Itinerary
Traditional Japanese village located in Fujikawaguchiko Town, known as the most beautiful village in Japan, a picturesque spot with Mt. Fuji in the background. Destroyed by a landslide during a typhoon in 1966, it was reconstructed and reopened as an open-air museum and traditional craft village in 2006. Stroll through this ancient village, and marvel at the unique "armor structure" houses created by the villagers to resist the severe winter snow. Take a closer look at the thatched roofs and experience its livable characteristics of being warm in winter and cool in summer. Standing at the viewing point, overlooking Mount Fuji in the distance, the mountain peak and the roof complement each other, forming a beautiful picture.
Lake Kawaguchi is known as the shining pearl of the five lakes of Fuji, its intricate shoreline offers numerous vantage points to admire Mt. Fuji. Ten thousand years ago, a spectacular eruption of Mount Fuji created this stunning picture of lake and mountain. Stroll along its shores with Mt. Fuji in the background, a serene and awe-inspiring atmosphere, and enjoy the beautiful reflection of Mt. Fuji in the clear water.
Oishi Park, nature's palette, is famous for its seasonal beautiful and vibrant flower displays. Whether it is cherry blossoms, lavender, red leaves, kochia, or snow and reeds, the seasons change the beauty is breathtaking. You can capture beauty photos with Lake Kawaguchi, seasonal flowers, and Mt. Fuji in the background.
On the second floor of the Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center, you will find a unique perspective where you can easily capture the magnificent picture of the red torii blending with Mount Fuji.
Famous park in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. It's known as one of the 21 places photographers from all over the world must visit in their lives. The Chureito Pagoda is a five-storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji. To reach the pagoda, visitors must climb the staircase of nearly 400 steps, the view from the top is considered one of the best in Japan.
Built in 705 and has a history of more than 1,300 years. It is a holy place to pray for well-being and family happiness. In 807, Mount Fuji erupted on a large scale, and society fell into panic. The shrine held a grand Mount Fuji Fire Control Ceremony, praying for peace and prosperity for the country and the return of Mount Fuji to tranquility.
Oshino Hakkai is a World Heritage Site with eight clear springs formed by the snow melt of Mt. Fuji, known as one of the "100 Famous Waters of Japan". Taste the magical spring water for free, feel its sweetness and purity, and experience the legend of longevity. Enjoy a stroll through the village, stunning views of Mount Fuji, and a glimpse into Japan's traditional rural life. Taste Japanese traditional food & desserts, like udon, soba noodles, Kusamochi, and Kushidango.

We have enjoyed our day and have visited amazing sites. Definitely recommend this tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and lovely.
A very enjoyable day! Each of the attractions has something different. The views from the top of Mt. Fuji on the last stop are well worth the hike to the top. The guide Belle was very good and full of energy!
We had a marvelous time during this trip. Our tour guide Christy was the best! She told us a few stories and made our day enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is considering going to Mt. Fuji.
Was a good tour, unfortunately weather was awful and nothing you can do about that. Our guide Zoe and driver Lee were fantastic.
Had Omar as our guide today. Very friendly and organised and kept us all to time. We lucked out with the weather…beautiful blue skies and magnificent views of Fuji. However this and the Sakura brought lots of others too so as with many places at this time of year expect the crowds and queues and find little places to escape and take a breath.
Everything was well organised from the very beginning to the end of remarkable trip. The tour guide Zoe is a library on Legs in regards of history and geography of the country. The astonishing scenery makes it an unforgettable experience. Thank You.
An important note - this vendor gives you a chance to reschedule/cancel with a couple days' notice if the weather is poor. You've got about a 50% chance of seeing Mt. Fuji on any given day, so take advantage of this. We knew it was going to rain, and chose to go anyway because I wanted to see the area. I've got mixed feelings on this decision. The traditional village with the craftspeople is neat. The lake and the springs are less interesting; there's almost nothing to do besides wander the enormous gift shops and buy snacks. (They mostly have the same gifts and snacks.) The pagoda/shrine is very pretty and has a nice view, but minus Mt. Fuji, is no more interesting than any of the shrines and pagodas you're likely to have seen in Tokyo and Kyoto. There's a stop for lunch that you pay for on your own; if you choose to get the lunch, it's extremely well-organized and quite tasty (and includes a vegetarian option). If you don't...I dunno what you do with that hour. I'd recommend getting the lunch. The guide was mostly focused on logistics; I'd kind of hoped for some more history/culture/background info, but it wasn't really that kind of tour. We had a nice time and it was nice to see some of Japan outside the cities. They did their best to make it interesting regardless of the weather, and it's entirely on us for deciding to go despite the predicted rain. I'm not sure it's worth the full day without actually seeing Mt. Fuji, though, so keep an eye on those weather predictions.
Betty was funny and gave good tips on visiting the spots. The ride was smooth and the pacing was okay.
Our tour guide was excellent. She was well prepared, organized and gave us excellent recommmendations.
Good itinerary, excellent guide Kevin and the driver. The historical information given by the guide made the tour more interesting.
Tour guide Kevin was organized, friendly, and energetic - highly recommend. For those considering this tour, note that Mt Fuji is notoriously unpredictable for visibility. On this overcast day, our group saw nothing of the mountain in the distance. Aside from that - which is a big issue in expectation - the tour was good. Did feel dangerously close to just a round of tourist shopping, but the beauty of Oshino and Orishi in particular were highlights. Note, this did not stop at the Natural Center nor the shrine as described, and the ‘visit’ to the lake was just a driveby along the shore very quickly. It was a long day even with those changes (which also weren’t explained).
Even though we did not see mmm. Fuji due to low clouds. It was a scenic tour and our guide was wonderful.
Nice guide, good experience especially if the weather is good, but pretty short time for 4 activities.
The tour guide Yulina was very good. Good information shared and teaching about Japanese words related to area we are visiting. The itinerary was good but another 30 min on each spot might have been better. Wish weather had cooperated for the much awaited viewing of Mt.Fuji. It would have been an unforgettable tour with lots of picture perfect moments, had Mt. Fuji appeared.
mrs yuan, the tour guide is very lovely and the trip was all around very enjoyable! she doesn't tour every spot, you are free to explore but that was not an issue :)
Highly recommend this tour! The experience of the whole trip was great! Andrew our tour guide is very informative and knowledgeable, he told us clearly and in detail what each location was about, interesting information and was very clear about pickup time and locations. We’re so glad we booked this trip to Mt. Fuji.
Great day exploring the different views of Mt. Fuji, with so many magnificent sights to enjoy. We met lovely people and had a fantastic time. The bus was comfortable, and our guide, Maddy, was knowledgeable and entertaining, which helped make the tour enjoyable.
Dennis was a super good guide with a lot of knowledge and who did his best so that participants would have the best possible time; he has recently started working as a guide, but it felt as if he had been doing it for years. You have to be very lucky to see Mount Fuji itself, but otherwise it was a very nice trip in a very beautiful environment.
Very nice trip especially with the autumn colors. Value for money. Good guide for a full-day excursion.
Kevin went to a lot of trouble with lots of details and travel tips for afterwards the program itself was also good.
Tour goes through 3 places that are frequently visited by many coaches and actually run purely on tourism. Not very authentic.
She guides it very well but the itinerary I do not see interesting. What most people wanted to visit is the pagoda. This hotspot was left until the end of the day when the weather had already worsened. First thing would have been better, with better weather and leave other stops for other times. We ended up going free the next day
Demasiada gente.
