All-inclusive Arctic Fjords And Sommarøy Scenic Tour

Tour guide was very informative along the journey. Described the areas and fjords. Our driver was exceptional. Numerous stops along the way with wonderful views. Lunch was delicious

It was a great experience seeing the surrounds. The tour operator made sure we got to the meeting point in good time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had some great discussions over lunch. On another note, we met the same guide at Fjellheisen (a magnificent viewpoint) he was leading another tour group, & again at the airport. We recognised each other straight away. So that gives some indication of the trip which was very memorable.

Beautiful scenery and informative; so even when the weather didn’t quite play along it was still a very nice outing.

Trip run out of season and therefore didn’t see anything. This trip would be excellent in the summer months but they should not be ripping off tourists in the winter.

Loved this tour because we got to see another area of Norway that was a little bit different from Tromsø. You make stops along the way to Sommarøy so the drive doesn’t feel too long. Elena was an amazing guide - very informative and thoughtful. She also took amazing pictures along the way!

The Sommarøy tour was an incredible experience! We enjoyed a lot! We saw beautiful fjords and the snow on the beach, amazing!! Elena was such a fantastic guide, so friendly and passionate about what she showed us:) She took us beautiful photos with her camera. We were a small and a cozy group and we had hot chocolate with cookies :) This tour is a must if you are in Tromsø! Thank you Elena, for making it unforgettable!

Unfortunately the weather was rainy all day and most of the destinations were too icy for walking but the landscapes were beautiful and the tour guide and driver made the up for it with their enthusiasm.

This tour was one of the highlights of our stay in Tromsø and has our highest recommendation. Kirstin our guide, and Terje our driver, were both exceptional and ensured our day was truly memorable. Kirstin is a professional photographer and she generously shared high resolution images from every stage of our tour, with breathtaking views of Sommarøy and Kvaløya. Truly unforgettable.

We really enjoyed this trip. Georgios was a really friendly and engaging guide and we enjoyed all the stop offs along the way where most of the time we were the only bus there. Lunch was decent. Veggie option provided.

Excellent and unforgettable experience, beautiful scenery along the trip, scenic beach of Sommaroy island. Our tour lead, Mattia and Leaf (sorry if wrong spelling), are very knowledgeable. Hot drinks served, one of best part is husky cafe with delicious fish soup. Thank you to Mattia and Leaf.. .

We went on Artic Fyords day trip with Northern Norway Travel. It was one of the best times we had in Norway . Mailee- our tour guide was amazing, extremely knowledgeable about the attractions/ places she took us on this trip. She kept us engaged through out the day, explaining the historical and cultural facts about the place. She took some fantastic photos and is really passionate about photography . I’d highly recommend this tour operator and Mailee of course !

Mailee was the most wonderful tour guide for the day. Our lovely driver Hose too took great care of us. The journey was lovely through the whole tour of the islands. The photos are beautiful. Also, after hearing some people's boat tours had been cancelled. Marliee sorted out booking us on to Martin northen lights chase that night. Equally, Martin was very fun friendly and we had an all round amazing experience. Couldn't recommend the guides enough! The views here are stunning. We will definitely miss the peace and tranquility of Trosmo! Until next time!

A very nice experience to Sommarøy Island. , Mailee our sweet & professional tour guide & Yarik our driver from Poland found an amazing spot and was very kind and professional. For 6 hours in the cold, they let us see beautiful fjords, landscapes, picturesque beaches even reindeers too. Offer hot drinks & cookies, also stop for a lunch with some desserts in a hotel! I recommand this company and this guide 6 out of 5.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Arctic Day Trip with tour guide David. We saw everything, the fjords, snow capped peaks, lakes, ocean, rain, snow and my favorite the Rein deer 🦌 it was a small group and the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, made us feel at home and helped us find our way around too. Thanks so much for this memorable day with nature 🤩🤩

The scenery is amazing. However, I personally feel that it’s not worth the price as we kinda rush the schedule. We did not get to enjoy the free coffee, tea or hot chocolate too. Lunch is very simple

We spent an excellent day exploring Kvaloya and Sommaroy with Alex and Jose. We went in a minivan and it was just two of us and Alex and Jose. Alex is an wonderful guide and excellent photographer. He gave us a lot of information and always kept our spirit up. Jose is a cheerful man with a lot of experience and very safe behind wheels. We felt like we atr traveling with our friends, such cheerful was their company. Alex and Jose chhose excellent stops with breathtaking views. We saw three reindeer s while going to Sommaroy and way back. Had a delicious lunch at at Sommaroy and ww enjoyed the lunch time chitchat very much. In each spot we were given plenty of time for ourselves to soak in the panaroma , Norway offers. I will highly recommend this tour with them.

Despite the rain and clouds at the beginning of the tour, our guide Jacob found a wonderful spot with clear sky and dancing auroras! Unbelievable, extraordinary experience of nordic lights! Campfire, aurora stories and all explanations made an excellent tour! We had professional photos taken (just note that only the low definition photos are free). Thank you Jacob!

What can I say except that everything was just perfect? Amazing organization, wonderful landscapes and well prepared guide and driver. An extra mention to our guide Apostolos, he really brought the tour to the next level. Our driver Redar was also great in giving us nice tips and explaining us the local lifestyle being him from Tromsø. Keep up the good work guys!

Had a wonderful time on this day tour. Our guide, Apostolos, was informative and engaging. Because of the small group, it felt more personable.The driver, Kjetil,was also great, and was very helpful. They both ensured that we were comfortable and safe especially since the ground could be quite slippery due to the snow. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed the tour and we were fortunate to be able to enjoy the stunning views in relatively good weather. The duration of the tour was just right and we appreciated the snack break of hot beverage and cookies, while enjoying the marvellous views of the surrounding fjords.

The owner is very warm and sweet to show us the very beautiful secenery of Somarry island, she akways shoot photos when we are very enjoy in the nature, you will see, wow.... so amazing photos.

I've had a very nice trip to Kvaloya and Sommaroy island! The guide was super friendly and she knew quite a lot to tell and I was very happy to see much more than I would by public transport. I think the money on this trip was very well spend!

Well organized, with a 15-seater minibus, we had really nice driver and guide. The guide Eléna is very affable, speaks Spanish, Italian, English and French. He took us to see the most scenic corners on a tour of about 6 hours, with coffee break and lunch in a very nice restaurant, in a wonderful place.

Excursion not to be missed ... our guide Elena showed us the most beautiful places to take beautiful pictures.. sommaroy the Caribbean of Norway .. except the water temperature

It was a great trip, all weather is the character of this region and it was a lot of fun. You could tell our guide how much she loves to show us this beautiful country to visitors.

I booked the tour for Sundays, there was an email, there would be too few people there, whether I can also on Saturdays or Mondays. OK - then Monday. Then the provider writes, I book you for Tuesday ! I had to walk to the store there, sort everything out and then completely cancelled everything.

This trip was unfortunately cancelled by the agency. Therefore, no evaluation is possible. However, we were informed early by phone and then also by mail about the cancellation.

The excursion was very good but we hired this one in particular because it specified that the language would be in Spanish and it was not, it is the only glue I can put on it.

Even if the animals were not there, the island of kvaloya is very beautiful. Philippe, our guide (a French!), loves this island, and you can feel it in his explanations. Being very kind, we spent with him and thanks to him a great day, even without the animals!
