Mystical Night Tour In Tortuguero

Super friendly and knowledgeable guide with a great eye for spotting wildlife. Great communication beforehand and helpful in figuring out the remainder of my stay. Of course you have to get a bit lucky to see cool things on a walk like this, but Jairo made sure that we wouldn't miss anything. We saw a sloth with a baby, the red eyed tree frog and a sleeping toucan (among many other things!). We had a small group and he also made sure we had plenty of time to get a good view and pictures, and made sure the best guests pictures were shared so everyone had them. :) I booked two more activities with him, because he was just a great guide and super helpful!

Jairo was a genuinely passionate guide who is serious about conservation, nature, and finding interesting things to show us on the tour. He was able to show us all the amazing animals like sloths, spiders, lizards, iguanas, and a frog very up close and personal. His eye for nature helped us see the coolest animals and he had detailed descriptions and answered all the questions we had patiently. He is a consummate professional and you can’t miss a tour with him! Highly recommend!

Jairo has been an amazing guide. We could truly sense his passion for nature and we had the opportunity to see so much in his company: boa constrictor, frogs, monkeys, snakes, sloths, grasshopers, spiders, sleeping tucan ! Great guide! He was very knowledgeable and friendly, we saw a lot of animals with him and always got cool explanations for what we saw.

We did both a canoe tour and a night tour with Jairo, and you can truly feel his passion in everything he does. We found this was one of the best tours offered as he really will take his time and make sure you see as much wildlife as possible, for example we managed to see so much it was a great experience and I would highly recommend! We saw sloths/Snake/spiders and many kinds of birds and more.

We had a really nice tour with Jairo! He knows a lot about the area and the wildlife that lives there. He shared all his information with a great deal of enthousiasm and excitement. We saw a lot of beautiful animals and had a really great experience.

We did a very nice evening tour with Jairo tonight. He also told us a bit about the history of Tortuguero during the tour which we really liked. Along the way we have seen many different wildlife, from sloths, to snakes, to frogs to various species of spiders. He knew a lot about all these species! We would highly recommend this tour, Jairo is very nice to listen to and it is so nice to see creatures other than those you see during the day.

Jairo explained the story of Tortuguero and then we went walking into the jungle. We saw frogs, reptiles, toucans, sloths... Very interesting

Truthfully without words!! Jairo welcomed us from the first minute in such a warm and friendly way 🥰. We did the night tour and the canoe tour that were amazing!! The passion that jaro has for nature and animals is admirable, in addition to his knowledge of all the species of animals that we cross and interesting data that make the tours something wonderful!! I definitely recommend the tours and especially that they be with Jairo.

Absolutely fantastic experience, not only did Jairo come to my hotel to pick me up in person before starting the tour and was courteous friendly and experienced but he accompanied me with the experiences of the following day, via WhatsApp support and even personally offered me the best experience I had the next day, in which I met other people and had a fantastic afternoon, I recommend 10/10

Very good guide. He explained and taught us a lot of turtle fauna apart from making it fun and enjoyable. He tried hard to find animals and insects and took care of us during the tour. Highly recommended!
