Our guide Karina was very friendly and informative! The food was great and she knew a lot.
Had a wonderful time. Masa was knowledgeable and kind
We didn’t have anyone else in the group so private tour! Flexible to buy which things you want, one person doesn’t eat fish so tour guide found her alternatives like mochi! Super nice great conversation. Even stood in line for us while we shopped to get us good snacks. Nice local experience for lunch. Worth it!
The Tsuji food tour was a delight with Masa my tour guide. Luckily I had a private tour because I was alone. After meeting him in front of the temple he explained the history of the temple and we made a quick visit. Then we visited the robust Tsukiji fish and food market. As we walked around, we sampled food from the vendors as he explained the variety of displays. It was fun tasting the variety of delicious foods, that I purchased some along the way. We also visited a knife and kitchenware store that had a variety of items that I could not buy in the USA; so I purchased an authentic Japanese Santoku knife and other kitchenware. While in the Tsukiji market area, we ended with a nice fresh fish rice bowl for lunch. We also visited another shrine and a lookout in a tall bldg with a view of Tokyo. I would totally recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in tasting fresh Japanese fish and other authentic foods. You can get an idea of what foods you ate in case you would like to return for more or to try others. It was a great introduction to many Japanese foods with a very kind and knowledgeable tour guide. I would go again. Thank you Masa.
Guide was friendly, enthusiastic and knowlegable. Guide provided history of temple and shrine and market. We had samples of daifuku and unagi sticks- both delicious. All were satisfied with our sashimi lunches.
My husband and I met Masa, our tour guide and spent a delightful morning with him. We were the only ones on the tour and it was very personalised. Masa was very informative and guided us well ending in a lovely lunch in a little restaurant we would never have known was there. Thank you Masa.
We started on time, it was just my husband and I so it felt like a private tour. Yuka took us to the Tsukiji Temple and then to the fish market. Fish market was busy and it had so many options of types of food to try. Yuka made us try multiple types of snacks and made recommendations of other things we could try later on. Then we had a sit down lunch and we ate a rice bowl with different types of fresh fish in it. We had interesting conversations about how japanese people live in the city and we exchanged similarities and differences between our cultures. Yuka was very nice and we enjoyed our tour very much.
I joined the Tsukiji Fish Market Culture Walking and Food Tour, and it turned out I was the only guest that day. My guide, Inoki, did an excellent job showing me around. I tried delicious foods like tuna on a skewer, eel, and more, followed by a tasty lunch. We also visited the beautiful Tsukiji Hongan-ji Temple, explored local shops, and learned a lot about the market’s history. At the end of the tour, Inoki took me to an observation tower with a great view of Tokyo and shared the story of how the market was relocated. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Inoki!

INok and his team are simply amazing! In fact, we loved our first tour with iNok so much that we booked a second tour two days later! His tour not only provides the great information on the sites we saw, but he also helped guide us for other experiences we were interested in while in Japan. He went way above and beyond to make the experience so personalized—even for my two teenagers. He really customized the tour based on what they were interested in. I would HIGHLY recommend him and his tour company!
We had the absolute best time on our Tsukiji market tour. The food was delicious and all the street food spots and the lunch were excellent. It was great that it included some extras in the local area too such as a visit to a local shrine and a trip to the top of a skyscraper for a view of the area. Our guide was Hitomi who was, honestly, the best guide we've ever had on a food tour. She was lovely and very knowledgeable with excellent English and tailored the tour to our wishes. Arigatou gozaimasu to Fantasy Travel and Hitomi for a wonderful experience we will treasure!

Hitomi was very knowledgeable and professional, speak fluent English, we tried all the best spots in the market and had great experience over all, very recommended
Ikot was wonderful and very knowledgeable, had great English so communication was easy with him! Took us to some local spots, off the tourist path which we appreciated! Thank you…Arigato!!
The guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. You see a nice sample of local cuisine and traditional products
It was one the best food tours I’ve had in Japan. Inok is a terrific guide and we had plenty samples to fill you up not including a lunch after. Loved it!
Probably one of the best food tours I’ve taken in Tokyo. The guide by name iNok is very good guy and is very knowelegable about this place and the food in general. No wonder as he has his own YouTube channel called Food in Japan. Check him out. The tour offers a unique look into the famous fish market with plenty of food to taste and a vey good lunch options. INok is vey friendly and with a great smile and a sense of humor. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you inok, Vlad L.
There were just 3 in our group, plus our guide iNok. We had a great time! iNok was very informative about the fish market and plenty of other things Japanese. He cheerfully answered our questions as he guided us through the outer fish market. We sampled various stall food enroute and ended with a delicious seafood lunch at a back street restaurant, which was delicious. To end with, iNok took us up to the 47th floor of a nearby building to view the now defunct site of the old fish market. Thoroughly recommended 😃
iNok was great—knowledgeable and friendly and we ate some great food! Good company and also gave some good tips for other things to do (and eat) in and around Tokyo
As a foreigner living in Tokyo for more than 30 years, I learned a lot abut Tsukiji. from INok. Both my friend and I had a great time!
INok is an excellent tour guide. We had so much food to try and many choices. Also his knowledge of the shrines was very good. Would recommend this tour to everyone.
Met up with iNok from Fantasy Travel in front of the Tsukiji Hongwan-j Temple and learned a little about it before heading off to the fish market. We walked around the outer circle sampling foods and looking at all the amazing things to buy. After that he took us through market where you can purchase fish to take home and prepare yourself. We then went to a restaurant where we ordered a sit down sushi lunch 😋. Our last stop was walking to the the Shiodome Tower. From the top floor we were able to look across the harbor to the new commercial fish market below. It’s an excellent tour and I would highly recommend it for seafood lovers visiting Tokyo!
iNok was a great tour guide. The walking tour is a decent length of walking for anyone that doesnt walk frequently. I do so i enjoyed it. We stopped at multiple stops walking through the fish market and tasting the goodness then lunch. Dont eat heavy prior. Or just eat light.
The fish market tour was amazing - INok took really good care of us and his knowledge and passion for Japanese food really shows. He answered all of our questions and took us to see some amazing food and history of the fish market. Totally recommend this tour 10/10
We really enjoyed our tour with INok, he’s got great energy and enthusiasm for food and made us feel as ease straight away. There was no rush and he answered all of our questions. The food we were given was all very tasty and there was a good variety of different things. The lunch was also great, sat in a booth the conversation flowed very easily and it was amazing to hear about the history of the places we had been and were going to. I would recommend this tour to anyone who likes Japanese food and wants to learn more, as well as tasting some of the freshest and most delicious seafood!
We met Hana at the designated location and she had our names written on a sign. It was nice that the tour was only my husband and I so we had Hana’s undivided attention. She was thorough in giving us some is the history of the temple as well as the market. We weren’t sure how the tour was structured but Hana took us to different vendor spots and paid for the treats as it was part of the tour. Then we had lunch in a nice air-conditioned booth so that was a bonus since the August heat can feel exhausting. We ended the tour with a walk to a nearby building to catch the view from up top.
Great Food Tour to the Tsukiji fish market and local sites, Inok was a great guide with great knowledge and very personable. Nice variety of different foods and neat little shops.
Very interesting tour for opening one’s eyes to the wide range of Japanese food from the raw materials to cooking utensils, and trying out the finished product. The guide iNok was amazing - engaging and very knowledgeable!
My son and I had a wonderful tour through the Tsukiji markets with our guide INok. The meeting point was easily accessible and the tour provided a quick easy insight into the markets, different foods and local culture including the local Buddhist Temple. The tastings along the way and the lunchtime meal were just perfect. INok is easy to talk to on lots of topics and a real “foodie”. Along the way he takes a few photos of you which he shares with you at the end. He even helped us book our train ticket back to our hotel. The tour ends with a view from the 46 th floor of the Shiodome. Even though it was raining it was still a special sight. Once you’ve done the tour you would have gained better insight if you choose to go again on your own. Definitely recommended and thoroughly enjoyable.
The food tour was a good introduction to Japanese ingredients and speciality foods. Inok was an informative tour guide, answering all of our questions as we walked around the Tsukiji market area. The food we sampled was tasty and we had opportunities to choose several options. Highly recommend.
Great experience. Lots of info about the markets and the shrines. Enjoyed the food and the lunch. Very informative guide.
trip was full of information and great snacks throughout. guide was great and very good english not too much walking and enjoyed great weather
The fish market aisles are narrow and crowded, so it would be hard to navigate and understand the various offerings without a guide. This tour offers good value given Inok’s knowledge and all of the tastings along the way. I definitely recommend it.
Inok was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We recommend booking a tour with him. We did the Tsukiji Market tour.
Excellent, Inok was our guide, great guy, very informative, enjoyable experience. He made sure each person had a great day.
This was an incredible and worthwhile experience. We learned so much from our tour guide, Inok, about the fish market and surrounding areas. Inok was very knowledgeable and well-spoken in English. It was a great benefit to have no problems with communication. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone interested in exploring the Tsukiji Market and surrounding area.
It was a very fun experience. The guide was very kind and friendly, so Ir made it very easy. We got good explanations. Great experience overall!
