Such a great experience!! The tour guides were great and answered any questions we had. I loved how much I got to learn about the Sami culture.

We loved feeding the reindeer in the snowstorm! The animals were very gentle and hungry. The warming huts were nice and the stew fantastic. We learned about the Sami culture and had a few laughs. 10 out of 10 would do this again.
What an unforgettable experience to spend time with reindeer while also learning about Sami culture. The whole experience is very well run and both of the Sami guides on site were highly knowledgeable and willing to interact with visitors. I learned so much, especially from Jon. Highly recommend!
We had the most fun feeding the reindeer and had a good hour just to roam around the farm with the animals. It is therapeutic for the soul! This was followed by spending another hour in the warm cabin having delicious reindeer stew and then an informative talk by our Sami guide John-Michael - whose full name I couldn’t memorise however many times he repeated it. The joiking was an unexpected surprise which definitely made an impression on us. I was looking forward to buying a few souvenirs from the shop but this was very limited unfortunately. Then finally we had a comfortable 3/4 hour ride back to Tromso. Very contented 😊
Really well run operation. Pickup was on time, the camp was only 40 min outside of Tromso and we got to feed so many reindeer! They have a herd of 71 reindeer to feed and this was a really fun experience. When you get there, you put the shoe covers on and get to feed them right away. After that, you get soup (either reindeer or vegetable) and listen to Sami history.
Great tour , the Sammi guides wear excellent communicators. I would recommend this tour to everyone. Well done
This was the best tour in 6-8 years we have been cruising! FUN, AFFORDABLE, ( a price of less than half of others), HANDS ON ( feeding the deer), INFORMATIVE ( hearing stories about the SAMI) and DELICIOUS ( the reindeer stew)! The staff was kind, helpfully and creative! We are encouraged to use your company again!
Wonderful experience, very interesting to find out all about the Sami culture. Lots of Reindeer to pet and feed.
Great experience. Beautiful people and place. Loved the reindeer feeding. Also knowledgeable session about the people and culture
Great afternoon. The reindeer are so cute ! Great to learn about sami culture & the reindeer stew was very tasty. Recommend doing a tour. Only down side, the toilets.
Experience was ok. My main issue is that the vendor has not processed my AA loyalty points for about 3 months now with no communication as to why and when I can get my points. For those where this is relevant, you may want to consider using another vendor.
All magical. Lovely hosts, tasty stew, beautiful (if not very hungry) reindeer. Toilets a bit grim but then it is out in the wild places
Meeting and feeding the reindeer was an incredible experience, especially seeing the variety of antlers in different shapes and sizes. Located just an hour from Tromsø, the short journey made the trip even more enjoyable. Learning about Sami culture was highly educational and was presented in an engaging, interactive manner. Warm drinks and delicious reindeer or vegetable stew added to the experience. However, the cleanliness of the toilets was disappointing. Apart from that it was a pleasant experience overall. I highly recommend trying the reindeer feeding and sami culture tour.
Was lovely to be up close feeding the reindeer and learning about the Sami culture. The journey time from Tromso is under an hour in a very comfortable large coach. The food provided was also good (reindeer stew but also a vegi option)
Very fun to feed the Reindeer. They are gentle and easy to feed. I enjoyed their beautiful colors, antlers, size and personalities. The Sami story telling was interesting and educational.
You will mostly spend 1 hr on the bus, 1 hr feeding the reindeer, 1 hr for having the reindeer soup meal with a Sami guide explaining their culture and 1 hr on the bus again to return. With 1500kr (which i paid), I think it's not worth. But it's up to individuals.
Beautiful valley, breathtaking views and it was very fun to interact with reindeers. Scenic views from afternoon departures.
It is amazing, the reindeer are fun, the fires warm, the food was delicious. I really enjoyed and appreciated meeting and listening to the Sami guide who was a herder in the wild most of the time. There are so few indigenous people left who have a life in the modern world but also the same as their ancestors thousands of years in the past. They deserve some tourist $ and to be listened to. If you just go to feed the reindeer and see the mountains then you won't be disappointed. My wife wasn't going to eat the reindeer stew but found it to be absolutely delicious, I think as meat was as good as anything I have had anywhere before. The view of the mountains in the background is worth the journey alone. In fact it was nice to see the scenery on the coach. It was all well organised and a nice time. I think the only thing we would have liked to change would have been to stay longer!
Fun to feed the reindeers and very informative about the Sami Culture but would have been better to have the lunch first as lunch for the afternoon departure is only at 3pm. So its not quite lunch. So do grab something to eat first. Maybe I wish the tour was shorter as there was quite a bit of free time so take your time feeding the reindeers.
Great excursion! The bus to the camp was comfortable, our guide was knowledgeable and feeding the reindeer was so memorable! Learned about the fascinating Sami culture in a cozy setting with delicious reindeer stew. Everything was perfect! Wouldn’t change a thing.
The reindeer feeding was very cool! They are skittish, so no guarantees that one will approach you… but if you stay still for long, they will get curious and come close! The reindeer stew was tasty, and the stories of Sami culture were enlightening!
The experience is cute, they let you feed the reindeer, give you a reindeer stew, including cookies and water
All organized well. Beautiful experience. Highly recommended. Gorgeous reindeer and very nice Sami Representative
Cibo in quantità e ambiente caldo.
Nice, a little touristy, the bus to get there was very unpleasant, because the windows were tinted and grilled ,so,we could see nothing pity
Excellent experience, very interesting, the reindeer are beautiful and the Sami culture is fascinating. I definitely recommend it.
