I came to Tromsø specifically to see the northern lights, dragging my boyfriend along with me. After cancelling two different tours because of the weather we booked on to this tour last minute and hoped for the best. Thanks to Jinyar's efforts we stopped twice capturing the northern lights. We ended up at the edge of the water, looking at Sommaroy island and the sky exploded!! It was an incredible experience topped off with hot chocolate, marshmallows and corn in the cob! I highly highly recommend! The small group size meant that we were able to walk a bit off the beaten track to really hunt for the lights and that hunt paid off.

We saw an amazing display of lights. Went to a frozen lake for a bonfire, hot drinks, marshmallows, and corn. Since we saw the lights, the trip didn't last until the wee hours of the morning. Dress warm, fingers will get cold taking pics, and feet get cold around the bonfire.

A superb trip. Our guide was the gentlest person and although worked alone was able to kit us out with snow suits and around a fire waiting for the aurora give us hot chocolate and corn on the cob to cook over the fire. It was snowing in Tromso but he managed to find a spot that was totally clear about one hour away. Be aware that many factors leading to viewing the aurora are beyond the gift of guides, but although other groups joined us on the frozen lake, our guide advised us to stay put as clear skies were approaching from the north. He was right. We waited 2 hours around the fire and were treated to a 2-3 hour aurora. A real treat. Many thanks!

Such a fabulous experience! Our guide Jinyar was warm & welcoming. He made sure we got great professional photos. There was not a lot if activity to the naked eye; however, the camera sees things humans cannot. Jinyar was great at getting fun poses and coached us to get the best shots. He was amazing! Seeing the Northern Lights is my bucket list dream and I’m so happy to have had this experience! We had a cozy bonfire to stay warm, roasted corn & hit chocolate. Highly recommend! Great value and very accommodating. Love the door to door service!

It was like a fairytale. The guys just found a spot near Somoroy island amd we saw Aurora so clear. They also light a fire, drinking hot chocolate around it Simply follow them

The night started under cloudy skies in Tromso and it didn’t seem like we had much chance to see the northern lights. But our driver and guide went above and beyond. They drove us all the way to Finland in search of clear skies and it paid off! We witnessed a breathtaking aurora display dancing above us and our guide took professional photos of us and the lights, capturing unforgettable memories. The bonfire, hot chocolate and marshmallows made the freezing night even more special. It was a magical experience from start to finish. I completely recommend this tour - 100%!

Really enjoyed the experience. The tour leader Jinyar and the driver worked hard to make it a positive experience. It was great to have a small tour group of 7 people. The vehicle was very comfortable and there was a fun selection of fire side snacks. The thermal suits provided were a life saver! Overall we highly recommend this tour company.

The Northern Lights with Alshemal Norway was amazing from start to finish! Our tour guide was great at communicating in the preparation for the tour. He set expectations for what we could experience due to weather this last week (17 - 21 November 2025). Pick up was incredibly efficient & easy to coordinate with WhatsApp. Thankfully, the weather cooperated with us & we were able to get amazing photos! Our guide (with his pro photography skills) & driver took the time to stop at scenic spots along the way to capture extra majestic views near a fjord. Being in a small group of 6 visitors (total 8 people in the vehicle) really helped make things easier to follow the Aurora forecast. Once we stopped to make the campfire for roasting corn & later marshmallows (also included: hot chocolate, coffee, or tea) we started getting glimpses of the Aurora & the longer we were out the better the views got! In addition to photos, our guide also took a video & a time-lapse. The guide and driver’s enthusiasm made the trip even more fun! My southern Californian soul also deeply appreciated the thermal suit & I learned I do need two layers of wool socks (if you get too cold they are happy to let you warm up your feet in the van). A huge thank you to Jinyar and Luigi for a fantastic time!

It was a great experience for me and my wife , we really enjoyed the trip , we cached the lights on the borders with Finland , the weather was very challenging , there is also thermal suits , hot chocolate and free professionnel photos , i recommend of course.
