We had an incredible sake tasting with Dan! He was extremely knowledgeable and did a fantastic job explaining the different styles, brewing methods, and history behind each sake without making it feel overwhelming. Since we were the only guests at the 12:00 p.m. tasting, it turned into a very personal and intimate experience where we could ask questions and really enjoy the conversation. The location itself was beautiful and added so much to the experience. If you're looking for an authentic, relaxed, and educational sake tasting, we highly recommend booking with Dan. This is a great way to learn about saki and to meet people who are visiting Tokyo. The host was wonderful and knowledgeable. And the saki was delicious. I learned a lot (and I've been drinking saki for years). Thank you!
Meeting up with our host was easy, instructions were clear and they responded to our messages immediately. After meetup, we went to their office which was very close to the meetup point. The office was clean and everything was already prepared when we arrived. We have tasted 24 different sakes from all around Japan. Our host was really nice and explained each sake's particular differences in detail, which helped us to find out which type of sake is our favourite. If you are interested in sake, we definitely recommend this experience. If you decide to participate, make sure you eat properly and have your return planned beforehand.
We tasted a lot of sakes and they wereall delicious. You can also buy bottles of ones you like on the spot. Our host made us comfortable and explained a lot of stuff about sakes.

Suemi is an amazing host!! So knowledgeable and fun to be around. When she says unlimited sake tasting, she means unlimited! It was so unlike any other tastings we've done, which are usually something like 3-5 options. With Suemi, we tried nearly 20 types of sake! She did a great job of teaching about the sake production process, the different classifications, and what it means for sake to be dry vs. sweet. I definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn more about sake while also having a great time!
We had the best time with Dan! We booked the sake tasting our first night in Japan and enjoyed it so much we also booked the bar crawl with Dan a few days later! This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! We made some core memories that we will never forget and met some of the best people!

This was not only incredibly fun, but also very educational. The host was knowledgeable about the history of sake, how it's made and the different types. And the tasting was stellar! They provided small plates and a little bit of snack snacks but if you are susceptible to alcohol, you might want to eat a little bit before you get there. Definitely a good amount of tasting, but not enough to make us intoxicated. Great conversation and really fun with the guys.
We had such an incredible time with our host, not only trying and learning about incredible sake, but also talking about the culture and Japan overall. Really had a great afternoon. I was lucky to have a private sake tasting, luckily I was able to get through all 30, Dan was the best guide, he showed me a great range of sake from all over Japan and I was more knowledgeable for it
We loved our sake tasting! There were only 5 of us total on the tour, so it was very intimate. Dan was super knowledgeable and fun. He even gave us restaurant and bar recommendations for after the tasting. And, of course, the sakes were delicious. We tasted two at a time, side-by-side to compare, and chose our favorites to have again, if we wanted to. 10 out of 10!
