleading advertising for both food and photos.

We were lucky enough to see a beautiful aurora in an equally beautiful landscape, thanks to an experienced and competent guide. Would highly recommend

Top experience. Lorenzo, Michele and everyone else are really great. They are a young group who like the work they do and you see that in every detail. The care with which they think of their customers is not for everyone and is not obvious. They know what they are doing and are able to choose unusual locations to take you to live the experience of the aurora to the fullest. The small group is also a plus not insignificant. We had booked a first excursion but as much as we enjoyed it we wanted to repeat a second evening and we could not make a better choice! On both occasions we really noticed how fantastic they were! If you want a perfect experience choose them, no ifs or buts.

Great experience! Our trained and professional Michele guide! It took us to fantastic places to wait for the dawn and we saw the northern lights dancing in the sky several times! Going with a guide is essential because Michele following the data available and keeping the sky under control while driving realized that something crazy was about to explode in the sky and made us get off the van, we alone would not have realized it! The experience with Arctic wild tours was wonderful. Michele, who accompanied us in this experience in a minibus for 7 people, was, as well as professional and prepared, also a pleasant company, as a nice and empathetic guy he is. He chose a spot that immediately turned out to be perfect for sighting the aurora and beautiful scenically, for the photos and for the bonfire around which we ate soup, drank hot chocolate and chatted with each other. I will return to this magical place very soon and will certainly book another tour with them.

The tour with Michele was great even if the sun, unfortunately, even with EXCELLENT weather conditions did not want to give a show and the dawn was short and weak. Michele did his best to keep morale up by giving explanations of the phenomenon and how to set up the camera to take pictures Unfortunately it is a natural phenomenon but we still managed to see a slight aurora thanks to the attention of the guide. We went hunting for aurora with Lorenzo’s agency, we chose the minibus tour and we were accompanied by Gaya! What about it? The day we chose was bad, snow and clouds everywhere, but thanks to the commitment of Gaya and Mathieu we managed to see the queen of heaven! Gaya did not give up even when everything seemed lost and after a stop with clear skies and a weak aurora, we left finding a location of 10 and praise and a wonderful aurora! Thank you for fulfilling my wish, thank you Lorenzo, thank you Gaya and thank you Mathieu!

Nice experience, we had two good guides. It was snowing, but at the end of the evening the sky opened a little and we could see the green lady!

We took the tour by minivan (8 people) to have more intimacy with the guide and be able to have more chances to reach strategic points for sighting the aurora. We got as far as Finnish Lapland but the weather was not our ally. Fortunately, on the way back, half an hour from Tromsø, our guide (Andrea) was able to see a glow and we were able to see it. Unfortunately it was late and we didn't have much time to enjoy it. Thanks to the guide who gave us this joy, given the time and that we were all asleep, he could have looked the other way and walked away straight and instead...

We were a small group of 5 people, which was really super pleasant. Very relaxed, good mood and a guide who absolutely picked us up with his enthusiasm. I really appreciated the help with setting my camera. I am very happy about the photos. Our camp we had in the middle of nature, surrounded by mountains and near a lake. A dream. And then we were totally lucky with the Aurora. Clearly visible, we could watch it move across the sky. This evening will resonate with me for a long time
