Private Bvi Boat Trip To The Baths Virgin Gorda

This was our worst day in St. Thomas by far. This excursion sounds fun - but the description of the day is NOT what it is. First, you are on a speed boat so everyone is sitting and unable to move around the 2 hour boat ride . Once you are at Virgin Gorda, you get on to a jeep to take you to the Baths. This is a short ride but the scenery is really depressing seeing how run down Virgin Gorda is . Once off the jeep, you walk down a hot dirty path for about 20 minutes and are at the beaches and the Baths. Unfortunately , we were there on the day of a cruise ship and the line was very long. We had to wait over 30 minutes in the hot sun to go through the Baths. It was rushed and no one was able to enjoy the beauty of these beautiful rock formations. It took about 10 minutes to walk the path and then it was over, and back up the hot dirty path to the jeep, to get back on the boat. NOT worth the trip. Everyone on the excursion was disappointed and did say they would not have gone and wasted their day had they known. SO , now you know.

Viator is the best! Our trip to the Virgin Baths was amazing and a must see for everyone at least once. The private boat to the baths was amazing, fast and relaxing. Our captain had everything planned out for taxi service at the baths and a return trip. Lines at the baths and the number of people at the beach was a bit much, but several ships were in port. If we were to do it again, I would have called our captain to have him pick us up sooner following our bath tour. Everything was awesome!

Raj did a wonderful job on our tour to the Baths. We were able to swim feom the boat to the beach and then he came back to pick us up.

Wonderful trip! Captain Raj is an incredible captain that knows the waters very well! He and Jolly were friendly and very knowledgeable of all the islands. The boat was great and very smooth. Would absolutely book with them again next time we come to BVI, next time for a full day! Thank you!!

Absolutely fantastic day! Both Raj and Joell were fantastic. Highly recommend! Took us for an incredible day of boating to several areas for snorkeling and places to stop for a drink and lunch. Great day in BVI!

The boat was great and the captain was cordial, but this was just a ride to virgin gorda and you jump in a van to the baths. Actually you could get a ferry to do this alot cheaper. The caves and baths were nice but a bit crowded.

We were disappointed in the quality of the boat. It was not as pictured. It is basically a water taxi and for the price of this tour not what you would expect. We were also disappointed with the level of customer service. While the boat driver and his assistant were nice this trip is not a guide who stays with you through your experience and helps you. We were extremely disappointed that they would not drop us at Virgin Gorda Baths on the beach side. They took us to another side of the island where we had to then take a 7 min taxi the top of the baths and hike down. Overall not worth the cost. Could have just taken a water taxi for much much less. We have done other excursions through Trip Advisor at this similar cost with very different level of experience.

Boat is in great condition and safe. Raj is awesome with a great playlist and helped us explore the entire island. We highly recommend.

Raj was an exceptional captain and took great care of us. He took us to the baths and then do a floating rum bar. The baths were beautiful, and we were very well taken care of by the company.

I must say that Raj is a great captain. Felt safe on the boat and he was very responsible. Smooth ride on a nice boat . Simple pickup and drop off service to VG.

Very friendly and communicative team of locals- we have done this trip on the ferry, but this was a nice more private way to do it. We got time at Devil’s Bay with no one else around - just our family. For my mobility limited 79 year old dad, this was a huge bonus. I also liked that we were working directly with - and tipping- locals, not expats from the US as we have experienced on other tours in the VI.

Our family had a great time and awesome experience on this excursion. Everything went perfect and the boat ride and the baths were absolutely beautiful!

We came in on our cruise and immediately were met on time by our host, Joel, and we were off--throught the back entrance of the port--it was a little sketchy looking, but I knew we were in good hands with Joel--he was super kind, professional and easy going. They were patient and very polite and checked on us on our bumpy ride out to The Baths and they arranged for our taxi transport up to the Park. The vessel was a clean, small open vessel for our small party of 6 so it was fine. We had free spft drinks, and water on board. We had to pay an entrance fee to get into the park--$3pp--so it was no big deal-but we thought it was included.--so be prepared. Once we bought tickets we received a briefing from the Park Ranger and we were off to follow the trail down which was marked, so it was super easy. I recommend you travel light with sneakers or snug fitting water shoes or like trex or tevas....would've been perfect for the hike down to the bath. There were rocky crevices to traverse and footbridge with ropes to navigate, so be ready, but it was all worth it when you got inside the rocky gaps and the pic opportunities were endless. When you finish the trail and baths it ends at a beach where we took a few mins to relax and grabbed a quick bite and drink from the food shack in the beach. It was a cash only place that had a few quick bar food type choices and cocktails--so take cash. The ride back was a little less rough and our captain spun our boat around so we could even get a great photo with our ship, Virgin Valiant Lady. We had a great time and it was absolutely worth the money and I highly recommend. 10/10

Took an early trip to the Baths from Tortola with our family of 5. Communication was great the day before we arrived so we knew exactly where to meet. Anthony and Rog were super friendly and had a cooler full of cold beverages for the trip! The boat ride was 20ish minutes and we were able to beat the huge crowd of people! Had an awesome time exploring the Baths and made it back to the ship around noon!

This was an amazing experience! We did the Baths a few years ago on our own, and we knew we didn’t want to do that again. When I found this, I was so excited. Rog, our boat captain was so helpful and friendly. He had a great playlist! 100% recommend this!

Our boat captain was awesome! We explored the baths and then he brought us around to the surrounding islands. We spent time snorkeling with sea turtles, exploring a sunken wreck, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend this tour

Although we have been to the BVI before we wanted to show two of the couples we were with two very different islands. Sure to sure created a custom tour of the islands for us. It was a seamless operation, and our captains were extremely friendly and hospitable. We had such an amazing time at the baths where they made sure we were safe by not swimming in the rough surf and then, taking an amazing ride across the channel to Jost For some delicious painkillers in white bay! Start to finish our favorite part of the entire week we spent there! Super professional and great communication!

Boat ride was great! Much needed break from the cruise ship! It was just our family of 5! Kids ages, 13-7. Baths was beautiful, but busy. Took a lot longer to get through the trail than anticipated. Just allow yourself enough time.

Had a great boat captain. And having the taxis all taken care of made things so easy. Highly recommend.
