Scenic Arctic Fjords Road Trip (All Photos Included)

Lovely day with Meda and Matthias exploring the Fjords. Due to a storm the weather on the coast was awful so they changed the itinery for a more comfortable trip which avoided most of the bad weather. We still saw the Arctic Fjords and Meda shared some fabulous photographs. They looked after us so well - thank you :)

Truly enjoyed this exceptional tour of the scenic vistas in the arctic area surrounding Tromso, Norway. Jonas, the guide was wonderful. He was not only informative but also imparted a sense of pride, wonder and respect for the region and all it has to offer. Our group tour was small enough to get around conveniently and varied enough to meet and enjoy one another’s company. Jonas is an expert photographer and took some beautiful portraits in the best locations giving us some lasting memories. Patrick the driver complemented Jonas in getting us all around to see islands, beaches, Fjords, lakes and Reindeer. The lunch by the beach and surrounding environment was delicious too. What a trip!

Meda is an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, interested and friendly guide. We had a lovely day touring the fjords. The lunch was great and sitting on the reindeer skins kept us nice and warm on a damp and cloudy day. She shared lots of information about the area and Norway and showed interest in her customers. Great tour and fantastic guide.

This tour is an excellent idea and it is really a delight to experience some of the beautiful fjords in Norway. The road trip was great despite the unstable weather. Between blue skies and short bursts of rain in a matter of minutes, we were gifted with a nice rainbow in a fjord. Jefta is such a cool dude. A very pleasant person and excellent tour guide. Thomas was also amazing, such a skilled driver.

I had the most incredible time exploring the deep natural beauty of Tromsø with Irene! As a total nature lover, this trip was 100% worth it. Irene is the perfect captain—friendly, funny, and always kept me smiling with her stories. She’s a wealth of knowledge on Norwegian history and was so patient while taking stunning photos of me! She truly went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I highly recommend her to everyone! The trip duration is perfect, won't be too tired.

This fjords road trip was epic and definitely recommend booking this is you want to see spectacular scenery around Tromsø region. The guide Alex was welcoming and always happy to take photos for us and Patrick drove us around to some great viewpoints. It never felt like we were rushing or on a tight schedule which made the whole experience relaxing and good value.

We had a wonderful tour to see the Arctic fjords and landscapes with our guide Meda and driver Igor. Meda gave us lots of information about norwegian nature and showed us some great photo spots. She also took some lovely photos of us, which we will keep as memories. But the highlight of the tour was definitely encountering a wild moose! Igor did his best to get us a good spot to take photos. If you want to learn more about Norway's impressive mountains and fjords, I highly recommend this tour.

This Fjords Tour was absolutely amazing, and a huge part of that was thanks to Ivan out survet and of course Bailey, who was an exceptional guide from start to finish. His storytelling was outstanding. He shared fascinating insights about the fjords, both from a geological perspective and a historical one. Bailey is incredibly attentive, patient, and genuinely passionate. He took the time to photograph everyone, from multiple angles and viewpoints, always with creativity and care. He’s also a fantastic photographer! His positive energy, good mood, and enthusiasm made the whole experience even more special, especially as he kept reminding us how lucky we were to enjoy such perfect weather. The landscapes were simply breathtaking, and sharing this moment with someone so knowledgeable and passionate made it truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the tour so much! Our guide Bailey is so nice and friendly. We spent the day in lovely weather! The views were stunning, and I loved eating lunch by the campfire while the guide told his stories.

We had the best time on this beautiful tour of Norway’s Arctic scenery. The fjords, mountains and beaches are just so gorgeous. They make plenty of stops, so you don’t feel like you are on the bus for a long time. The guides Marius and Ivana shared a lot of interesting information about the locations we visited and were just such lovely people! A big thank you to the driver Karol who is truly amazing, driving us through Arctic conditions safely. The fire and food at the end is such a nice way to finish the tour before heading back to Tromsø’s city centre. We highly recommend this tour with Chasing Lights!

We had a fantastic time on our Arctic fjords trip with Bailey. He’s incredibly experienced and has an amazing eye — he spotted reindeer and sea eagles from far away, giving us the chance to see these wild animals up close in their natural environment. Bailey is also a wonderful photographer and captured so many beautiful photos for us to remember the trip by （attached some lovely photos that Bailey took）. On top of that, he shared lots of interesting knowledge about Norway and the fjords, and his warm, outgoing personality — plus his fun stories — made the day even more special. We really enjoyed this journey with Bailey and highly recommend him!

Our fjords road trip was absolutely unforgettable. Yafta was incredibly friendly, warm, and made us feel like we had known him forever. His energy and professionalism truly elevated the whole experience, and he even captured amazing photos of us with his professional camera. Our guide, Bailey, and driver, Patrick, made this trip unforgettable. Bailey reminded us that life is about the journey, not just the destination—and this adventure truly embodied that. From trudging through knee-deep snow to running on icy roads with the sunset behind us, and lying by the sea with snacks in hand, it was a true core memory. Despite some challenging weather, Owen and Patrick gave an amazing tour. We had a great time learning about and seeing the beautiful fjords and beaches, as well as having a campfire lunch. We also enjoyed Patrick’s music taste :)

Had a good time seeing places around Tromso. The Lunch was the freeze dried salmon rice which did not live up to the expectation.

We loved every minute of this trip, and it was a real highlight of our stay in Tromsø. Jefta and Patryk took us to see some amazing sights, and had a lot of interesting information and stories to share. I’m still in awe of all the beautiful things we saw, just incredible.

Had a lovely trip guided by Meda, Bailey and Patrick. Absolute stars they were. They attended to each passenger as much as possible. The little picnic by the fjord was such a nice touch.

Everything about the trip was absolutely amazing! Meda and Patryk took us to some of the most breathtaking locations we have ever seen. Meda was very friendly and made sure that everyone felt comfortable on the trip. She took some stunning pictures for us as well. We had a delicious lunch with some hot juice at a very beautiful beach in front of a fire. A great way to see some of the beautiful arctic wilderness around Tromsø! (These photos don't do it justice.) We were fortunate to enjoy thick powdery snow in late March, though apparently the week before hadn't been as nice. Plenty of flexible stops with time to get out, play in the snow and take pictures. Didn't feel rushed at all. Didn't see as much wildlife as I'd have liked but that's no one's fault (some seals and reindeer from a distance). The bus was comfortable, group size was small and good. Lunch was freeze dried field pack type food, which was really tasty but portion may be small for some. There was an opportunity to buy snacks from a grocery store too. Our guide Jonas was really great, very friendly and probably the main reason the trip was such a success. After the trip, he sent us all the wonderful photos he had taken, along with a detailed outline of where we went. Would highly recommend!!

Jefta was an excellent guide for our Artic Fjords road trip. His enthusiasm and energy were infectious, and he took us to some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. I like to take photos and Jefta was more than happy to help show me some of the best spots at each location, plus he got great shots of the group. I would highly recommend.

This was the most scenic tour, with beautiful sights of artic fjords, frozen lakes, sandy beaches, Arctic wildlife, and the incredibly charming and knowledgeable Jefta our tour guide! From fireside chats over our delicious meal, pitstops for cookies and warm Norwegian syrup drink, and many pitstops to take in the awe-inspiring scenery of Tromsø, this is truly a must-do with Chasing Lights when visiting Tromsø!

Our Arctic Fjords tour with Jefta and Patrick was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. The day was extraordinary from start to finish, with Jefta offering fascinating insights on the history of the places we visited, along with discussions of how climate change is affecting the Arctic. The fjords we visited were utterly beautiful and Jefta’s expert photography captured our visit wonderfully. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough.

Our trip today was great! As our guide, Nelson, advised us, we saw many weather systems and different parts of the nature of northern Norway. The trip was well planned and executed. There was clear collaboration between our tour guide and driver. They shared a good rapport and respect which made me feel more relaxed and comfortable with our trip.

Enjoyed the tour visiting several scenic fjords in the Tromso area with our guide Jonas and driver Vasilis. The views are really stunning amid the freezing cold. It's a must try!

Well organised trip with acknowledged and friendly tour guide David. The view is stunning and we had good chances to take beautiful pictures.Highly recommend!

David and Natalia hosted us for on a very comfortable and informative journey around some nearby fjords. Great hosts, friendly and informative service. Ignore the provided instructions and meet the bus Outside at bus parking. Biggest downside of this trip was poor communication via only TripAdvisor links. No emails after initial confirmation. Tour was about 6 hours. We stopped at erdjordbotn to see the ice waterfall, then to a quaint coffee and gift shop. Walked to nearby stone beach for some fjord photos. On to next stop, with pause to see if we could spot some otters (they were too fast, only the guide saw them) Then to Grotfjorden beach for some shots of that fjord. Finally to the Brosmortinden Trail head. This is a plateau between 2 fjords at some nice elevation. Beautiful peaks surround you and a short 15 minute hike to the magnificent view west or 40 mins to cliff side. With many elderly on our tour the guide could not hike about with us, but ask where to go for some great photos.

I 100 percent recommend this tour. It takes you to some really beautiful locations and overall it’s a really enjoyable day. I took this tour with David, who was phenomenal. You could tell he really loves doing this and his joy is contagious. Overall it was just wonderful; book it!

Dave is a good guide and photographer. You can feel David deeply is enthusiastic about his job. The beautiful sunrise, snowy mountains, otters, whales, waterfall, Fjords are so impressive in this trip. Thank Dave for taking us to see this beautiful view and take good photos for everyone.
