Tokyo Half Walking Day Tour With A Local Expert Guide

Very Enjoyable half day tour of Yokohama with Leti. Learned about the culture and history of Japan.

Just a cool way to experience the country's culture last February. I could firmly recommend their tours in the most scenic places in Japan!

Great tour, covered way more in half a day than I would have been able to cover in a full day or two on my own! Save some time and energy and utilize the guided tour, especially if you are short on time. Leo was a wonderful guide, took the time to get to know your preferences, and wasn’t afraid to make suggestions and be flexible. For example, there was a festival going on, and he took some time to allow us to enjoy some street performances.

Peter our guide was very personable, knowledgeable and friendly. Peter got in touch a few days before our tour and we specified what we wanted to see in tokyo. Peter took us there via the subway/trains, which in itself was a great experience. Peter showed us shinjuku gardens, the menji jingu shrine and the ginza district. Peter also assisted us with shopping for specific items, which was so helpful. We had some specific Japanese cuisines that we wanted to try and the restaurants peter took us to were great and the food was delicious. We had a fabulous day in tokyo, thank you peter!

Total RIP OFF, worst tour ever When your customer already paid you $166 for a stupid 8 hour your, you have OBLIGATION to cover the minute fees along the way , perhaps paying your thief guide a one one ticket home??? Not nickel and dime ripping your customers off more. The thief of a guide Shish force customer to pay for his museum tour 2x ticket customer and guide, 2x train fare every where. The Thief Shish even make and force customer to pay fur Guide’s expensive Wagyu Steak Meal ??? $166 is A lot of money to include NEXT TO NOTHING on the tour. Every museum entry, admission ticket , Customer pays DOUBLE guided Tour plus customer ??? Unheard of this Rip off??? Customers pay his tab fine… paying the guide ?? THIEF??? Customer even pay for Guides 1 way trip home plus additional fare . Guide keep telling washer customer wants to eat but his liking . Customer likes green tea , guide instead if helping customers look for green tea, said I don’t like green tea, bad taste ??? I feel disgusted my skin peeled on this lousy tour DO NOT TAKE this tour If there are options. The owner has the weakest explanation, supporting his guides THIEF behavior. Accomplice in Crime. Worst TOUR I have ever taken. They might as well take your wallet and credit card and go on spending spree

Had a half day tour with Christian as our guide. He was very knowledgeable, met us at our hotel and took us to some places that we would otherwise not have thought of visiting. Overall, a great morning and would recommend this trip to others

We were 4 older ladies in a city very unfamiliar to us. This was great way to see Shinjuki at night - guided by a terrific guide. Shinjuki was very crowded but very colourful and exciting. Our guide watch that we ladies were able to keep up with the other tourist and always was informative about each stop we made. Very highly recommend this tour.

We had Jibril as our guide who was excellent. He was knowledgeable about areas and was able to take us off the beaten track. Furthermore, he also gave us recommendations for the rest of our stay in Toyko.

We had a superb morning in the company of Jibril who took us around the less well trodden parts of Tokyo. He taught us so much about Japanese history, religion, culture and way of life - much more than any guide book. “Above and beyond” is definitely the description. Tips were given on how to travel, what to see, where to eat and with such kindness. To be shown Tokyo by a local was such a gift. I would definitely recommend this as being the best way to begin your trip, not only to Tokyo but to Japan.

We were lucky enough to have Andy as our guide. Andy was brilliant - picked us up at our hotel on time and took us to some really fabulous places in Tokyo. I was on the tour with my 82 year-old Mum and Andy was so considerate of her age constantly making sure she was ok with the pace, steps etc Andy went above and beyond to make sure we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We spent plenty of time in the imperial palace Gardens which was a real highlight for Mum and I. Andy took care of everything and we got to experience a tour at our own pace. We couldn’t recommend Andy or this tour any higher.

Andy was a great guide and very knowledgeable. We saw a lot of things we would have missed if we did it on our own. Lots of gardens and parks which makes a great contrast in a big city. It was raining on the day of our tour and Andy was able to defer the start of the tour for a few hours which made all the difference in our experience. Not sure that’s always possible but worked out well for us.

We will have this tour on April 6th but I would like to write about the excellent customer service we received before hand. I wanted to get more information about our guide and the owner himself Gabriel called and reassured me that we will be in good hands in Tokyo. That was very nice and we truly appreciate it! PS: if you booked the tour through Get Your Guide as we did or any other platform and you need more information just go on Jewel website get the phone number and contact them through What’s App and they will contact you!

I had such a good time and the tour guide was so kind and sweet. They were able to answer all my questions and added some flare to the tour. When I come back to Japan, I will be choosing a different excursion to take with my friends.

The tour was great, the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us all we must see in Tokyo and answered all of our questions!

Rifa, our tour guide, was friendly and really helpful. She helped us visit sites and taught us how to get around in the train and local recommendations.

Our tour guide, Shish was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, very informative and professional. We did some train riding and lots of walking. He led us to the 45th floor of a Federal building where could get a good perspective of the city. He answered every question I had and I found him to be quite informed about history, population and facts about Japan and Tokyo. He was the best tour guide we could have had

I made the reservation the same day of the tour. It was approved by viator and the operator. The tour didn’t state the specific time of the tour. I reached out multiple times to the tour operator to inquire about the pick up time and I never received any reply. The tour operator was a no-show. Sadly I spent half the day (my one of two days in Tokyo) waiting to hear back about the departure time only to not get any tour at all. I do not know what happened. Even viator was not able to make contact with the operator.

Our guide met us on time and had contacted us in advance to confirm the itinerary so we knew what to expect. She was friendly and professional We would use again

Starting our Japan trip with Shish was the best thing ! He’s incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and has a perfect sense of timing. As a family of five, we were so happy to see how much our three kids enjoyed the tour. His recommendations for restaurants and snacks were spot-on and made the day truly special. We had such a great time with Flo and Louise. First they took us through the train system and educated us on how to orient us, which was fun and great. We got a lot of background info on the sites we visited and they were very knowledgeable. They also made sure that we got to our last site, so we wouoget lost. A really nice time in great company.

In the run-up to the tour, we coordinated it well. We met on time and all the points and additional points were started. Irene was a great guide who delighted us.
