Micky was an EXCELLENT tour guide!!! She was very friendly, was very upbeat, shared good knowledge about Tokyo and I would have gone on another tour with her in a heartbeat. She was also very patient as I took all the videos and pictures that I did. WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL experience! Great job Micky! God bless, Shane

Itinerary
The journey begins in front of Tokyo Station! This land that was once a field has been transformed into this "Tokyo" cityscape that spreads out before your eyes, We will learn about the big "decisions" that were made at this turning point in history. The story of the various "decisions" that began here will thrill you as you ride through the skyscrapers on an electric bike! (10 minutes stay, 5 minutes travel time)
You will experience the history of the Edo town that developed from the Nihonbashi River flowing under Kanda Bridge. You will also learn about traditional Japanese festivals and the origin of the town's name. (Stay 5 minutes, travel time 10 minutes)
A far cry from the skyscrapers, Kanda is a town where the culture of the common people, who made a decision to "preserve the old," remains strong. Like a treasure hunt, you will ride through narrow alleys lined with historical buildings and drinking establishments that retain the downtown culture loved by Kandakko. (Stay 5 minutes, travel time 5 minutes)
Akihabara is a town that has continued to make the decision to "change flexibly with the changing times. Beginning as a black market in the burned-out ruins of the postwar period, it has developed into an open-air market for radio parts, retail stores, and large electronics stores, and even became the birthplace of "otaku" culture. You will feel the enormous energy of Akihabara! (5 minutes stay, 10 minutes travel time)
Looking down on Ochanomizu Station from the top of Hijiribashi Bridge, one can get a sense of Ochanomizu's history as a student town. Following Akihabara, where the challenging spirit of businessmen gather, Ochanomizu is truly a town where the challenging generation of "students" gather. Ochanomizu, where such student power gathers and creates new booms and culture, is home to one of the world's largest used bookstore districts and stores specializing in sports and musical instruments. You will see a town that is connecting generations while successfully incorporating the old and the new. (Stay 5 minutes, travel time 5 minutes)
Here is a little snack break. You will experience a common Japanese snack, taiyaki. You can choose from either anko (red bean paste) or cream flavor. Let's enjoy tasty "taiyaki" while reminiscing about your school days! Remembering your old self may change the way you look at yourself now. (10 min. stay, 5 min. travel time)
You will pass an antiquarian bookstore district, said to be one of the largest in the world, which continues all the way to the left. (0 minutes stay, 10 minutes travel time)
You will bike under the Torii gate of Yasukuni Shrine, one of the highest and largest torii in Japan, and experience the nature of the shrine grounds. There will be a restroom break. (Stay 5 minutes, travel time 5 minutes)
You will ride a bicycle through Chidorigafuchi Green Way. (Time spent: 0 minutes, travel time: 5 minutes)
The Imperial Palace was originally the site of Edo Castle. Why did this place become the Imperial Palace? Why did the Japanese no longer look like "chonmage samurai"? While touching on the history of the transition from Edo Castle to the Imperial Palace, you will look at the reasons why Tokyo became "Tokyo". (Stay 10 minutes, travel time 5 minutes)
You will pass through Sakuradamon Gate, the largest gate in the Imperial Palace, and enjoy the scenery around the outer perimeter of the Palace. (Time spent: 0 minutes, travel time: 10 minutes)
After returning the electric bicycles at the Marunouchi Building, you will walk to the floor in the Marunouchi Building where the art is exhibited. While viewing the artwork on the theme of "Time and Memory," you will reflect on your journey thus far, and then disband. Please take home with you the power to believe in your own "decision" of tomorrow and the courage to take a step forward! (Stay for 15 minutes)

Micky was a wonderful guide, good local knowledge and I learned a lot about the history of Tokyo. She brings a slideshow on an iPad along to help communicate about the different areas. The ride was easy on the e-bike and it's a good way to get around. It's probably best catered to people who want to learn more about the history of Tokyo.
The three hour e-bike tour was a great way to see more around Tokyo in an afternoon. We had multiple stops for pictures and to talk about the area and key facts and information on the area. Our guide was excellent and was quick to point out things we might have otherwise missed. We even got a sweet Japanese dessert along the way!
Micky was the best tour guide! She was safe, knowledgeable, and friendly! It was great to ride around Tokyo and learn the history of the city while doing it! 3 hours was the perfect amount of time and it was well worth the money! Would 100% recommend!
Turned into a walking tour because of the rain. Micky was fun and full of interesting knowledge of the various districts. It was great that she used an iPad to show the history of the districts.
We were a small tourist group of 4 which was nice. The e-bikes are easy to ride. Our guide Pon with his friend (sorry I forgot her name) made us feel safe cycling in Tokyo. We stopped in different neighbourhood areas and at the imperial garden. We also received key information. I would have liked a bit more information and details and missed that the info was not provided by heart. Something I guess will come with the time.
Micky was a wonderful guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. It is a nice way to see a few neighborhoods and places of interest.
A sunday well spent. Micky was such a pleasant guide and kept the entire tour engaging. She graciously offered to click photos in the best spots. I discovered so many great neighborhoods. The route was well thought out.
Great ride-Kumiko showed us all around and was so informative- highly recommended!
Micky was a great guide. She was very nice and told us a lot of history about the city. The e-bikes were in very good condition. They had a basket to keep things. That was a plus. Micky navigated well through tricky traffic and we always felt safe.
Excellent experience. The tour takes you through parts of Tokyo that are old and new. Our guide Micky was friendly, knowledgeable, and very enthusiastic. We really enjoyed the tour with her. She also guided us through the tricky traffic safely and we never felt any danger even though we were riding at busy hour in traffic. The e-bikes make the tour easy even if you’re not a regular cyclist. There were some moderately steep sections, but with e-bike they are easy to ride. Bikes were in good condition, fully charged and easy to ride. The bikes had a big basket in front that made it easy to keep our jackets and bags.
I enjoyed my ebike tour with my guide,Mickey. She was friendly, outgoing and very knowledgeable. The ebikes were well maintained and easy to use. We cycled at leisurely pace with lots of stops and photo ops. The snack break for a “Taiyaki”(a fish shaped pancake ) was a highlight as well as the mix of old and new sections of the city. There was a fair bit of riding in traffic but the drivers were courteous. It’s a great way to get about and see some of the city’s hidden spots.
Micky was our guide and did a great job taking us around Tokyo on well maintained e-bikes. She and our son bonded over running the Tokyo marathon. Micky went out of her way to make us feel welcomed to her city and the tour. She kept us safe navigating the downtown area of the largest city in the world. Highly recommend.
We had a great afternoon with our guide, Tudgee! She taught us a lot about Japanese history and culture! Thank you!! A really nice way to get around and learn about the area.
This was an incredible tour! My guide, Micky, was so knowledgeable and fun. I was able to learn about Tokyo history and also sharing my culture. She made me feel like I was exploring the city with a friend. She also constantly made sure I was safe. I highly recommend doing the tour solo or with a small group - you’ll learn so much in a short amount of time. Thank you Micky for the amazing afternoon!
Had a wonderful e-bike tour of Tokyo. A fabulous introduction to Tokyo with Micky my informative and fun guide. Thank you so much!
We got to see a lot of the area and hear history. The eBiking was great. We had been walking 15k steps a day. It was a nice break. We stopped at scenic places and took pictures, had a traditional sweet treat, and enjoyed the variety of new and old. We covered 6.8 miles (over 10km).
Micky was an amazing tour guide! I had a very personable and informative tour. The way she guided around Tokyo it didn’t even feel that busy or hard to navigate. She is a true expert!
Great e-bike tour with just enough historical information about our various stops. Great snack choice! Highly recommend!
Great tour with Mickey. Just enough information to keep the tour moving. Great snack choice! Thank you! Would recommend!
What a fun way to learns some Tokyo history and see sights! Tussie guided us expertly all while sharing her knowledge and fun facts!
Fabulous afternoon exploring the many faces of Chiyoda Tokyo. Cycling is a great way to explore a city. It was fun and surprisingly easy and safe getting around the area on eBike along roads and pathways, back streets and gardens. Beautiful interesting area. Tussie was very personable and knowledgeable and shared a lot of historical and interesting information on the Chiyoda area and Japanese culture. Loved the Taiyaki sweet treat with red bean paste. Thanks Tussie for an amazing tour and for your help taking me to the right train station after tour. Would love to come back to Japan for the cycling tour of Hiroshima. Recommending to friends and family.
I’m 60 years old and had a total knee replacement five months ago. I never felt unsafe or unable. Micki was patient and very safety cautious for her guests and the local civilians 😊. We recommended this tour even before we left Japan to other tourists that we met
I’m thankful that they accommodated me even if I’m the only one scheduled for this tour. It was such a nice and efficient way to explore Chiyoda in such a short time. I’m bad at navigation so having a guide allowed me to enjoy cycling around Tokyo. Micky was a great guide and she has taught me a lot about Chiyoda’s history. I was quite surprised that there is a scenic route along Imperial Palace and it was such a great way to complete this tour. I also got to witness a Shinto wedding during my tour. I highly recommend going on this tour even if you’re going solo.
Riding around Tokyo was exhilarating and a useful way to sight see. It was a fun way to get close to the people who live there and their activities.
Micky was a great tour guide and the we had the best time. 10/10. would recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo. I can't wait to get back to Tokyo to come and do this again.
Excellent guides Kumiko and Reina gave us a wonderful tour of Tokyo, very informative and well organised, we felt very safe and cared for. We learned such a lot on this tour from our very well informed and kind guides.. we would highly recommend this trip.
The tour was really informative and we got to see parts of Tokyo that we probably wouldn’t have seen. Riding on e-bikes was great fun too. Our guide Micky was so warm and welcoming, she was brilliant.
This was a great bike ride around Central Tokyo. I highly recommend it. The guide, Kumiko, was very knowledgeable and the route was well-planned to see many distinctive neighborhoods. It would be hard to tour these on foot. A bike ride is a great, active option.
Amazing tour around Tokyo. Got to see places you probably wouldn’t see on other tours or by exploring on your own. E-bikes were a great experience also. Tour guide was so friendly and informative.
My visit to Japan had been truly memorable thanks to the incredible e-bike tour guided by Mickey. From Marunouchi to Kanda, Akihabara, and beyond, every moment was filled with wonder, history and discovery. Mickey's extensive knowledge and passionate storytelling illuminated each stop along the way, revealing hidden histories and cultural gems we would have otherwise overlooked. The added touch of Go-Chan capturing our memories with her photography was beyond thoughtful. Their kindness and attention to detail, especially in recognizing my husband's birthday, was a super special surprise. Exploring the streets of Ochanomizu and Jimbocho while indulging in delicious treats like the warm waffles filled with custard and azuki beans was a delightful adventure. Witnessing two weddings at the Kanda shrine added a touch of serenity to our journey. Mickey and Go Chan are well above outstanding; their warmth, knowledge, and genuine care made our time in Japan unforgettable. Mahalo Micky "Kumiko" for guiding us through Japan's rich tapestry with such grace and enthusiasm. If you are planning to visit Japan, we highly recommend that you sign up for this e-bike tour and request for Micky to be your guide and Go-Chan to be your complimentary photographer. Sokoiko!!!
I feel very happy to join this trip. Fortunately, the weather today is really beautiful. Cycling and sightseeing the city at the same time is really interesting. Moreover, I think this is a good activity for health. If I have the opportunity, I would love to participate again next time. And the tour guide - Mickey san and M San are very very nice. Thank you.
It was a great experience. It was fun to ride among the big buildings. Micky was very attentive and showed us around Kanda. Her explanation about the historic spots was very interesting.
The 3 hour bike trip was so much fun ! Electric bicycles are really easy to ride so we didn’t get tired at all. We were able to learn a lot about Tokyo and the history of Japan! It was exciting to ride in the middle of Akihabara and see the beautiful sceneries of the Imperial Palace. There’s a restroom stop in the middle, a fun quiz time, and a delicious Japanese treat :) I highly recommend this tour for families and those who would like to discover Tokyo in a unique & fun way!
Mickey was amazing, knowledgeable and friendly guide! Providing historical and informative details, she took us some hidden spots in the urban canyons. We really had a lot of fun and learned a lot about Tokyo we wouldn't have ever known. Taking bikes was a great way to especially explore the hidden sites in Tokyo! I highly recommend this tour! Thank you, Mickey!
The cycling tour I joined was just awesome and way better than I ever expected. Every spot we visited had its own unique feel and burst of colors. Cycling through old Tokyo neighborhoods, lively shopping districts, and the ruins of the old Edo castle was just brilliant. The views were something else, especially seeing the huge skyscrapers and the imperial palace right next to each other. The sweet treat we got halfway through the tour was truly amazing. Our guide gave us quizzes that made learning about Japanese history and culture fun. She was incredibly friendly and made everyone feel super welcome.
Cycling around the streets of Tokyo was an incredible experience. With just a short distance, the atmosphere completely changed – from towering skyscrapers to serene shrines, and beautiful Imperial Palace surroundings. Each aspect of the city had its own charm. This tour allowed me to appreciate aspects of Tokyo that I might have missed if I catch only public transportation. I got to efficiently explore various places within three hours. Our guide, Mickey, was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and provided excellent hospitality. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
It was so fun and interesting plus informative about the Chiyoda Tokyo History. It was an eco-friendly tour since we used E-bicycle plus friendly staff! I will join again if have another chance.
If you love cycling, beautiful sceneries, and culture. This is definitely for you! I have lived in Tokyo for a few years now but I still learned so much about Japanese culture during this tour. All three tour guides were really sweet. Miki san also took time to learn some information about my country as well that of other cyclist who joined the tour. I was not expecting this and I felt so happy and even more involved in the experience. It became a sweet cultural exchange experience. The other two tour guides made sure that I was alright and safe while cycling on the paved roads. And since Japan’s has a different traffic rule, their support really helped me enjoy the experience and stay safe. Aside from this, I also got the opportunity to enjoy some Takiyaki, saw some Angler fish and some really amazing second hand bookstore street! The experience was wholesome and I don’t want to say too much of the details so you can have some element of surprise. Just know it will be an experience worth your time!
It was a great way of seeing the sights and learn about the history of Marunochi, Chiyoda and around including the Imperial Palace, historic book shops and many more. Bikes are very easy to use. Our guides were fun and knowledgeable. If you like cycling, highly recommend this experience!
I was a nice experience cycling an electric bicycle in Chiyoda ward, Tokyo while listening to amazing historical fun facts about the ward.
That was a very amazing trip. Tokyo was beautiful. The guides were also very kind. I highly recommend this tour for everyone.
In January, cold winter day. I joined cycling tour for Chiyoda-ward. This 3 hour cycling tour showed me different view of Chiyoda-ward and towns. Every town has different story and history, which I did not know. They were very interesting. Also this 3-hour cycling tour had OYATSU time. So I ate TAIYAKI with sweat potato paste. It was so delicious !!! It warmed my body and heart. After all, I really enjoyed this 3 hour tour with the tour guide Mickie. If you are interested in Japanese history and cycling, I recommend this tour. You can see little different views, back ground and history of Chiyoda-ward through this cycling tour.
I had super much fun going on the e-bike tour around the Chiyoda ward in Tokyo! Our guide, Mickey, had prepared a lot of slides, which she showed us on her iPad about the history and development of modern Tokyo. Even though I already knew a lot of Japanese history, she had a lot of fun facts and stories that I'd never heard of. I also just loved chatting with everyone while riding our bikes. The tour wasn't hard or so, but the snack break was still one of the highlights ;-) It was also a great chance to get to know each other even more. I would recommend this tour for everyone who is interested in learning more about the city and its history. The fact that the tour is with e-bikes is also great. It's faster than walking so you get to see more, but not as fast as a bus and also always on upper ground - other than riding the Metro. Fun for family, friends, and even solo!
The spots we visited are beautiful and very interesting. I didn't have any idea about the old partes of Tokyo that the tour showed me and also the history behind Chiyoda ward
It was so fun and the guide was so patient and kind and really tried her best to explain. I visited Chiyoda in this spring but didn’t know about this place. And I like vintage shops so I will visit again. It was interesting when the guide explained about old Japan and new Japan. For me, the newest one is shrines. I started collecting Goshuin since May so when I have time, I usually go to shrines. So it was so interesting when the guide explained at Kanda Shrine and Yasuka Shrine. It was so interesting but personally I wish to know more details so I think it’s better to reduce the places and focus on details.
I had a great experience! The tour guides were very friendly and the places we visited were fascinating. Reccommended for anyone interested in learning more about the history of Tokyo!
The tour guide was really knowledgeable and thoughtful as she guided us cycling through many neighborhoods of Tokyo. We covered so much ground in Chiyoda ward, the key area of political and financial power and a transportation hub of Tokyo. An ordinary tourist might not be able to understand the historical significance of the city and this tour would help with just that. Highly recommended for a very educational and scenic cycling tour.
Absolutely an awesome tour!. I was able to discover places in Tokyo that I've never knew and the guide was so kind to explain us about the history about the places we went to. Informative, interactive and Interesting . The Electric paddle assist bicycles were really good that I didn't feel tired at all.
I really enjoyed the Tokyo Cycling Tour with Super cool tour guide Yuko!! Yuko, our guide, not only entertained us, but also made us feel very safe as cycling assistants guiding us safely along the streets of Tokyo. (I myself rode a bicycle after a long time, but Yuko-san's perfect guidance assist That was very helpful.) The tour will cycle around Kanda, Jimbocho and the Imperial Palace, and take you around each deep spot. I had the opportunity to learn about the history and genesis of Tokyo, which I didn't even know as a Kanto resident. It was very helpful to me!! I had a very meaningful time on the cycling tour while talking with Yuko. Thank you very much.
