We only paid $8 USD but honestly that money would be better spent buying a matcha latte elsewhere. It was not really a matcha latte, it was more like matcha milk because the ratio of milk to matcha was really off. I am from the States and I thought maybe we were just used to matcha lattes being a lot stronger but I think the class’s ratio was just off because I’ve gone to matcha cafes in Tokyo and they taste like the ones I’m used to. Also, the ratio the instructor told us we were using didn’t even match what was on the PowerPoint she shared. The class was also only 30 mins so not the best experience. I’d pass on this one.

We had an amazing matcha making experience with Kody. He taught us the history and making of traditional matcha and its evolution in our current climate. He was extremely helpful with all our questions and provided the perfect experience

Kody was a great host. He taught a lot. He was very friendly and nice and spoke excellent English. He gives information and background then you compare matcha and he teaches how to properly make and drink it. At the end you can buy matcha powder or get a matcha alcoholic drink or latte. Very fun and great for price. A little hard to find the location.

Very interesting workshop. Kota is a very knowledgable guy. He speaks very well English, has a good sense of humour and is interested in the participants. He takes time to listen and his presentation is very clear. The whole experience took about 1,5 hours.
