My driver was on time even though our flight arrived about 1 hour earlier than I had scheduled. He stored our luggages and got us to our hotel right away. We were very tired after a 13 hours flight from USA.
From the first message to getting dropped off, everything just worked. Our driver WhatsApped us well before we landed with his name and exactly where to find him at Haneda—even which exit to use and what he'd be wearing so we wouldn't lose him in the crowd. Honestly, after a super long flight when you're too tired to think straight, that little detail saved us a lot of stress. The car was spotless, AC set exactly how we liked it, water bottles waiting, and quiet enough that we could finally chill after hours on the plane. He grabbed our luggage, packed it carefully, then pulled away smooth as anything. We landed after 10:30 pm and had to deal with immigration, baggage claim, customs—the whole thing—but we still made it to the hotel before midnight. Our driver was friendly and gave some good tips about the area and transit options. What really impressed us was how effortlessly everything came together—good coordination, great service, and a price that felt more than fair for the comfort and reliability. We'd book with them again in a heartbeat.

My flight was delayed. There was no driver waiting for me. It was difficult to communicate for some reason. Had to catch a cab to hotel room. Will never book with this company again. Will dispute charges.
Our pickup from the airport is so smooth. The driver is waiting outside the terminal. Our arrival is late in the evening, the driver showed his hospitality. We have the opportunity to see the the Tokyo tower lit up, like a tower of gold, it was amazing. He took our pictures which will be our memories forever. Thank you for your kindness.

Great car service provided by Lars. He met us at the gate after baggage claim and walked us to our nice clean van to take us to the hotel in Tokyo.. We enjoyed the ride and conversation. He highlighted many buildings on the way of interest. Wonderful service, and we highly recommend Lars travel service to others. Very efficient and timely with cost effective rates. Cheaper than other driving service that we researched. Definitely a five star service!
Driver we had when we came to Japan in February 2026 met us right outside the luggage exit area holding a sign with our name. It was difficult finding this driver because he was waiting for us behind the information desk with no sign. Also stated we would reach our destination in 14 minutes but it took around 30 minutes
my driver was a lifesaver the fact that he waited around for at least 2 hours longer after we landed, means the world to me. he was very flexible with us also since our flight was first delayed. would highly recommend using them!

We had a last minute change in our flight and therefore in our arrival time in Haneda Airport. I contacted the person before our flight departure and received a quick response. LARS transportation was waiting for me when I got off the plane. Grabbed our suitcases and our driver took them and us to rhe car. We were maybe 5 minutes iat the airport. We were on the way to the hotel. LARS will be driving us back.
The driver was running about 30 mins late due to traffic, and they dropped us off at the wrong hotel. We had to pull our suitcases half a mile to the correct location.
They were very polite and respectful. Even when my flight was delayed by a bit he stayed around and helped with my baggage. We both talked quite a bit about each other. I even got to practice my Japanese with them even if it wasn’t good. Yet, we joked around. Taught me some bits of information for some sight seeing as a solo traveler. Will book again, 100%

When arrived at HND I was feeling ill from something I eat before my 13 hr flight. While I was in the car from HND to SHINJUKU, I asked the driver to stop on the side of the road so I expel what was making me ill. He stopped, and waited patiently, and as we continued driving he offered me water and candy. Later that evening and the next morning he sent me text messages to see if I was feeling better and to message him if I needed anything. This person/service is great, he was caring, considerate, and took great care of me from the moment I met him. I’m so thankful to have made this reservation. To anyone who reads this…….. book this person/service when you need anything while visiting Japan.
Great option for private transfer from Haneda airport. Very helpful to the vehicle and the driving style got us to the hotel in no time, very much appreciated and would purchase again.
Be sure they have your cell phone number. That’s how we located our driver. Late arrival and took a while to find each other. Worked out fine in the end.

Of the four "luxury" transports we booked for this trip, this was the least luxurious. The ride was a 10 year old Lexus that had seen better days. The driver did not speak any English, so it was a very quiet ride. He did come to meet us in the terminal and helped with our luggage. It was an unusually stormy day, so he was late to arrive, but he got us to our hotel straight away. So, nothing was "wrong", but the comfort of the ride did not compare to the others we booked. I'm sure it was still easier/nicer than a cab though.
Being my first time, vacationing in Japan. My comfort level of taking the rail to my hotel and dragging my luggage in unfamiliar territory wasn’t exactly appealing. This service got me to my hotel. Overall, I am satisfied and probably would use them again. The communication was good via WhatsApp. My driver msg the day of my flight and instructed to msg him as soon as we landed. I followed the request and the next request was to head out of arrivals and head to the information booth bypassing the other transport services holding up name cards. I was expecting, my driver to be holding up, a name card, instead he described the color of his clothing so this was a little unorthodox. Other than that, he got us to our hotel safely.
Flight was cancelled for 24 hours. They wouldn't refund. It was 24 hrs of their time. Wouldn't provide any refund and said wasn't their problem.

The driver did not show up at the airport. We looked for him for an hour. No one knew of the company. At the end we had to get a taxi. He refused to refund me.

My flight was slightly delayed and I sent a WhatsApp message as soon as I found out and they told me “no problem.” Then as I was landing they canceled and said they weren’t giving me a refund. Definitely do not use this service.
This was no-show. We arrived early and waited past the reservation time. We had to take a taxi to the hotel from the airport. Viator did refund the ticket. Ticket was $91. Taxi ride cost only $47
Airport was a little chaotic. Asked several people for directions and was given misleading information. The driver was in constant contact and we finally got together at the visitor information center. Our driver was so kind!

This was my first trip to Japan with my son. I’m glad I booked the airport transfer with LARS Travel. After a long and tiring flight, our driver made sure we got to our hotel stress-free.
Our arrival to Tokyo was on time, however it took about 2 hours to get through the ridiculous line up to get to immigration and customs, wind through the long, long lineup to present our card for immigration(that we only found out about as we got into the lineup) show our QR code for customs. Our poor driver was patiently waiting for us outside the Arrivals exit. We thought we had arranged the pickup time for the expected amount of time it would take, however we couldn't envision the length of time it actually took. We have to appreciate that he waited, although it probably messed up his schedule for other pickups, but he met us with a smile and a handshake and grabbed out bags and did all the lifting both at the airport and at the hotel. Thank you Viator and our driver for not leaving us because of any other schedule.
