We loved our experience with Akiko! My group opted for the 6 hour tour which we feel was the sweet spot. We went through a handful of awesome experiences, but it was a great start to get a real close look at the area we were staying in Shinjuku! The areas we went through were more off the beaten path, which was perfect to avoid the crowds at most places. One of my big wants for the trip was to visit the Pokémon Centers, so she ensured to carve out time to visit the one in Shibuya and give as a little free rein to explore! Akiko was personable, knowledgeable, and felt like she really enjoyed what she is doing with care. Thank you, Akiko!!!

We had a fantastic experience exploring Tokyo with Sho! She was incredibly thoughtful and personalized our itinerary around our interests in Japanese food, history, and culture. Despite the pouring rain, Sho made sure we had a wonderful day. She came prepared with umbrellas, helped us navigate the subway, and took plenty of great photos of us along the way. Her passion for Tokyo really shone through, and we loved learning about the places we visited. We especially appreciated how she went out of her way to research and recommend shops based on our interests, including great places to buy Japanese knives and ceramics. Sho was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about our experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Tokyo and would highly recommend her!

Tak was a wonderful guide. Especially grateful he knew hope to maneuver the trains! He has great knowledge of the area and sights. We were able to accomplish quite a lot in our 7 hours. This odd the second time our family has used Tak and we would do it again.

We took this tour with Taka on our first day in Tokyo. It was the a great way to kick off our visit because we got a good overview of the city while experiencing a variety of sights ranging from the Imperial Palace to a guided tour of a department store food court and fine sweets department. She is as a great guide and we highly recommend this tour.

The Tokyo 4-hour private tour was great. Our guide, Andy Ando, was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the sites we visited. My husband is a slow walker, and she adjusted the pace accordingly. I highly recommend her as a guide. The driver took us to each site safely.

Our guide Nagahori provided a customised tour of Tokyo. We visited Senso-ji, the Imperial palace gardens , the Meiji shrine and other sights. Nagahori was the perfect guide and we had a wonderful day. For lunch we ate Ramen noodles for the first time and will definitely try them again. Nagahori’s knowledge of Tokyo and Japanese culture has enriched our understanding of Japan.

For our second day in Tokyo we wanted a great overview of the city. This tour with Lily exceeded all of our expectations. We rode the train system and learned about it, we learned about the religions of Japan, we talked about foods and had a fabulous lunch. We also got to experience some awesome shopping. Lilli customized this tour for us and it met every expectation we could’ve had. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Tokyo, especially for the first time.

Lily was a fantastic guide! Agreed on our itinerary shortly after booking and before the start of the tour. She picked us up at our hotel and showed us how best to use the subway system. Our guide, Tak was excellent. He has an easy to get along with personality and speaks English very well. Tak has an intimate knowledge about Tokyo streets and subways. We certainly would have gotten lost if we had tried to navigate on our own. Tak was knowledgeable about all of the places that we wanted to see, which was a wide variety of places all around the city. Tak provided a lot a background information that went beyond the basics about the places we went to. He engaged with us on subject such as the customs of the religions, language, and societal issues. We finished the day knowing that we discovered the essence of Tokyo, thanks to Tak.

Sachi was amazing!! We lived our tour through some of the historical sites of Tokyo and are very appreciative of all of her guidance.

Shinobu was a great guide. He was willing to meet us In our hotel lobby and took us to several temples & shines, including the very busy Asakusa area with its chaotic shrine and bordering shops. At the end of our tour, he escorted us to a great Raman restaurant and helped us through the ordering process. His English was excelled and he was very informative and patient with all of our questions.

Taka did a wonderful job of walking us around the city and navigating us through the subways and trains. She was very knowledgeable and interesting. Her English was perfect and very easy to understand. I would highly recommend her.

Spent our first day in Tokyo with Akiko and cannot thank her enough for an incredible experience!! Her stories, patience and guidance navigating the city started our trip off on such a good foot. By the end I was sad to say goodbye to her, but had confidence to navigate Shinjuku station, shrines, temples and Tokyo after a day going all around the city!

Naoko, our guide, is a very knowledgeable person and gave us a plenty of input into the history of Japan. We - a group of four- have seen the Emporers garden, Asakusa and the Sensi- ji temple. To our advantage she knows all the shortcuts to walk around the hardly avoidable queues. We had a very good time with her and can recommend Naoko without any doubt.
