Great time with Yas exploring some quieter more local spots in Tokyo, bikes were very comfortable and the ride was nice and flat. Highly recommended!!

Itinerary
Yanagibashi-Meet your guide here for a quick orientation to ensure a safe and unforgettable journey!“
First, you’ll explore the exclusive Geisha enclave of Yanagibashi. Unlike the bustling pleasure districts, this area was a sanctuary for 'Iki'-the sophisticated, high-class Geisha culture of Edo. You’ll cycle toward the Sumida River, the historic water gateway that once welcomed poets and aristocrats to this elegant riverside world.
Ride along the Sumida riverside and discover the hidden entrance to Old Edo.
Pedal through local neighborhoods, passing small parks and apartments to see Tokyo’s everyday scenery. Experience the authentic pace of life away from the typical tourist crowds.
A must-visit for Tokyo experts, honoring the legacy of Edo-period fish markets. As the heart of the city's food culture, it’s where professionals still seek the finest seasonal ingredients. Experience the authentic local energy and living history of the world's most famous food district.
Discover the origins of Monjayaki on this historic street, where a humble 19th-century children's snack evolved into Tokyo's most beloved soul food.
Hidden Jizo Shrines in the Alleys: These hidden shrines offer a glimpse into the spiritual heart of the neighborhood, far off the beaten tourist path. A perfect spot to capture the nostalgic, old-world charm of Tokyo.
Famous as the birthplace of professional Edo Sumo. You can see the massive "Yokozuna Stone Monument" inscribed with the names of history's greatest sumo champions. Also you will see stunning Shrine Architecture, features a beautiful vermilion-colored main hall and Japan's largest, most luxurious golden "Mikoshi" (portable shrine) decorated with real diamonds and rubies.
Leaving the historic alleys of Tsukuda behind, we head to Ryogoku, the true 'Mecca' of Sumo. Here, skips the modern stadium to visit Eko-in Temple, the sacred birthplace where Sumo was held for centuries. You’ll also hear the powerful story of the Great Fire of 1657 and how this district rose from the ashes to become the spiritual heart of Edo.
Finally, we cycle back to our starting point in Yanagibashi. As you return to this elegant riverside district, once known as the 'Flower Town' of geisha culture, you’ll feel a deep connection to the timeless spirit of Tokyo that we explored together.

What an incredible bike ride with our guide Santi and assistant Maki. We had stops at various historical sights, temples, and markets. We crossed many bridges and had some stunning views of the city. Santi has excellent knowledge of the city and I found him to be very informative and a great tour guide. It was truly a special experience and I highly recommend this company for exploring Tokyo by bike. It will be an unforgettable experience.
An enjoyable cycle round a part of Tokyo we would never have seen as staying in Shinjuku.
Great tour with Maki. Saw some really cool things that normally we wouldn’t have seen. Loved the history and culture!
Really fun personal guide who was kind and flexible.
Absolutely loved this bike tour! Our guide Maki was amazing and went above and beyond for me, my husband, and brother 🤍
Maki and Inu are great guides. I was an incredible tour. I enjoyed every moment and I would recommend to ride with them. Tokyo looks different from the bike 🚲. Thank you for this great experience 🚀🛸🤠 ありがとうございました! ジョージ
If you are looking for a great bike tour after many steps of walking, this is the right one! It was so interesting to get to know hidden spots and escape a bit from the very typical, touristy places. Our tour guides were so friendly and welcoming, to show as around and bring us Tokyo experience and some local information a bit closer. Happy we joined 😊🙏
A really great glimpse into a lesser-seen side of Tokyo, going from Yanagibashi to Tsukiji and in between. You’ll stop along various little spots to learn about the history of the area, including multiple temples/shrines and the fish market. Be sure to ask lots of questions since the tour guide is very knowledgeable! The bikes are usually electric, and the helmets have an intercom so you can hear and communicate while biking (a little static-y, but convenient). Would definitely recommend to tourists if you want to see parts that are less-visited (other than Tsukiji Market).
VeryGood trip in japan ^hahaha
It was a great experience and great way of visiting Tokyo with many historical stories
Nicely maintained bike and Yas-san was a nice tour guide.
Wonderful experience to discover a part of the city and the culture you probably miss! Absolutely recommended, thank you!!
Very glad to have booked this trip. We got to see many neighborhoods and parts of the city that were hidden and out of the way that we'd probably never would have seen by ourselves. Perfect relaxing tour od the city at a nice pace.
It was an amazing, even though I was on the back of the bike in a child seat, I was the cameraman!! I am very happy! Aito It was a great way to discover “ Shitamachi” by bicycles! The guide, Maki was very caring, and Inu San was friendly and helpful! We would love to ride again to discover more.
I really like cycling, so I booked a bike tour. I can chat with the guild on the way, and if I encounter a suitable spot, I can stop to eat/smoke/rest. The guild member is very nice, has Spanish and French ancestry, and speaks Japanese, English, and Spanish. The staff was also very nice; they prepared a bicycle suitable for my height (152cm). The entire Tokyo itinerary is very unique, unlike traditional tourist check-ins, highly recommended!
