The absolute cutest albeit hidden make it yourself place I've been to. The host is very kind and fun to chat with and the activity itself is a fun relaxing experience and especially great on a rainy day!!

A wonderful experience for my daughter and I to share in Japan with the added bonus of a souvenir to take home that we have made ourselves. A unique and special moment with great meaning to us!

Super fun to do and the person inside gave some infos on the meanings of each color and helped us by giving us advice and showing us some examples of what we can do

It was overall a fun experience, you are using markers instead of brushes, but it was still a fun experience and has a variety of colored cats to choose from!

I discovered this experience while planning a visit to Gotokuji Temple. The temple is known for its simple white lucky cats, but at this workshop, you can paint and decorate your very own original Maneki-neko. This experience is enjoyable for all ages, from children to adults. Designing and painting your own cat was incredibly fun, and it made for the best souvenir from my trip to Japan. The staff were very kind and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Tokyo!

Maneki-neko is a lucky item. The cat I made with my own wishes became the best amulet of my trip. Travelers were happy to know that this cat is made of papier-mâché, so it is very light. It was fun to paint maneki-neko, which allows you to create your own special art pieces while experiencing traditional Japanese culture.

I am happy with the very cute result. I had thought about the finished image of the maneki-neko beforehand, but with the design that I thought about on the spot, I was able to spend a creative and fun time very quickly. I recommend it.

Thank you for organizing such a fun event, it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to sign up together with friends and draw a cat together. Thank you for the teachers' long way to come and prepare so rich, the teachers in the activities are also kind guidance and assistance. This painting is the right-handed cat, this size is a relatively good painting for beginners, and in time just finished. I liked my own work and also liked this activity. The activity time relationship painted a cat just fine, but I think the person who likes might like like me to have a pair of cash cats, if the site can add to the purchase of the left-handed cash cats, I will buy.
