This tour with Matteo was great. The weather wasn't ideal but Matteo got us to some absolutely beautiful places to coincide with breaks in the clouds. He was happy to tell us lots about the landscape and wildlife and also gave us great tips on photography.

We had a great day with our guide Fillipo! The scenery was amazing and he was a very good guide. He knew a lot about the area and could answer all our questions. He was also a very good driver and knew some small "hidden" stops that were great. Definitely recommend it! The tour is a bit limited by the schedule of the ferry. it was in July which is busy season, so we had to be there in good time before departure and had some waiting time. It also meant not quite as much time for the stoos as you could wish, but you can't really fit more into a day tour anyway. Our guide managed the time really well. Lunch was just simple soup while waiting for the ferry, but it was super nice and just how we like it.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with FramTours was deeply disappointing. I had booked and fully paid for a day tour from Tromsø to Senja—an experience I was genuinely looking forward to as part of my Arctic adventure. Unfortunately, the tour operator did not show up on the day of the tour. No prior communication, no email, no phone call—nothing. I waited at the designated pickup location at the scheduled time, double-checked my booking confirmation, and tried to reach out through every available contact method, but received no response. Not only did I lose an entire day of my trip waiting around, but I also missed the opportunity to explore a part of Norway that was high on my list. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of accountability and follow-up from FramTours. No explanation, no apology, and as of now, no refund yet. I am waiting for a refund fro GetYourGuide through which I had made the reservations. I understand that things can go wrong, but how a company handles those situations says everything. Sadly, FramTours failed on every front. I cannot recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional tour experience in Northern Norway.

A highly recommend and must see tour! Luckily, we had a cloudless blue sky which made our tour very enjoyable. The views were absolutely stunning and breathtaking. Our tour guide, Filippo, was outstanding. He was very informative with high energy. He was extremely pleasant and humorous during our full day tour. He was great in ensuring we all had a great time. He provided us with good background and facts about the area. He took our pictures and he was a great host. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He knew all the great spots for viewing and picture taking. Filippo was very passionate about his work and he was fun to spend our whole day with. We loved his energy and professionalism. We had a memorable day tour and we highly recommend FRAM Tours.

This tour was the most scenic tour we experienced in Northern Norway. The blend of Fjords , Snow mountains, Sand and Norwegian Sea was incredibly amazing. Our tour guide David was simply excellent , very well informed, Cheerful and energetic.. I would highly recommend this tour for nature lovers ...

Great adventure - stunning scenery - David was very knowledgeable and looked after the group as the weather was inclement - with heavy rain on our return which meant we had to cope with low cloud and fog which covered some of the great Arctic vistas. Enjoyed Soup for lunch while we waited for a ferry back from Senja. Tricky to find the meeting place @ 7am!

Philip was an amazing tour guide. Highly recommended for tourist to visit these islands. Senja and kvaloya were breathtaking picturesque and beautiful. Ample time to take photos at your own pace. There were little to nobody else but us so we got many spots to ourselves.

We took the tour on May 22 and it was beyond our expectations: we had the chance to be only the two of us with the guide, due to the fact that we were in low season and it lead to really good interactions with our guide. Beside all the wonderful landscapes we could see during the tour, we want to give a special mention about our guide, Filippo, who was very friendly and knowledgeable, professional, and made the experience so cool for us. We had a very nice day in his company, almost as if he was a friend with whom we were taking a roadtrip. Senja is beyond magnificent, we of course would have like to be able to see all of it (which is not possible in a single day), but the chosen destinations on the island were perfect and worth it. We really appreciated the chosen itinerary on Kvaløya and Senja. Make sure to ask your guide to stop by Mefjordvær on your way back from Senja to Kvaløya! Despite the price, the tour is definitely worth it, specially if you don't have a car or cannot drive to visit Senja on your own, as there is no public transport to the island and inside the island. Even driving on the small roads of Senja is tricky, a tour is perfect to make sure you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. We would recommend with no hesitation to anyone, especially if Filippo is the guide!

Great tour to get a glimpse of the nearby towns. Our tour guide was great about providing the history behind the view points/stops and answered all our questions. Many photo opportunities as well! So glad I was able to join this tour!

We booked two excursions with the guys from FRAMtours: discovery of the Lyngen Alps and a tour of the island of Senja. We had two different guides, Filippo and David, but both were truly fantastic. How wonderful it is when people manage to convey to you all the love they have for what they do! Both of them made us discover wonderful places that are not very crowded. Places where it seems that time stands still. We learned a lot of things about the local culture and a lot of information about the wildlife: we saw moose, a fox, and a ferret! They were two truly beautiful days. Excellent organization and highly recommended.

the tour to Kvalöya and Senja was cancelled at short notice the evening before due to bad weather. The question arose via mobile phone whether I would like to get the money back or if I would like to participate in another tour. The next morning I told them to refund me the money. I have not received the refund to date and FramTours as the organizer turns out to be dead. At my inquiries nothing happened. So watch out!

We stayed a week in tromso and we took advantage of their professionalism, they took us around to see things like mountains, fjords islets and ravines that you would not see with other operators.... especially locals that are quite touristy. They are always available, we chatted often to optimize the experience.... Cristian, Matteo and Filippo really thank you very much.... magnificent

I am part of an astrophile association and we wanted to make a journey not only playful but also scientifically impregnated and fulfilling to discover the Northern Lights in Tromsø. They recommended Fram Tours.. I have traveled a lot in life, but NEVER have I interfaced with such a reliable and competent company. From the booking and organization to the actual realization of the trip, we received support and professionalism. When we arrived in Tromsø we came across terrible weather with blizzards and overcast skies .. and yet they, with the expertise and expertise they are equipped with, made us enjoy the best experience both for the Northern Lights and for other excursions and activities crossing weather, NASA data and knowledge of places and habits. Super excellent hotel accommodation in the city center, pick-up service to and from the airport, dinners around the fire under the dawn... There was no imperfection .. all beautiful! Highly recommended .. because their choice made an abysmal difference in terms of travel satisfaction!!
