Kumiko was a wonderful guide. She was friendly, very easy to talk to and her command of English is impressive. In addition, she was truly informative and gave us a wealth of local and historical information about the places we visited. She told us the cultural significance and background of the places we visited, took us to a delightful neighborhood ramen shop for lunch, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. I can't leave our our friendly and experienced driver, Tak, who added color and dimension to the experience with his observations of our surroundings. I can't recommend Kumiko too highly. Hoshi recommended some ideas for the itinerary that were perfect! Yuko and Tak were amazing tour guides for our first full day in Tokyo. They designed the tour to give us exactly what we wanted, a thorough introduction to this sugoi city and tips for navigating the rest of our trip. Yuko is incredibly knowledgeable about Tokyo and its history, speaks English very well, and is very accommodating. She seamlessly adjusted our tour throughout the day based on weather and our comfort levels. Having her partner with Tak—who was ready to pick us up at a moment’s notice even if we had walked to a new spot—made the day very easy and efficient. Recently, we went to Tokyo and had a private tour with our friends with Hiroko as our guide, We found her very helpful and knowledgeable about the city and cultural practices. We were able to see a lot of places in Tokyo in our two days that we spent with her. I would recommend doing this if you’re going with a group. A private car setting gives some flexibility of where we want to spend more time and gave our group more time to spend in exploring the sites rather than being on the subways.

It was an amazing experience, both the guide (Kumiko) and driver (Tak) were knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. They were able to help us customize a tour which met our needs perfectly based on time and interests including suggestions of places we weren't aware of. The driver was also able to drive by and suggest several photo worthy places even though we were not stopping at those sites, such as the Tokyo Tower, the Parliament bldg etc.... so those were an extra bonus. Both were very knowledgeable, and Kumiko walked through the sites/activities with us to give us additional historical and cultural information. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend both!

Toshi-san was our guide and he was incredibly patient and helpful in building our tour according to our preferences and needs. He came prepared with interesting facts about our locations as he enjoyed the locations with us. He was also super flexible as we made last minute decisions and recommended routes to suit us all. Highly recommend this tour as a way to quickly get around the main spots of Tokyo confidently!

Our 6 hour private car tour was excellent. Having the driver pick us up at each location after visiting was so convenient particularly since it was fairly hot in Tokyo. Yoshimi is an excellent guide. She picked interesting locations to visit.

We had an incredible day tour of Tokyo with Yoshimi and Toshi-he’s the best driver in Tokyo! Great way to hit all the highlights of Tokyo then decide later which areas you would like to explore in more depth. Our family really enjoyed the tour and learning about Tokyo! Masae and Toshi were wonderful and very knowledgeable. They were very kind and took our requests at showing us around the city and even making a detour. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Miho was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable. My family had a great time because she accommodated our every need. It was great not having to use the public transportation in the heat.

Taiji gave us the most amazing tour of Tokyo. I have done many tours on Viator and this one was by far the best. Very knowledgeable, perfect English (and perfect French), super friendly and personable. We were a group of 8 including children age 10-14. Started with breakfast at Tsukiji fish market (who said you can't have fish or strawberry mochi for breakfast?!). Then, we headed to Hamarikyu garden (Imperial Garden) for tranquility and some matcha tea, followed by Sky Tree and Sumida Aquarium for the best views of the city from Japan's tallest building. Visited Asakusa and Sensoji temples, with some shopping from the stores in between. Next was the National Museum for a little bit of history. Of course, the boys couldn't miss Akihabara, famous for its anime and electronic shopping. Finished with a delicious meal at a Shinjuku izakaya.

Wonderful experience for myself and my 10 year old daughter. Very flexible and tailored for any request. Absolutely worth it!

Taiji was super knowledgeable of Tokyo History and culture. Amazing service and it also helps that Taiji is so fluent in English. Very entertaining tour.

A private chauffeured tour with an English speaking guide is what we arranged to see sites in Tokyo. Tetsuya (aka Teddy) was our superb, friendly guide who exceeded our expectations. Received an itinerary the day before and they arrived at our hotel on time the following morning. We visited Meiji Jungu shrine with its wonderful plants and panoramic views/walkways, Imperial Palace, even seeing the changing of the guard, Flowering Cherry Blossom, Hamarikyu Gardens, Fish Market with its different fish and unknown vegetables, a great fun experience, followed by the Asakusa Sensoji Temple with its sweet smelling incense fragrance. We stopped for a baguette lunch with a huge glass of lager at Brasserie aux Bacchanales, Ginza. We were fortunate to experience a warm, sunny day and Tetsuya’s knowledge and information made our tour such a special memorable day of Tokyo sights. The chauffeur was great in dropping us off/picking us up at each venue which made it easy. We would highly recommend the private chauffeured tour of Tokyo, and if you request Tetsuya as a guide you will experience a very memorable day with such a charming and experienced, fun guide. We had an amazing experience! Taiji was very kind and helpful with suggesting all of the destinations. We saw breathtaking sights and hidden gems only locals know. We had a long, memorable day that was a blessing! We are grateful for the day and meeting such an amazing person like Taiji. Definitely worth it to try this experience!

We did a 2 day tour with Bob and it was amazing. It was 10 stars from start to finish. We did shibuya crossing, Shinjuku, ginza street shopping, sky tree, teamLab planet, disneysea, 3 different Shrines, a temple, Meiji forest& shrine, had traditional tonkatsu ramen in shinjuku, went to Takeshita street, visited a garden, lds mormon temple, Harry Potter studios, Olympic village. he even was our personal photographer. It was also my birthday eve and he got flowers and had my family sing to me. He was fantastic. If you want a fabulous guide and awesome drivers request Bob from Tokyo star agency you will be well taken care of.

Bob and taks were a fabulous team we covered a lot of ground In Tokyo and we really enjoyed sharing the day with them. We went to 2 shrines, a park and a temple a garden and also went to tsujiki market. They even went out of their way to do a drive by pick up at Disney sea. Then did team labs planet and shibuya crossing. Amazing! Thank you Bob and taks! If you need an amazing guide and driver who truly does it all then ask for this dynamic duo! We truly enjoyed our fun filled day with them.

Toshi and TikTok were both incredible! I’d suggested 14 sites we were interested in seeing on our 10 hour private tour. They managed all of them plus a couple extras nearby. Toshi is the perfect guide: friendly, very knowledgeable and included a wide variety of personal experiences for us so we’d gain a better understanding of various cultural aspects and the history of Japan. The time flew by filled with interesting and fun moments. Toshi far exceeded our hopes and instilled in us an appreciation for Japan’s beauty, spirit, and its incredible people. We hope to return soon to explore even more and hope Toshi can be our guide. It was a joyous experience.

Taisho was our guide. The experience was beyond my expectations. We were able to experience an excellent dish called hoto which Taisho recommended, you can’t miss it. The Ice Cave was such a great photo opportunity. We were able to see so many places not offered by any other tour! We had a blast!

Our guide, Sumiko, was excellent, and spoke English very well. We had a private tour for 6 senior adults which was tailored to our exact needs and desires. Sumiko was efficient and attentive to our plan and was in touch several times by email prior to our arrival to determine the sights that interested us. She was flexible enough to add in a last minute request to take us to a sumo training session where she interpreted questions and answers. She even went over and above to call and make a dinner reservation for our group. We had a wonderful tour of Tokyo taking in several parks, shrines, the Imperial Palace, the market, lunch and much more. We all felt that we were very satisfied in the value, and very tired by the end of our day. Our driver Toshi was so good and helpful—even finding us in a park to bring us umbrellas when it started to rain! Thanks to them both for making a memorable day!

Mickey was so sweet and provided our family with the perfect start to our Japan adventure. Our driver was very courteous and navigated the city safely. This is our first time in Japan and we were able to fit so many fun experiences into one day. We had a lot of things we wanted to experience and Mickey provided some additional recommendations that we were so glad we had the opportunity to see. We had a 10 hour layover in Haneda from Bangkok before heading home to Los Angeles - perfect reason for a day trip in Tokyo Masashi met us at the airport on time and waited patiently while we went through customs. He contacted us beforehand to see what sights we wanted to see in Tokyo Tsukiji market / Senso-ji Buddhist temple / Imperial palace / Shebuya crossing were the main sights To top off the experience Masashi recommended a world class Kobe beef lunch in Roppongi - what amazing food!!! My friends and I were raving for the next hour about how good it was All of us would highly recommend a trip with Masashi San - he was a great guide and he was part of the reason we all want to return to Tokyo some day
