Tokyo: Shinjuku Local Bar & Izakaya Crawl Tour

Erika was very pleasurable to speak with. Very informative and provided little tidbits during our walk. Would highly recommend to those who want to experience the Izakaya’s in Tokyo! Just make sure you come hungry. The food Options were filling

It was a great experience, I did have an allergy (Coeliac) and ate before I came but all the drinks had gluten-free options. It was also great to meet other people travelling and hearing what they got up to. Also it was great to hear more about the history of the streets we had been walking through.

Ok so we go on pub crawls in every country we visit. I must say this one was one of the poorest handled one. The guide had a WhatsApp group and only added 3 of the 13 people in our group. Not once was there a mention of food being included. There was no indication of whome we were going to meet. We didnt even have a name or if it was a female or a male guide. I found that there was too much talking about all the sights and things to see. The last bar was so unorganized.

This was so much fun. We might people from all over the globe and another couple from the states. This was on our second night so it was great introduction to the Shinjuku area. The meet-up place was a little hard to find. We had to ask a waitress from another restaurant to lead us to the spot. Once we found the group, we have a fabulous time. Everyone was so friendly and the guide kept the conversation light and fun while explaining some of the highlights of Shinjuku. We had so much fun that we kept the night going at a karaoke bar! We even sang with some locals. Definitely worth the money if you want a fun night out.

Our guide Tomo and Ayumi were excellent from the very beginning to the very end. We would have never experienced all the variety of bars/restaurants/karaoke on our own.. We felt safe and confident during the entire tour. We also had some history behind all areas we had experienced as well as all questions we had (even questions to help us with other aspects of our vacation in Japan. Thank You.
