Thank you Japan Wonder Travel. We had a wonderful time walking and learning so many fascinating things about Japanese religion and food culture. Our guide, Mac, was kind, knowledgeable, and an amazing source of information. He guided us through the amazing and unique Tsukiji Fish Market, introducing us to several vendors and pointing out the incredible array of food and snacks. We especially enjoyed the quiet moments where MAC discussed with us his own experiences and favorite foods. We could not have asked for a more excellent guide. We will definitely recommend Japan Wondered Travel’s Tsukiji Walking Tour and Sushi making, and Mac in particular to friends planning trips ton Tokyo. What a magical experience!!

Above all, his English vocabulary was outstanding, so we were able to ask him anything! He enlightened us with his deep knowledge and expertise in this area. We learned about different foods, the history, culture, and traditions that made this tour phenomenal! This is truly memorable and I would highly recommend it! We had such a fantastic experience on our Tsukiji Fish Market walking tour and sushi-making class! Tack was an excellent host for the walking tour – so knowledgeable, friendly and engaging, making exploring the markets really enjoyable. Maddie and Sato were equally wonderful teachers for the sushi-making portion. They were so welcoming, patient and made the experience fun from start to finish. A huge thank you to all three for such a memorable experience. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo!

Loved it! The visit to the Tsukiji temple and market tour was great. A wonderful way to spend a couple of hours and experience an exciting part of Tokyo. Our guide, Keko, was lovely - informative, friendly and professional. And the sushi making was brilliant fun - led by Haniko, supported by Nanami, it was really well organised and our professional chef - Go - was exceptional - really engaging, funny, and patient! An excellent teacher who makes amazing sushi - his was made a lot quicker and looked a lot neater and was more beautifully presented than ours but we tried!
A real insight into sushi the history the tradition and of course how to make it. Our guide around the fish market Hero was lovely and helped us select some great food to try.

Tack was very friendly and patient and shared local customs and history with the group as he led us to and around the market. The sushi making classes was also great. Well organized, efficient and hands-on. We made nigiri and maki.
The experience was just ok! Guide seemed knowledgeable but didn’t have a real plan and seemed more interested in what we wanted to buy and taste. Sushi making was fine.. studio was fair compared to other cooking classes I’ve taken. An average 3/5 rating.
Great Experience! Waka and Go were very good and taught us very well. All the other staff were very friendly as well! I mad the best sushi just saying

This was truly an amazing experience 🙌🏽. Both Go and Miky were amazing guides and host and I learned so much about sushi. I have never made sushi before so this being my first time was the best way to learn. 10/10 would definitely recommend for people that love food and cooking.

Enjoyed the experience with our hostess Maddie and Chef Sato, a wonderful introduction to the history and the overall process of rice preparation to plating, and eating. Thank you for the hospitality
Market tour is fun, and sushi assembly informative. Only guidance is that it’s unclear how to meet guide at meeting point, as sign is for a different company to viator.
Maple was a wonderful tour guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and made exploring Tsukiji Market so much fun. Chef Go was fantastic and made the sushi class easy, entertaining, and delicious! 🍣 A perfect mix of food, culture, and hands-on fun. Highly recommend!

We had our tour with Kumiko and sushi making lessons with Kate and Miky. Despite the rain, we had a great time walking around the market, stopped at some tasty food stands, and heard the history of the temple and market. The sushi making class was fantastic! Easy to understand instructions and we ended up with delicious sushi and learned a bunch :D
What an amazing experience walking and seeing the local fish and amazing food they sell and also seeing the fish market was a big eye opener to something I would never have done . The tour guide Kole I think was his name (sorry if I got it wrong ) he was great and showed us around and let us know about some history and his favourite shops , I recommend the sugar strawberry's! After the guide we went and made sushi with the head chef sato ! Wow what an amazing time watching her at the craft of sushi making ! Highly recommend !
I loved the experience of making my own sushi. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time, and it was incredible to watch Chef Sato show us how it's done. Chef Sato has amazing skill and makes sushi at an impressive speed. Many thanks as well to Haruko for translating all of the chef's steps into English and for explaining everything in such detail. It was wonderful to share this experience with my partner, and they were both very kind and helpful.
The walking tour guide and Sushi Chef, Sato were excellent. They were both kind and very informative.

This was a fun half day experience! Our guide was great. We began our visit at a nearby temple and moved on to the market after that, stopping at many stalls and giving us time to explore. Afterward, we were met by another leader who took us to the sushi classroom. Her English was perfect so instructions were easy to follow. The chef was pleasant and overall, just a great time!
It was an exceptional class. We really had fun. It was interesting and very hands on through step by step instructions aides by the very good English speaking Ugo and pro chef Sato - she was great and full of experience and enthusiasm. Well done. Highly recommended 🙏
