Well-paced and diverse food tour. It’s nice to be able to try new things without having to commit to an entire order if you were just visiting a restaurant on your own. Marin was a great guide! Would recommend, especially at the beginning of a trip to Japan if you are visiting for the first time.

I enjoy my tour with Miki. The pace of the tour was nice and relaxed and she knew the places to go.

Tomo was great, excellent host, great food and drink and wonderful introduction to Japanese food.

Marin was amazeballs. Very engaging and personable. We appreciated her knowledge of the dishes she was sharing with us. Would 100% recommend this food tour. One suggestion would be to change to restaurants that aren’t soo busy.

She explained so much about the local food and Japanese culture, which made the experience even more special. We learned a lot and got to try so many delicious things. Unfortunately this was not a good experience at all. Part of the fun of a food tour is learning history and culture along with eating delicious food. Our group was too big to hear much of what our guide said. Also, the food was average at one place and terrible at another. It was very disappointing.

Asato was extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and approachable. He is also very open to answering any questions you may have about the city. Would recommend Shinjuku food tour to anyone wanting to do a food or beer tour, Asato is a great guide!

A group of us attended a food tour with Clarke as our host. Clarke was great - smart, engaging and fun to talk with. The tour consisted of going to four places. We were able to choose what we wanted to try and Clarke made suggestions. It was a different approach from other good tours I had done, but overall I enjoyed the experience.

Clarke was extremely informative and we thoroughly appreciated all of the information he had to share with us! Made us feel very welcome, there was no pressure to eat things we were uncomfortable with. He made great suggestions. I would wholeheartedly recommend a tour with him anytime. Unfortunately, food choices were difficult for me on a personal level—had nothing to do with the tour itself.
