Did not see the lights. Tour guide did not want to stay out late back in Tromso by midnight but another group saw lights after midnight as their tour guide wanted them to have the best experience and chance . We all know that there are alot of things that have to happen for lights to be visible but the tour guide is the most important one of all . Good tour guide with luck and patience see lights. Bad tour guide no patience no lights. Got taken to small parking area over looking Tromso and see all could see was glare of headlights coming towards us . Light pollution !! Then said clouds so moved after very short time to a wooded area where a campfire was lit had cup hot chocolate and cookie . Staring into fire is this meant to make you see lights. Guide sorry clouds. Can we move location no same in Sweden and Finland. Dont want to get back at 3 in morning. Two or more hours driving each way . Standing poss hour in search of lights . Little bit longer we may have seen them . I am disappointed beyond words and guareentee definately does not mean you will . Change guide

Very good experience Andrea was an amazing tour guide, passionate and very informative went to multiple locations to find clear sky's and very good view of very strong active light display highly highly recommend the company and guide.

Jordi is the absolute GOATTT This man knows what he’s doing. He picked out such a great spot and was so nice and accommodating the entire time I wish his dog was with us though so if you can team have it as an option for real! Bro gave us hot chocolate, took a lot of photos for me and was passionate about it too like what else could you want? Bless Jordi and the whole team for getting it done!

Samuel is nice and professional. Although the aurora activity was not high and it was a bit cloudy on that day, Samuel and the driver brought us to different locations to see the aurora and asked us to take photos once the aurora appeared. We had an amazing experience and recommend joining this tour!

The weather conditions during my stay weren‘t the best, it was very cloudy. So I decided to join this tour and it was the best decision I made. It was such a nice experience. We could actually find a perfect spot to experience the northern Lights. Huge thank you to Bernardo and Nelson, who made this possible!

I didn’t think we would get to see the aurora as the forecast wasn’t good However Christoph our amazing driver took us as far out as was possible where we waited Georgio our guide was awesome and really knew his stuff He helped us to position ourselves for the best view and advised when new activity was imminent He took lots of photos and everyone had equal opportunity to engage with him The cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate were much appreciated as we waited for the next display All in all an amazing experience and something to tick off my bucket list Thank you very much to Arctic GM

Amazing Aurora tour! Within just 30 minutes of driving, we were lucky enough to see one of the most majestic auroras dancing across the sky with beautiful, vibrant colors. Huge thanks to Luigi and Vincent — they were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience smooth and unforgettable. The tour is definitely worth the money ,one of the cheapest options on all the website , but absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

We were excluded from the tour less than 2.5 hours before it started, without explanation and with no response to our messages — despite having been officially rescheduled. This last-minute mismanagement left us unable to book another tour and cost us our chance to see the Northern Lights after traveling all the way from Chile.

Seeing the Northern Lights with Arctic GM was truly unforgettable and one of the absolute highlights of my trip. On my second tour, we were incredibly lucky to experience a rare and intense solar activity. During this 6-hour chase, we saw the aurora in multiple locations, and even on the way back David, our guide, kept watching the sky closely and made an additional stop when activity suddenly appeared again, which turned out to be one of the most special moments of the night. His passion really showed. He gave great tips for photographing the aurora, patiently helped everyone, and took many photos of us whenever we asked. Anna, our driver, was excellent as well and made the long journey feel safe and comfortable. Being dropped back at the hotel at the end was a big plus. My first tour with Arctic GM didn’t result in seeing the aurora due to heavy cloud cover, but the effort was still impressive. This was an 8-hour chase, and we drove almost to Finland trying to find clear skies. Samuel, our guide, was amazing, he kept everyone relaxed, happy, and engaged throughout the night, chatting with guests and maintaining a positive and calming atmosphere despite the conditions. Adel, our driver, was kind and professional. While nature can’t be controlled, the team truly did an unlimited chase as promised and they dropped all of us back at our hotels/chosen points. Arctic GM later refunded 75% of my booking, which I really appreciated and felt was very fair. My tip for future travelers: dress extremely warm, even more than you think you need; long hours outside make a big difference. Overall, I would 100% recommend Arctic GM to friends. They are professional, caring, and genuinely committed to giving guests the best possible Northern Lights experience.

Many thanks to George, Nikola and driver Angel for seeking out some great locations to the south of Tromsø. Managed to get some great shots of the Aurora on what was im sure a challenging night for viewing. I’m sure those trips that went to a predetermined location would not fairer as well as our group.. Knowledgeable guides who knew to go made all the difference. Make sure to keep an eye on start time notifications as trip could start early depending on conditions as ours did. Recommended!

Absolutely fantastic trip. We could not have asked for more. We were taken to two fantastic locations and observed incredible light shows. Our guides, Lukas and Bernardo, were incredible, their knowledge and experience was clear from the beginning of the trip. They were both great fun and made the trip even more enjoyable! What a night. Our guides Antonio and Luigi did a great job to show us spectacular views of the Northern lights. The first stop was 20 minutes from Tromso. We had fantastic views there already. They took fotos with us and the Aurora allowing us plenty of time to take our own pictures and videos. Then they drove us another 50 minutes to the north with another fantastic view next to a fjord. Our guides were very entertaining and had great knowledge of the Northern lights. They checked real time when to expect the next "Aurora show". After 7 hours we arrived safely and very happy back at our hotel in Tromso. It was a lifetime experience.

This was the most fabulous tour. Our driver was Marci and our guide was Vincent. They were a great team, making sure that everyone had a good time. The whole experience was incredible. They took us to the best sites and were patient and friendly; waiting for everyone to take their photos and taking photos of us all to make lasting memories. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tromso and looking to see Northern Lights.

Trust is earned with sweat and hard work. I invested a lot of money and brought the entire family, yet no souvenir with photos remained. You promised, but did not deliver. There are no photos from December 25, 2025. They promised professional photography. We showed up empty-handed. Turns out, so did they.

The tour was well run from start to finish. Lucas was a friendly and informative guide who was always happy to help, and Martin drove carefully and confidently throughout the trip. Everything felt smooth and well coordinated. Overall, a solid and enjoyable experience, and I’d happily recommend this tour.

We booked this trip looking forward to seeing the lights. On the day of the trip we were told due to the cloud and the weather they would have to cancel. We asked if we could change to another day and were told we couldn’t. We were promised a refund and it would be between 10-15 days. I think this is a long time too the fact they let us down. This week I asked again where the refund was and was told it would be a further 3-5 days. Still no refund. Today I got in touch with GetYourGuide who advised me no refund was put through and I had to fill a form out and within an hour all emails came through from GetYourGuide that they had issued the refund. I am really not happy with the service and lies given. I highly recommend GetYourGuide but not Artic GM.

The tour was great! We really enjoyed the experience. We met in the city center of Tromso, and a 16 seat van picked us up. We drove for around 2h and tried a couple of spots and finally stopped in a frozen lake. At the beggining the auroras were not very visible, but the guides knew what they were doing. We just waited while taking pictures, having nice conversations with Lucas and then the whole show started. The sky became clear, and we saw a whole show of beautiful auroras. Assam's driving skills were great taking us safely to the best spot. Victor's knowledge and technicall skills were absolutely great, very trustworthy and full of interesting facts. Lucas was caring, attentive and wouldn't get tired of making tons of pictures. He made the evening much more enjoyable and it is obvious how passionate he is about the Northern Lights. As a point for improvement, the snack offering could be improved. Thank you guys for such wonderful experience!! When we come back we will definitely repeat with you!!

Excellent organized tour. Luigi, Jorgos and apologizes forgot the name of the van driver, did their best to find the Aurora and made us happy with seeing Aurora. It was amazing experience. I would recommend the guys to any traveler has Aurora on the list.

I had an amazing experience on this Northern Lights tour in Tromso. The staff Gaia, Lucas and Abu were extremely professional and knowledgeable, guiding us throughout the night as we searched for the Aurora in different locations. Thanks to their dedication and expertise, we were always able to find it with fun and good laughs! The photos they took of us were absolutely beautiful and will be unforgettable memories. Overall, I am very satisfied with the entire experience and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tromso.

Can I leave ZERO stars? We were at the pick up point 15 minites prior and waited for over an hour but nobody showed up! No phonenumber to reach anyone, only offices that are closed in the evening, so we couldn't do anything. Very disappointing!!!

I had a great tour with arctic gm experiences, david, our guide, and hassan, our driver, were both super friendly and helpful and were looking for good places for us to watch the aurora borealis - these were also breathtaking yesterday night. the tour was super organized, we were traveling as a small group, and therefore also very flexible, so we could change the location to watch in between. which was also great, david took pictures of us with the aurora borealis, these we will receive in the coming days. There was also hot chocolate. I had a great evening / night after a rainy day in tromsø, thanks again to the crew who made this possible, the tour is highly recommended!

The tour in general was fine but the car was very small for the number of people we were. unfortunately we did not get to see the auroras because the sky was cloudy but we were told that we will not make the partial refund (We are waiting for it) as the tour said guaranteed views I would recommend that the tour managers put up some benches or chairs so that they don't stand so many hours in the cold waiting to see the auroras

We did this tour twice and were thrilled. From the organization, from the quick answers of the office when you had questions, from the drivers and of course from the guides. The guides gave their all, they did everything to find the Northern Lights, were friendly and patient, no matter how long the tours took. The drivers made you feel safe. The office informed you in time about the exact departure time. This is how I imagine a competent organization! Thanks to all involved !!

Unfortunately the weather was not favorable so we were able to see a bit of aurora only for a short moment; Bernardo and our driver however were super helpful and friendly and did really everything to make us happy, including hundreds of km to go hunting.
