Tokyo Wagyu & Sake Pairing Tasting Experience With Local Flavors

Totally worth it, was one of the highlights of our trip. The beef was delicious and the staff were super friendly. Ambiance was also incredible. Overall experience was 10/10.

This was one of the highights of our visit to Japan, the experience was set in a very relaxed and cosy restaurant, the staff were knowledgable, attentive and friendly. The range of sake was impressive and the food was delicious. The other guests were lively and engaging (especially the Irish newlyweds) which was the icing on the cake.

It's amazing! The Chef was so good. The variety and type of wagyu was incredible, so delicious. Also, the variety of Sake was indeed great !!! Couldn't remember how many types we ate but I do remember that I could not rank them and after every item, I got confused to pick the best out if them. It was definitely worth it.

This was my first introduction to wagu and it was the high light of my trip it was my last night in tokyo tucked away down a very quiet street but under the lights of the Tokyo sky deck.The restrains was small but so prefect each serve was perfectly match with sake all prept and cooked right in front of you and each bite was like taste of heaven can not recommend this experience enough l would happily go back again to taste what was perfection.

This was an incredible experience, and my wife and I absolutely loved it. With only six people in our group, it felt intimate and exclusive, making the entire evening even more special. The food was phenomenal—honestly the best meat I’ve ever tasted—and the sake pairings for each course were perfectly chosen and delicious. We enjoyed every moment and are already looking forward to doing it again on our next trip to Japan!

Do NOT be deceived by the understated venue. The dining area is intimate and the staff is top notch. You will be educated about the different cuts and sake. The award winning Wagyu is heavenly. I’d give it a ten if possible.

So wonderful! A hidden gem, this tiny restaurant event is offered in the back of the small hotel bar. You’d never know it existed! Mouth-watering Wagyu dishes and excellent Sake. So fun! Very intimate!

This was absolutely the best food tour I have taken. That description does not do this experience justice. The meat melts in your mouth and the different flavors are mind melting. I would fly back to Japan again just for this. Absolute must on any visit to Japan.

What truly stood out was their thoughtful accommodation of my soy allergy — they went above and beyond to ensure my meal was safe and just as delicious. This was one of the most amazing dining experiences in our entire time in Tokyo! Entertaining, informative and incredibly delicious. If this were a traditional restaurant, it would certainly qualify for a Michelin star! Spectacular!

It was and inviting and intimate experience. Was great for a solo traveler who was not the only solo traveler in the experience. The chef was excellent and the host/translator was spot on in every way. Great food and vivacious group of people to meet and speak to from around the World.

An excellent pairing of wagyu beef and sake. Every course is delicately prepared and absolutely delicious. It's amazing just how many varied dishes can be prepared from wagyu beef! The quality of the sake was excellent and offers a range of different types. I still think about this dinner weeks later!

Everything was perfect. The set up, the preparation, the wagyu, the sake, and the presentation. You don’t want to miss this experience.

Enthusiastic and engaging presenter, food was delicious, prepared quite traditionally but the simple elegance lets you fully experience the waygu itself. There was a good variety of sakes and the one they make themselves (which was given as a welcome drink) was particularly good. Overall it is an expensive choice but it was well worth the money for the probably the best beef you might ever eat, sake and experience.

I was looking forward to this experience given all of the five star reviews, unfortunately I did not have the same experience as others have. For starters when you walk in there is a small bar and behind the bar is a separate room where the food is prepped and cooked. We unfortunately were seated at the bar away from everyone else even though we were the first to arrive. It took away from the experience as we were looking forward to meeting new people and chatting. The chef which is featured in the booking pictures was very moody and condescending when talking to us. We were not rude and never gave him a reason to treat us so rudely. He cooked the first dish and when everyone seated at the table showed up he left to cook for them and never returned. The other two Japanese employees would come out and cook or just serve us the food and explained with the minimal English they knew about the food we were about to eat. They were at least friendly. I would not recommend this location especially if you want to just sit at a small bar. For the price I paid I could get better service in America and have an overall better experience.

This was an intimate and amazing experience. Group size was small enough that we could converse with everyone. Filling and informative. I would book again. The tasting was well paired

This is the most amazing experience! Mike, the guide is such a friendly and welcoming face and gave us so much great information about both wagyu and sake. The pairings were elite, the venue beautiful and some nice old school hip hop playing in the background while indulging in these AMAZING dishes and drinks. Reading the previous reviews, our expectations were through the roof, but those expectations seemed like nothing compared to what we actually experienced. This is a 10/10, even more so! It will be our top 1 recommendation for anyone going to Tokyo in the future ❤️

Chef Mike was very personable and informative with respect to all of the dishes. He did a superb job of putting together several different versions of the beef and each of them was quite delicious. strongly Recommend.

Was a great experience. Food was amazing and sake was great too (I had never had sake and was surprised how good it actually is). Only downside is that it ended. Could have kept going and would have preferred bigger portions but it's all part of the experience.

The service here was 10/10. Very accommodating and hospitable. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The small group setting also made it more cozy and intimate. You really get to enjoy the experience with people you’ve most likely just met. Food was great, and sake was good. Only thing I would like to know is what the first sake was called (the one that’s suppose to sneak up on you because it taste like juice), and the sake that was grainy almost like a pearsauce.

I was asked by my traveling companions what I'd recommend an experience I had in Tokyo the last time I was here, and this was it! Great sake. Knowledgeable staff. Fantastic cook. Cannot rave about this experience enough. A must do in Tokyo.
