Tokyo Private Half-day Highlights Tour By Car With Guide

The tour was wonderful and specific to our needs. James is awesome and we have another tour booked with him tomorrow. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate.

Had an amazing time with James “James Bond”. He took us to all of the important sights and gave us information on them including an incredible restaurant for lunch. We learned a lot about Japan. We would definitely use his service again if we come back to Japan.

My son (12) and I loved our day with Mitsuaki (aka “James.” He was very kind and knowledgeable, and very engaging.

James was fantastic! We visited Meiji Shrine, Shibuya Crossing, the Imperial Palace, Tsukiji Outer Market, and Senso-ji Temple. James provided great information on the history and culture of Japan, the government and the religions.

James was a great and very accommodating guide. We had to cut our trip a little short but despite that we had a wonderful flavour of Tokyo both ancient and modern. Many thanks.

This is a must do in Tokyo. We took the tour with James. A very warm and kind driver and tour guide. He made the tour homely and lovely. We went to all the major landmarks in Tokyo with plenty of times for photo shoot. Our tour guide even accommodated our personal request for extra stop. I believe this is the best way to see Tokyo. He knows the best drive route in Tokyo to avoid traffic and see everything and more within the allotted time. We had time shop too. It was amazing. Ask for James if possible when booking to tour. I give this tour A+++

Pick up from hotel was the best. No trying to understand the rail system., it's huge! Our guide/driver was very kind and knowledgeable. He was very professional but he also listened to us and what was important for us to see. I had a craving for cheesecake and found the type and a location to grab a bit. That was the bomb. It's not often that someone goes out of the way for you and when they do it's the best. Thank you James it was amazing.

Our adventure was great, we really experienced the highlights of Tokyo😎 Our tour went into the evening and we asked our guide to show us the rainbow bridge and Statue of Liberty at night, amazingly cool.

This half day tour took us to several sights that we considered “must-see” considering our short time in Tokyo. The Shibuya scramble is truly an experience. The trips to the temples are all good. The Sky Tree tower is a must if you want to see a 360 degree view of Tokyo. What made it an enjoyable experience is James, our tour guide. Very knowledgeable and he explained everything in detail. And his command of the English language is impressive. We had meaningful conversations.

Wonderful experience. James was very informative regarding the history of the Asakusa Temple. He was very helpful with photos and is very easy going. It was nice to have a personalized experience. Highly recommend, especially in July when the temperature is a sweltering 100 degrees.

Our tour guide was James and he was extremely respectful and helpful during our tour. He took my spouse and I to lovely Tokyo attractions and when I took a tumble while crossing the street he was right there to pick me back up so I didn’t get too hurt. It was the perfect excursion for my spouse and I who are both senior citizens. Made exploring Tokyo much easier!
