Tokyo Kintsugi Jewelry Workshop: Make Wearable Art In Shibuya

Such a fun and unique experience in Tokyo! There was a beautiful selection of colorful pottery pieces, beads, and charms to choose from, so you could really get creative and make something your own. I loved being able to turn a piece of traditional Japanese pottery into a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and it was such a fun way to spend an afternoon. I’m so happy with how my piece turned out! Highly recommend this workshop if you’re looking for a creative activity and a special souvenir to take home from Japan.

Had a lovely experience making our kintsugi jewelry! The experience was very fun and the explanations were very clear. We were given a lot of time to slowly choose our preferred pieces and to slowly make adjustments to perfect our jewelry with no rush. They were very helpful in making the small adjustments to make our ring and keychain come out just right. Would definitely recommend this workshop for anyone as it was an enjoyable experience and they were super friendly and encouraging.

Fun and simple experience! Suitable for couples and families, and you get to leave with a cute souvenir:) Guys can have fun too! Class instructors can also communicate efficiently in English. Made a lovely ring for my partner:)

I had a great experience making earrings. Teacher was patient, knowledgeable and really helpful. I was able to choose from a large selection of different pieces of glass and porcelain. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful experience! The workshop was really enjoyable, and we felt very well guided throughout the entire jewellery-making process. There were so many possibilities to create our own unique pieces. The instructor was attentive, patient and always there to help, while still allowing us to be creative and make something truly personal. Highly recommended!

This was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. I loved every minute. The instruction was outstanding. This was a fun and relaxing way to learn about kintsugi while creating an upcycled wearable art piece. I love that I’ll always have a story to tell about how I made it. And, I appreciate their twist on traditional kintsugi that embraces imperfection to create a beautiful souvenir. I highly recommend this workshop not only for tourists, but also for locals - if I lived in Tokyo I would absolutely do this with my girlfriends.

I came here with a friend on the 16 of October, the teachers were so nice and welcoming, I change my mind so many times on the design but they were always patient and kept explaining everything to me, I really recommend coming here to spend a nice afternoon out of the crowd and you will end up with a meaningful souvenir that you made yourself, you will think about your time in Japan every time you see it !! This is our best experiences on our trip to Japan. My son and I had the most wonderful time making these exquisite jewellery pieces. We were given a choice of bracelet, bangle, ear-rings, ring, necklace, choker or key ring and we chose bracelet and bangle. Yurie and Shiyou, our teachers, speak excellent English, and were so warm , patient and encouraging. They guided us through the process of designing our pieces, joining them and applying gold paint (kintsugi). The results are unique pieces of jewellery that look stunning and are entirely made by us!
