Tokyo Denim Jeans Making Experience

Basic price for the jeans is the only good thing about it. Everything else that is upcharged is absurdly overpriced. Basic embroidery you can get done in your home country for 40$, here it costs you 250$.. their most basic embroidery costs you 15$ for a single letter. Their own jeans patch with THEIR logo, which any god brand would just have it on, is up charged 25$. After getting my basic jeans I walked down the street and found phenomenal embroidery on good jeans for the same price as the basic jeans you can get here. Don’t follow what influencers do, they are payed and will make their money back with the post they do. If you do the same thing they do you’ll pay 500$ if not more for jeans which is not worth it

Great experience at Daruma Jeans. The team was very welcoming, especially Hikari, who took great care of us the entire time and even helped us resolve a technical issue with our booking. The team is international and everyone speaks perfect English, so even if you don't know Japanese, you don't have to worry about communication. The attention to detail of the Daruma Jeans staff, the quality of their jeans, and their friendliness throughout the whole customization process definitely make it worth the experience. If you are in Tokyo, we highly recommend dropping by to visit them.

Helpfull staff guiding you through the experience and they were lenient with the pickup times. You got talked through everything and had free choice to design.

This is a very cool and unique experience. The staff take good care of you and are so helpful. I would really recommend customising your own jeans, making a pair of jeans nobody else has! I will come back here next time in Tokyo.

It was an amazing and fun experience, I HIGHLY recommend you get authentic selvedge denim, although if you’re American, know they do sell out of their denim in our size sometimes! It was a little pricy, they did charge an extra fee for many things, so beware that the initial price it says isn’t totally true. My jeans came out to about $250 after I got the upgraded logo, embroidery, selvedge, and brass. Although it was expensive, it was worth every penny. I live in Japan, and I plan on going back to get more embroidery done, because I can say this is some of the nicest denim and people in the industry (that I’ve discovered.)

Very fun and cool experience, you get to choose your jeans and select custom buttons, rivets, patches and embroidery which you can choose the colors for.

Came here to celebrate my partner’s birthday today! He really wants to have his own Japanese handmade denim so we did the research and found this place. The whole experience is amazing! Structure can speak English and guide us the whole process of making our own decoration.

Durama jeans was very prompt with our start time. We started right on time and the staff was very patient in helping us pick our jeans and embroidery. We were giving a lot of options for embroidery and they helped draw out where the final piece would be placed. Will come again
