Warren was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable and took time to point out all the wildlife. He allowed extra time for photos and questions and was all around a great guide. Would absolutely book more tours with him!
It was a very nice trip in awesame nature. We saw a lot of animals and were able to ride our kayaks also through narrow cannals in the jungle. Strongly recommended.
Absolutely amazing experience! The wildlife was incredible, the kayaks were great, and the route through the canals was beautiful. Every minute of the tour was worth it, but what truly made it unforgettable was our guide, Louis. He knew every fun fact, answered every question with so much detail, and was genuinely funny and engaging. You could tell he loves what he does, and it made the whole experience even better. Louis went so far above and beyond what we expected. Our tour started at 6:00 am, and after our whole excursion, he surprised us by taking us to a sea turtle release! He paddled us to the conservancy dock, got us parade access, and we were literally walking the turtle down to the beach to get released. We had front-row views of the entire experience, and he safely kayaked us back afterwards, staying with us until 9:30. It was an unforgettable day, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Thank you, Louis!
We had the most beautiful and amazing kayak trip with Daniel and a brilliant and wonderful walking tour with Warren. So much knowledge and experience. It was a great pleasure to join those 2 guides. Thank you for the great opportunity. Very highly recommended
We had the most amazing time with Warren! It was only us two and Warren on the tour and we saw an incredible lot of animals because Warren had such a good eye for it. He always put a lot of effort into going to areas without other people to be able to see as much fauna as possible - which was only managable because we could move freely in the kayaks. Also, he had an exceptional knowledge on the different species we encountered and how they live. Communication was very relaxed and easy. He even took some extra time for us to be able to see as much as possible and did not give up until we saw all the animals on the bucket list. A very passionate guide, totally recommendable!
We had the kayak tour with Waren. It was an amazing experience as you feel close to nature and with the kayak you can go deeper into the canals where bigger boats don’t reach. If you don’t mind the paddling I would definetely recommend it over the canoe tour. Waren was an excellent guide that showed as many animals and explained the history of the place!
I had the best time! Beautiful nature, animal watching and kayaking - so much fun! Warren spots and explains everything perfectly. You should definitely go!
Very nice experience with Andy we saw lot of animals and Andy provided very good info.
Warren was our tour guide for the kayaking trip and everything was excellent he explained the history of the vegetation, the different animals, birds, and trees and took us on a kayaking tour that was absolutely amazing 100/10 experience
Warren and his son Evan took 15 of us on a wonderful kayak tour through the park’s canals. Our group included 10 high school students ages 14-18 with varying degrees of experience kayaking (none to lots). Warren was patient and extremely knowledgeable, telling us all about any bird, animal, or plant we saw, plus the history of the park. He spotted all sorts of creatures, he knew his stuff, and his love for the place and his work was evident. Don’t motor through the canals — get in a kayak with Warren where you can have zero impact and maneuver into the small spaces. Highly recommend!
My wife and I took a kayak tour with Warren. He was deeply knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. He knew so much about where we would find certain species as well as interesting background information about all of them. He went above and beyond in time and energy that which we could have expected. We also appreciated all that he taught us about some of the cultural and historical significance of what we were experiencing. It was a fantastic experience!
Simply incredible. Warren made the tour something truly special and personal with a lot of information and fun. It felt like being on an expedition. A must-do!
It's not a Zoo you need good eyes and a bit luck to see animals but the guides have a big experience and are very helpful to find them. We started at 6 a.m. and could enjoy the sunrise during paddle inside the rain forest. We had a really good guide (Warren) who found a lot of different animals (e.g. Kaimans, pianobirds, howler monkey) and we had a lot of fun with him. I recommend this Tour!
Cannot rate the kayaking tour highly enough. Gabriel the instructor was so friendly and knowledgeable. We also did the day walking tour with him. Both tours were great and definitely worth doing to see & learn more! You get really close to some fantastic animals and birds in the kayak but we saw lots on the day tour too. Flying visit so didn’t have time for a night tour as well! Definitely recommend!
Andy our guide did an amazing job! We enjoyed every minute of it and would definitely recommend! We saw a lot of wild animals and went deep into the canals with the Kajak
Absolutely amazing experience, our guide, Gabriel, was incredible!! He showed us animals that we definitely wouldn't have seen otherwise, took pictures for us and was just all around really nice!! Definitely recommend it for anyone that's thinking about booking a kayaktour in Tortuguero.
We had a great time kayaking within Andy! It was practically a private tour. Andy shared a lot of information on the animals and the surroundings.
My partner and I went on an unforgettable kayaking tour with Gabriel through Tortuguero National Park's canals. We were met with coffee and snacks before setting out in a 2-person kayak. Gabriel introduced us to the park and explained some of the history as we set out to spot some amazing wildlife. Gabriel was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the creatures in the area. We saw howler monkeys, spider monkeys, caiman, toucans, anhinga, 4 different types of heron, plenty of iguanas, and many other spectacular birds! Gabriel had an excellent eye and lots of interesting information to share. The kayak meant we could get up closer to the wildlife than we would have been able to in a motorboat or canoe, and the tour was really peaceful. We were lucky as it was just the two of us with Gabriel, so it felt like a private tour. The cost was good value, although remember that you also need to pay for the Tortuguero National Park admission online ahead of time. Well worth it, and seems like a better way to explore than on foot, as you can get in amongst the trees and canal systems by boat. Highly recommend! We were really glad to have Gabriel as our guide - he's an asset to Tuanis :)
We as a family of 3 had a great experience with our guide, Tivy. We saw lots from a different view point - caiman, sloth, iguana etc. Gentle pace and taking lots in. We were able to access places the motorboats aren’t allowed. Nice place to launch from with toilets and office will look after bags.
We had a fantastic tour with Warrin! He takes his time to explain all the animals, and the tour was not short of that!
Everything was perfectly organized. Warren, our guide, made the tour an unforgettable experience for us. We saw a great many animals! Thank you for everything🤩
The kayak tour early in the morning with Oscar was great. He showed me various spots where I could find animals. The tour lasted longer than normal; he took a lot of time and is a very pleasant, thoughtful, and lovable guy! That prompted me to book a tour into the park with him in the afternoon and another night tour right away in the evening. His knowledge about the animals is enormous and highly fascinating. I can absolutely recommend booking a tour with him! He then gave me his contact information afterward to send me various fascinating books about birds and also gave me insider tips about his hometown, Heredia. We then went with him to a super typical restaurant that tourists usually walk right past and had the best tortilla with queso, pinto, eggs, and yuca desserts there! Amazing day!
Our guide Warren was great. He knew so much and you could see that he has a passion for nature. We saw a lot of flora and fauna. If you go to Tortuguero, I would definitely book this tour with Warren
The kayaking activity on the canals of Tortuguero with Oscar was wonderful; we saw many animals, the activity is well-paced, and Oscar, beyond having been a wonderful guide, was a very beautiful human encounter; thank you for this superb experience.
An unforgettable experience. The place is amazing, but our guide Marco made it incredible. It was a private tour that we loved, and meeting people like Marco in life makes the world a better place. Highly recommended.
We went on a 2:30 kayak trip with Oscar. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of our trip. Oscar was passionate and fascinating. We loved it!
Great kayaking experience with Andy: we did 3 hours of excursion with him through the canals of Tortuguero and saw lots of wildlife: toucans, sloths, caimans, crocodile, etc. We recommend 100%!
Overall, I can recommend this kayak tour to anyone who wants to combine nature, adventure and relaxation. I would do them again anytime! Of particular note is the guide Warren, who was not only very friendly and helpful, but also shared exciting information about the environment and wildlife.
Had a great tour, guide knew a lot to tell and spot animals. We enjoyed from start to finish!
We spent 2 pleasant moments with our guide Andy who allowed us to discover the local flora and fauna (night walking excursion + kayak trip sunrise). We recommend +++
Spectacular Kayak tour of the tortoise canals. 100% recommended. Our guide "warren" a 10!!! Super attentive and passionate about explaining and showing biodiversity
We left early in the morning for a kayak ride to observe the animals, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Daniel, was exceptionally passionate, respectful of nature and with an impressive knowledge of wildlife. Thanks to him, we were able to observe many animals. We left delighted!
It was a great experience with Warren on a kayak tour of the river and the Tortuguero mangrove. We loved this immersion as close as possible to Costa Rican nature! I highly recommend!
Communication with Tuanis Tours via WhatsApp in advance went great, the kayak tour with Rabat was one of our highlights in Costa Rica! Despite the rain, we have seen many animals about which Rabat could give us a lot of information. Our impression was that you are much more “private” with the kayak than with the larger canoe trips with other providers. All in all a perfect experience, pura vida!
I really recommend this experience! Gabriel is an extraordinary guide and we had the chance to see many animals during our walk! The price is really correct compared to the experience!
The kayak tour was breathtakingly beautiful! At sunrise it started, there were only two of us plus our tour guide Andy. He was super nice and patient, showed us lots of animals and gave us time to photograph. He always explained a lot about this and could answer any question! It is definitely worth getting up early, we would recommend this tour to everyone, an absolute must!
Very nice to do, lots of animals spotted, including 2 caimans, a turtle and of course sloths and monkeys. We had Andy as a guide, he could tell you all about the animals and plants. We had a great time.
Beautiful trip through the National Parc. Especially the tiny waters between the majestic trees were very special to me. The guide was skilled and knew how to spot many animals.
Excellent tour with him. Guide Andy, lots of explanation and lots of exotic animal sighting, we enjoyed it quite a bit
Absolute recommendation. We did the kayak tour in Tortuguero National Park and it fit from start to finish. I would like to highlight our guide WARREN in particular: mega sympathetic, really good view for animals and he guided us through the tour superbly. He has discovered many animals that we would never have seen on our own and has been careful not to drive into the large crowds. Instead, we were often in quieter, separate areas, which made the tour much more relaxed and authentic. Overall, a lot of fun, great organization and a really strong experience.
Expert guide Woreen, good communication the Night tour and the canoe tour were fantastic. Beautiful animals met.
We really liked the tour, we got to know a lot about nature and birds. Our guide was Andy. We would recommend this tour again and again.
