Great experience with Japan Wonder Travel. Had Mac as a tour guide who did a phenomenal job guiding us through the Tsukiji Fish Market. We tried a lot of great samples including sweet potato chips, nuts and tempura fish snacks. Learned about Yonemoto Coffee Shop including John Lennon’s relationship to this establishment as well as the famous Tuna King of Japan. Good way to experience the fish market!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience on the tour of the fish market, which also included a visit to the Tsukiji Hongwan-ji Temple right nearby. The tour was very insight as we learned about the history of this market, that it opened here in the 1930s for it to move recently in 2018 to its current location. Walking the market and being able to understand what is being sold, teaching key Japanese words and phrases and of course sampling some food, have made this a truly memorable experience.

Guide was Mac. This was a phenomenal experience. Mac has outstanding knowledge and was wonderfully caring. This was a memorable experience . The fish market is outstanding. We got a lot of samples. Thank you very much japan wander travel, especially Mac for the great organization.

My wife and I went on this tour and had a blast! We met Mac at the Sukiji Temple first where he explained the history and design, and even taught us how to properly enter a temple! We went throught the market after and had some awesome samples of snacks, matcha, and learned even more beautiful history behind the market! I definitely plan to let friends know about these tours! This was a memorable and very informative walking tour of the Tsujiki fish market. My guide Mac was extremely kind and knowledgeable. I went alone and had a fantastic private tour! I was able to sample lots of tasty snacks and buy fun souvenirs. I also learned a lot about the history of the market, the temples and religions of Tokyo, and lots of fun trivia. We booked the Tsukiji Fish Market walking tour with a sushi-making class, and it was a wonderful experience! The Tsukiji Fish Market tour with our guide, Sean, was very educational and enjoyable. We learned so much about Japanese history, the market, local food, culture, and religion. Sean was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and informative, and he did a great job explaining everything and answering our questions. We also stopped at many local shops throughout the market, where we had the opportunity to taste a variety of delicious food samples, and purchase them, if we wanted to. It was a great way to experience the market and learn more about Japanese food and culture firsthand. We had a great tour with Akiko in June. While I would have wanted some more background and history on the market, having a guide to navigate the crowded market was nice. She recommended a lot of yummy bites and was very friendly!

Great tour especially if you are a foodie. Nah our guide did a fantastic job explain every cultural and historical facts related to this tour. Food served was excellent throughly enjoyed the wagyu skewers. Being a culinary professional I found the tour highly engaging . Highly recommend.

Wakana was great and she gave us an amazing tour and recomendations on the market of things to buy. The sushi class was also fun, however sometimes it was too fast and hard to follow.
