Tokyo: 1-day Mount Fuji & Kawaguchiko Tour, Optional Cruise

I would give this zero stars if I could. Booked this for my 65 year old mum. Before lunch they dropped her at the bus stop and told her someone would come to take her to lunch and then to Lake Kawaguchi. My mum sat in the cold rain for FOUR HOURS AT A BUS STOP!!! Because no one showed up for her. She has a bad ankle and couldn’t walk the 15 minutes up and down hills to the lake which is why we booked her a driving tour. She missed going to the lake which was a key stop on the tour. Not only that, she didn’t eat the WHOLE DAY. The other people on the bus not only got taken to lunch, they also got taken to the lake to enjoy their free time. Imagine how angry I am as her daughter to hear she was treated this way. They provided a partial refund because a full refund was too much apparently. I guess they need the $60 badly!! The greed is astounding. Limon, you should be ashamed. What a horrible experience and waste of a day. Save yourself and book another company.

I went on this tour with my sister and nephew on Sep 15, 2026. It was a great way to start our trip. Our guide Yoichi provided us information about Mt. Fuji and explained the itinerary really well. He was wonderful. I will definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Tokyo.

With heavy rain all day and dense fog, it would be impossible to view Mount Fuji or experience any of a day long trip. We cancelled in taxi on the way to bus meeting. No refund.

We had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed this tour. Everything was very well organized, and the transportation was fast and comfortable. Our guide was absolutely amazing - such a kind and friendly woman. She explained everything clearly, was incredibly helpful throughout the day, and made the whole trip even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, we weren’t lucky enough to see Mt. Fuji because of the weather, but that’s just another reason for us to come back again! The itinerary was excellent, the price was very reasonable, and we especially appreciated having plenty of free time at each stop instead of feeling rushed. Overall, we highly recommend this tour. If you’re thinking about booking it, don’t hesitate - it’s definitely worth it!

The guide was excellent. She was very polite and friendly and she tried her best to accommodate everyone. The meet up location was a little hard to find so allocate lots of time prior to departure to find the spot. The lady from the WhatsApp number was extremely helpful as well , it was an amazing experience.

I had an amazing experience on the Mount Fuji tour today! First of all, a huge thank you to our guide, Mayumi. She was absolutely fantastic! She was very friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the whole tour. Mayumi explained everything clearly, shared lots of interesting and useful information, and was always nearby whenever we had a question or needed help. She really made the whole experience much more enjoyable and comfortable. She is truly a top-class guide! The tour itself was also great. We visited many beautiful and interesting places around Mount Fuji, and everything was well organized. There was enough time to enjoy the views, take photos, and learn more about the area. The itinerary was very enjoyable, and we got to see some really memorable spots. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Japan and wanting to see Mount Fuji. And if you are lucky enough to have Mayumi as your guide, you are in for a great experience!

I had a fantastic experience with Mayumi. She guided me very well and showed me all the places on the plan. I was the only person booked for the trip and I was alone on the bus. I highly recommend everyone to join this experience.

Had a fantastic tour of Mount Fuji and its surrounding area. The weather was not that supporting but we got the glimpse of the Fuji finally at the world heritage center. Mayumi our tour guide was friendly and guided us well during the tour

Ms. Mayumi very helpful, informative and discipline with members are being late (inform them with politely). I like this tour on time. Just suggestion In the lake Kawaguchi just make 2-3 hours activities instead of 4 hours. Include riding boat, walking around, having lunch and shopping because sky train still under maintenance. Overall tour today was so interesting and I was satisfied.

At the end of our tour we went to the Fujisan World Heritage Center and we went to the observatory and we finally see Mount Fuji at the observatory. Why because all the other places we went were to cloudy but at the observatory we could see it Mount Fuji.

A great way to see Mt Fuji! We did the boat tour option and had a great time cruising lake Kawaguchiko and walking the waters edge afterwards. Mayumi was a fanatic and knowledgeable guide, pointing out all the best spots to stop and grab a snack or souvenir!

Mr. Yoichi is a very responsible and kind tour guide. Even though the tour only had me and my friend, he was still incredibly enthusiastic and explained every spot in detail for us. Overall a very organized tour and a great experience.Guide was very informative and helpful. Have clear instructions. Food was a disappointment for us as it was a lavish buffet but very very limited veg options as we don't have meat, fish, chicken and eggs. I thought I had mentioned this while booking but nevertheless the operator should consider in future. Also the trip is actually not a full day trip as we leave Mt Fuji by 345. We reach only at 1.

Even though we didn't get to see much with the rain, Mayumi was so kind and took us to see as much as we could. Wish we could have spent a little more time at the amazing visitor center museum, but otherwise was great!

The landspace and nature was very nice. I would prefer a little more information from the places we visit or energy from the guide. Maybe it is just in the Japanese culture that they dont talk very much.
