Great tour. Despite the weather, our guide knew all the perfect spots to see the lights, ans it turned to be awesone. Highly recommended.

A total blast! They made us feel like royalty and were paitent to describe our entire journey. They took us to a remote location where we could photograph to our heart's content, all the while providing professional input and advice on capturing the Northern Lights in the best way possible.

Reidar is probably the best tour guide you could ask for. He is incredibly knowledgable about the local area, super friendly and always has your experience as his number 1 priority. He took us through various locations, well away from the city lights. Whilst there will always be a bit of luck involved with trying to see the Aurora having the right tour guide know the places for the best chances to see them makes all the difference. Along the way he provided us with a warm drink and a meal whilst we was standing around a bonfire waiting for further activity. If you decide to book a tour for the lights this is the person to book.

It was my dream to see the northern lights in Norway and I was very lucky to have the chance to join Reidar’s group. He knew the best location to watch the lights along with cranberry tea+bonfire and share with us his experiences.

We are from Mexico and were incredibly excited to see the Northern Lights. Reidar was amazing he explained everything about the auroras in great detail, showing deep knowledge and passion. He took us to several locations to increase our chances of seeing them, and thanks to his expertise, we were able to witness the most breathtaking views. This tour was one of the best experiences of my whole life. It was originally scheduled for the following day, but they rescheduled it to a time with better conditions, for which I am very grateful. The view was breathtaking! The guide, Reidar, was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. probably the best tour guide I’ve ever had. He spoke perfect English, answered all our questions, drove us back to our accommodation and took wonderful pictures! Will never forget this day, would wholeheartedly recommend!

Reidar was a wonderful guide, who gave us the best experience of seeing the northern lights we could have hoped for! While we had originally booked the tour for Saturday evening, Reidar texted us the day before to let us know the skies would be much clearer that evening, and even picked us up from the airport with less than an hour’s notice. His diligence and flexibility allowed us to see a very special lights show, with incredible green and pink hues visible to the naked eye. While colours will always be more vivid in photographs, there is nothing quite like seeing the lights dance around the sky in real life! Even if you’re not lucky enough to see the lights clearly, Reidar is an incredibly knowledgeable guide, and the small group experience is definitely worth it. We learned lots about Norway and its history around the bonfire, while eating traditional hiking food (reindeer!) and drinking hot cranberry juice. Thank you, Reidar!

Reidar was a great host and guide! Cloudy and rainy all day, our 7-person group clung to hope and set out from Tromsø to chase the lights! Reidar found open sky and a secluded area away from other tour groups, lit a fire and set out food and drinks, and took professional grade photos he sent to us for FREE! AMAZING! We had the most incredible time! Reidar was the most wonderful guide, we can not say enough positive things about him! He was very upfront and honest with us about the weather conditions from the beginning, and luckily the weather cleared by the time our tour was about to begin. We drove for a couple hours in search of the perfect area with a clear gap in the sky. Reidar had a perfect location, private with just our group. We had a BREATHAKING light show— will never forget it as long as we live! Reidar provided a warm fire, great food, and yummy hot drinks and desserts. I would recommend Reidar’s tour to absolutely anyone!! You can tell he really loves what he does and it is his mission to give everyone the best possible experience! Reidar is the best guide you can imagine. We drove almost 2 hours but he found the nordic lights for us. Set up a bonfire and served good food and hot tea. It was a fantastic tour. Thank you Reidar.

We dreamed of seeing the Northern Lights during our visit to Tromso, this was clearly our main objective. Thanks to Reidar this dream came true on 4/1/2024. he took great care of us throughout our hunt because the night was cold and was full of attention for our 10 year old boy. We saw stunning Northern Lights throughout the evening. Reidar made us a bonfire and provided us with hot drinks and hot sandwiches. The experience was fabulous and we had the feeling of sharing a unique moment that will remain engraved in our memories in very good company. I absolutely recommend Reidar and THE ARTIC MOMENTS!!!

I went on this northern lights hunt the 3rd of January with a group of four other persons and Reidar as our guide. It was a perfect experience. Not only because we were lucky enough to have clear starry skies and the Northern Lights were spectacular, but also due to Reidar himself, a warm caring and knowledgeable guy. He is also a good photographer who beautifully immotalized these moments. I highly recommend him and will definitely call him in on a next trip to the region. Big thanks to him.

If you are planning for the once-in-a-lifetime northern lights hunt, Reidar would be your best choice!! Being so foreign to this cold country like us, Reidar was always ready to answer all sort of our questions and it had eliminated our uncertainties before the excursion and provided us sense of security. Moreover, Reidar kept tracking of the weather condition and flexible to change date for a higher possiblity to the northern light hunt - it was a wise move as we had an amazingly clear sky night! Reidar is meticulous, punctual, reliable and respectful. He planned everything well ahead, took care of everything, gave us choices and listened and answered to all our curiosity! Everything was free and easy and he was sweet as he observed and understood what you might need! We learnt how to observe the sky and take picture of the lights; experienced having a bonfire by the sea under a cold weather with a beautiful starry sky + northern lights! Of course, he took care of our stomach too! We don't know what we could ask anything more from him as it was a perfect experience with him. The most wonderful part is we can just be ourselves throughout the excursion so it's especially comfortable for us! Not only what we had during the trip, it was also Raider's quality as a person perfecting the whole experience!

Es war einfach nur perfekt! Und unser Guide Raider war super. Er hat sogar Deutsch verstanden und hat den Abend einfach perfekt gemacht. Die Lichter haben auch mitgespielt. Immer wieder, wir sind Fans!

Wolken, Wolken, nichts als Wolken. Das wird heute nichts, dachten wir. Oder wenn, dann werden wir mi Glück einen kurzen Blick auf ein Nordlicht erhaschen. Doch diese Rechnung haben wir ohne unseren Guide Reindar gemacht. Er hatte einen Plan A, einen Plan B und sogar noch C im Köcher. Die erste Sichtung war schon besser als unsere Hoffnung. Und dann kam die große Show. Es waren nicht unsere ersten Nordlichter. Aber ein solch wunderbares Spektakel haben wir noch nicht gesehen. Alles in allem war es eine magische Nacht mit einem netten und kompetenten Guide, der auch hervorragend Deutsch spricht. Ein großes Dankeschön an Reindar.

Sehr guter persönlicher Service, beste Tour auch mit Kindern. Hervorragend organisiert. Für mich und meine Enkelkinder Christian 9 Jahre und Carla 8 Jahre ein Abenteuer und einmaliges Erlebnis. Wir wurden sehr gut versorgt und waren sicher unterwegs. Eine kleine Gruppe kann ich empfehlen, da es wesentlich flexibler ist, weiterfahren zum Beispiel: Platz finden der einfach großartig ist. Herzlichen Dank. Wirklich wichtig: beste Winterkleider anziehen, hatte ich etwas unterschätzt, obwohl wir drei Lagen angezogen hatten. Es reicht im Grunde nicht, da es doch viele Stunden in der Kälte sind, dicke Daunenjacke - oder mantel. Thermohose und sehr warme und gute Winterschuhe. Thermosocken( vielleicht sogar 2 Paar), sowie Mütze und Schal, aber alles plüschig zum warm halten. Ich hatte gute Trekkingschuhe, Socken und Thermo-Socken, mir war es nach einer Weile an den Füßen viel zu kalt. Wünsche allen viel Spaß.
