The tour will take place in Ebisu - a stylish, yet laid-back neighborhood in Shibuya which is known for its excellent food scene, tucked-away bars, and refined nightlife. All bars we'll visit will be around Ebisu Station.
Brian is an expert on the coolest places around. He spent so much time investigating unique and fun venues with equally great drink choices. I would recommend him in a second to anyone who wants to experience a side of Japan you will not find with any other individual.
Great tour! Fun way to experience night life in Episu. We went to 4 unique bars and got to choose a different Japanese crafted cocktail at each one. They were all wonderful. We were even given a choice of appetizers at one location. Our tour guide Brian was the best! Very knowledgeable, he gave us the whole background on cocktails in Japan and very personable, he made the tour fun. I highly recommend this tour!
My husband and I joined the hidden cocktail bar tour in Ebisu, and it was such a memorable experience! 🍸✨ We got to visit hidden cocktail bars that we would never have discovered on our own. There were several moments when we thought, “Wait, there’s a bar here?!” and discovering these unexpected places was part of the fun. We learned about the history of Japanese whisky, enjoyed seasonal limited-edition cocktails, and tried cocktails that you can only really experience in Japan. It was much more than just bar hopping — it was a great opportunity to experience Japanese cocktail culture and appreciate the unique attention to detail that Japan is known for. My husband and I had a wonderful time, but I also think this tour would be great for solo travelers. The atmosphere was very welcoming and easygoing. If you want to discover a different side of Ebisu while enjoying amazing cocktails and experiencing a unique part of Japanese culture, I would definitely recommend this tour! 🥃🇯🇵✨
Absolutely loved this tour. We visited four incredibly cool and unique spots that I would never have found by myself. Brian was brilliant and clearly knew his stuff, both when it came to the history of the area and the bars and cocktails. All four recommendations were excellent. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves cocktails and discovering places off the beaten path.
My experience was great! My guide Bryan made the whole night a brilliant whirlwind of cocktails, speakeasy’s and history. The world of cocktails is eclectic and expansive but Bryan was definitely up to the task. Having been a bartender himself, he had a great deal of knowledge that was both historical and technical that he dropped very concisely so the experience was still fun. Couldn’t be more impressed!!

This tour is an easy way to get to know some of the spots at the forefront of Tokyo's vibrant bar culture. And Brian was happy to suggest other places to check out on my own.
I recently joined a fantastic cocktail tour in Ebisu, Tokyo, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. This kind of tour is quite innovative, as there’s really nothing else like it in Tokyo right now. The pace of the tour was just right, the cocktail selection was on point, and the whole experience felt very well-curated. I’d love to see similar tours in other neighborhoods around Tokyo in the future. As a cocktail enthusiast, I was very excited to learn that this kind of tour exists in Tokyo!! Especially with the amount of good bars to visit, it can be overwhelming to know which one to go to. I had no idea on what to expect within the three hour tour, but oh boy it went by super fast and I had so much fun. Brian, our guide, was very informative throughout the tour. Whether it be a question about the bar, cocktails, or even suggestions with Tokyo, he got you and really makes sure for you to have a good time. We toured four bars in Ebisu, four different vibes, but intentionally and perfectly picked out. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who appreciates a good night roaming around the city, have love for cocktails and experience to be a part of the local's night life. Hoping for this tour to spread and have it in different neighborhoods of Tokyo, that would be really amazing and definitely something to look forward to!!
Probably the only cocktail bar tour at the moment in Tokyo! I absolutely recommend it and I will definitely try it again 😍 The tour started on time and the pace was just right throughout the night. We didn’t feel rushed nor had plenty of time to kill, 3 hours was perfect for 4 bars. Each bar was so different from one another, from the cocktails we drank, the people around with us drinking, to the ambiance each bar had. It was wonderful how our tour guide, Brian, curated his presentations well at every bar - it felt special. I really enjoyed all the cocktails, the food, and the history that came along with the tour! Brian was so good at explaining everything and managed to answer questions we had for each bar! He just knew when to say things and point things out as we went along. I just hope they’ll start doing more neighbourhoods aside from Ebisu but it’s an amazing place to start and like I said, the only cocktail bar tour I could find at the moment 😍 overall 10/10!

This was such a great and well thought-out tour! The food and drinks were both fantastic, and I never would have been able to find these bars by myself, let alone have the confidence to walk in. The pace was good, and we even got to learn so much about cocktail and Japanese history that I never knew. Will definitely recommend it to my friends back home!
A few days ago, I went on this tour with my friends. We had our expectations completely blown away! The tour was so much fun, we visited bars we would normally not even have been able to find ourselves. The tour guide was truly an expert: he knew so many fun facts about the drinks and the neighborhood we visited, and it shows that he is really passionate about what he does. One of my friends did not feel like drinking, but that was certainly no problem because there were non-alcoholic mocktails options as well, and they tasted just as good! I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn more about the Tokyo nightlife scene.
This is an amazing tour for both cocktail lovers and newbies alike - there’s something for everyone and Brian is a great, knowledgeable guide. I loved the Ebisu neighborhood that Brian took us too and I would have NEVER found these hidden bars on my own. Definitely worth it.
Can't recommend this tour enough! If you want to avoid the more touristy places this is a must. Our guide Brian was great company and made this experience so personal plus he really knows the best places in the city. The bars all had an amazing ambience and I'm glad we were able to see this side of Tokyo on our last night. Already planning to visit some of these bars again next trip.
This was such a great experience even for someone like me who usually doesn't go out much at night. There are so many izakaya/pub crawls out there in Tokyo, but this truly stood above those tours to me. The bars were very unique and pretty hidden - I would have never found some of them by walking around the area! We were a full group for the day and had an absolute blast - we ended up staying longer at the last bar as well as we were pretty tipsy at the end, so we just continued a while longer :)) Brian was such a fun guide and put up with all of us becoming increasingly more drunk haha
