What a great way to experience Tokyo! The Ginza Food Tour was a fantastic opportunity to explore the local food scene and enjoy some delicious Japanese cuisine. Visiting three different eateries gave us a chance to experience a variety of flavors and get a better feel for the area’s food culture. One of the best parts was getting away from the typical tourist experience and discovering places we might not have found on our own. The atmosphere, food, and overall experience made for a really enjoyable evening. If you’re visiting Tokyo and love trying local food, I highly recommend this tour. It’s a fun way to explore Ginza, experience Japanese culture, and enjoy some great food along the way!

Exciting and fun, lots of information and the sharing of good food‼️
Not worthy for 150 dollars per person: you will be better off to find good place via google reviews. No bath room break to wash your hands. Thought Japanese small alley tours instead of subway station, electronics shop. The guide, Hoshi does not interact with everyone in the tour. I have done various food tours around the globe, this was not worthy. At the end of tour, we were forced to leave good reviews on trip advisor and google reviews and he wanted to check whether it was done, which was crazy.
So much food! Thanks Hoshi you were an awesome guide.
Blake was an incredible guide. We had a lot of food variety, all very tasty. Highly recommended!
Joshi was the bomb! Excellent experience and personality! Absolutely worth it!
Hoshi was a wonderful host! He was very informative and taught us a lot about the food on the door and the history of the food. We had excellent conversation and learned a lot during our time with him!
Hoshi was a great tour guide! I enjoyed my time :)
Hoshi was amazing! He was such a funny, personable, and helpful guide with an answer to every question that we had for him. Food was amazing, ranging from some of the freshest sushi around to tempura. 100% recommend this, you won’t be disappointed!
We had the best experience with Hoshi. Very informative and helpful. Made it personal to us. Beautiful food in places we would have never been to! Learnt a lot, ate a lot, laughed a lot
Hoshi was very kind and knew a lot of knowledge about the food.
Great experience with Hoshi on the Ginza food tour.
Hoshi is awesome, what a great guide to the hidden gems in Ginza!
Great experience with our tour guide, Hoshi. He is knowledgeable food origin and Japanese authenticity from sake, sushi, pancake, and ending up my favorite tempura. The fact that he showed us places that we would not normally eat at and customize to our the needs of in dietary restrictions. Thank you Hoshi for a fantastic adventure in food!
The 3 stops offered plenty, plenty of food and these locations would not be easily found by a tourist. The tour lasted a little over 3 hours and we tried very traditional foods like sushi, okonomyaki (and other Japanese omelets). We appreciated good communication from our tour guide, Hoshi. One note of improvement would be to offer a bit more history of Japanese cuisine.
Our tour guide Hoshi was great, informative and friendly. He brought us to excellent restaurants with authentic delicious Japanese food.
Hoshi is a fantastic guide, great eatery selections and great with conversation.
Hoshi did a great job showing us good places to eat

Hoshi was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and took us to restaurants we would have never found in our own. We will do the tour again.
What an amazing experience! Hoshi was an excellent guide who took us to great restaurants I would have been too nervous to try without an experienced guide.
We have been on 30 food tours and Hoshi was the best guide we have had. The restaurant choices were so creative and delicious! Thank you Hoshi!
Wonderful experience. Cooking was fun and the resulting food delicious and abundant. This is a not-to-miss event.
Hioshi was an excellent guide. He selected a wonderful choice of foods that exceeded our expectations and met our dietary constraints. We enjoyed both food and his conversation.
A great experience in authentic, local Japanese restaurants. Hoshi was an excellent guide who gave us lots of tips on Japanese culture, etiquette and local knowledge. A small group tour with great company made it a very enjoyable night. We loved it, thank you Hoshi!
Great food, great tour with Hoshi! Love it
It was such a privilege to be guided to some interesting restaurants by Hoshi , our guide. The food and drink was varied and delicious. Hoshi gave us much background on the foods we were served and Japanese food etiquette. One tip. Start the tour with an empty stomach. You’ll get a lot of different foods that are hard to resist.
Thank you very much Hoshi for this interesting experience! 🙏 I can absolutely recommend this tour!!
We had a great evening with Hoshi, The food was delicious at all three restaurants and Hoshi was very knowledgeable and explained about each dish at each restaurant, Hoshi was very accommodating to the tour participants. He was friendly and made sure everyone enjoyed the evening,
Hoshi is an amazing guide and brought us to three local restaurants that we would have never found ourselves and ordered the best food and drinks from the menu and also discussed individual recommendations with the waiters. We tried different kind of sushi, okonomiyaki, tempura and soba and had a really wonderful japanese food experience. Thank you Hoshi for the great evening!
Hoshi was great company, delicious food and enjoyed the whole evening very much. Highly recommend this tour.

We had our tour led by Hoshi and it was an amazing experience. He was very funny and friendly and the food was very good. I definitely recommend Hoshi as a tour guide for a most unique experience.
Doren was absolutely amazing. One of the best food tours and greatest conversationalists I’ve talked to. Would absolutely recommend this company and doren if you can get him 11/10
I want to share my experience of the Ginza food tour, which was absolutely amazing. Doren, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the local cuisine. Throughout the tour, we sampled a variety of delicious dishes that truly showcased the flavours of the area. Doren provided insightful background on each dish and its cultural significance, making the experience not only tasty but also educational. I highly recommend this food tour to anyone looking to explore the culinary delights of Ginza.
Kay our guide was very engaging and looked after us extremely well. One rude staff member at second restaurant took the shine of that stop. Overall a pleasant night. Ron & Jo.
My wife and I did this experience last night. Our guide Kay was amazing. We went to restaurants that were hidden or unusual locations, we could have never found these ourselves. The food was absolutely amazing and we felt that we got to experience a good range of different foods. We cannot recommend this or our guide Kay enough. It was like going out for dinner with a friend!!. We highly recommend this experience.
Doren was friendly and full of knowledge. The three restaurants he picked were delicious, centrally located, and fun. Highly recommend.
We had Doren for this tour. A good guy, who formerly lived in the United States, with great willingness to answer any and all questions about the culture and places to go and things to do. He took us under the train tracks in Yurakucho to see a very charming stretch of restaurants, one of which we ate at, which is highly recommended and may not be known to many tourists. An enjoyable tour folks.
Doren is a wonderful food tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable about Japan and Japanese culture and food. If you’re looking for someone to show you true Japanese cuisine Doren is your guide.
Fun night out!!! Great food and great company. Come hungry, leave very full. Highly recommend this tour!
They canceled the day before once we were already here- that’s just very difficult when you plan a trip around it and you don’t have enough time to make new plans.
We felt like a local, going to restaurants we would never have found ourselves. The guide was awesome and gave us insight to food, living in Japan and cultural tips. Besides all of that, the food was awesome.
Tons of skewers to try. We had yakitori, which is grilled chicken. Some of them included non meat items too like green onion, tomato, and mushrooms.
A slow but very enjoyable evening. The guide was from the States, but was really knowledgeable and taught me many things about Japanese culture.
An excellent authentic food experience. This was the type of thing I wanted to have while in Japan. Great Japanese alcohol and food next to tables of Japanese people letting loose after their days work.
