We hired a guide, Yukino Shiraga (Yuki), on our first full day in Tokyo, and it was a fantastic experience. In preparation for the day, Yuki inquired about our interests and travel preferences to proposed a tour that would best suit us. We felt that her recommendations were perfect and covered a great variety of points of interest both historical and cultural. Yuki met us at our hotel and we rode the subway to our first sight Ueno Park and the Tokyo National Museum. On the way, she helped us procure our Pasmo cards and buy train tickets for our next stop in Kanazawa. In the museum, she gave us a great overview of the four major phases of Japanese history from the Stone Age to the present. Our walk through Ueno Park included two additional shrines where Yuki taught us how to wash, pray a respect the religious traditions. She picked a great traditional restaurant for lunch and afterwards we strolled through interesting markets on our way to the Meiji Shrine and Harajuku neighborhood. The whole day surpassed our expectations due to Yuki’s wealth of information and excellent feel for what information would help us best understand Japanese traditions and lifestyle. I recommend anyone visiting Tokyo for the first time to start with a guided tour and Yukino Shiraga is a wonderful guide.

**This tour does not include access to the inside of the Imperial Palace** The current Imperial Palace is located on the former site of Edo Castle, a large park area surrounded by moats and massive stone walls in the center of Tokyo, a short walk from Tokyo Station. It is the residence of Japan's Imperial Family. Edo Castle used to be the seat of the Tokugawa shogun who ruled Japan from 1603 until 1867. In 1868, the shogunate was overthrown, and the country's capital and imperial residence were moved from Kyoto to Tokyo. In 1888 construction of a new Imperial Palace was completed. The palace was once destroyed during World War Two, and rebuilt in the same style, afterwards.
Shinjuku Gyoen is one of Tokyo's largest and most popular parks. Located a short walk from Shinjuku Station, the park's spacious lawns, meandering walking paths and tranquil scenery provide a relaxing escape from the busy urban center around it. In spring Shinjuku Gyoen becomes one of the best places in the city to see cherry blossoms.

Explore the old fish market in Tokyo!
Meiji Shrine (明治神宮, Meiji Jingū) is a shrine dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shoken. Located just beside the JR Yamanote Line's busy Harajuku Station, Meiji Shrine and the adjacent Yoyogi Park make up a large forested area within the densely built-up city. The spacious shrine grounds offer walking paths that are great for a relaxing stroll. The shrine was completed and dedicated to the Emperor Meiji and the Empress Shoken in 1920, eight years after the passing of the emperor and six years after the passing of the empress. The shrine was destroyed during the Second World War but was rebuilt shortly thereafter.
Akihabara (秋葉原), also called Akiba after a former local shrine, is a district in central Tokyo that is famous for its many electronics shops. In more recent years, Akihabara has gained recognition as the center of Japan's otaku (diehard fan) culture, and many shops and establishments devoted to anime and manga are now dispersed among the electronic stores in the district. On Sundays, Chuo Dori, the main street through the district, is closed to car traffic from 13:00 to 18:00 (until 17:00 from October through March).
Koishikawa Korakuen (小石川後楽園, Koishikawa Kōrakuen) is one of Tokyo's oldest and best Japanese gardens. It was built in the early Edo Period (1600-1867) at the Tokyo residence of the Mito branch of the ruling Tokugawa family. Like its namesake in Okayama, the garden was named Korakuen after a poem encouraging a ruler to enjoy pleasure only after achieving happiness for his people. Koishikawa is the district in which the garden is located in.
Hama Rikyu (浜離宮, Hama Rikyū), is a large, attractive landscape garden in central Tokyo. Located alongside Tokyo Bay, Hama Rikyu features seawater ponds which change level with the tides, and a teahouse on an island where visitors can rest and enjoy the scenery. The traditionally styled garden stands in stark contrast to the skyscrapers of the adjacent Shiodome district.
The Tokyo National Museum (東京国立博物館, Tōkyō Kokuritsu Hakubutsukan) is the oldest and largest of Japan's top-level national museums, which also include the Kyoto National Museum, the Nara National Museum and the Kyushu National Museum. It was originally established in 1972 at Yushima Seido Shrine and moved to its current location in Ueno Park a few years later. The Tokyo National Museum features one of the largest and best collections of art and archeological artifacts in Japan, made up of over 110,000 individual items including nearly a hundred national treasures. At any one time, about 4000 different items from the permanent museum collection are on display. In addition, visiting temporary exhibitions are also held regularly. Good English information and audio guides are available.
Sensoji (浅草寺, Sensōji, also known as Asakusa Kannon Temple) is a Buddhist temple located in Asakusa. It is one of Tokyo's most colorful and popular temples. The legend says that in the year 628, two brothers fished a statue of Kannon, the goddess of mercy, out of the Sumida River, and even though they put the statue back into the river, it always returned to them. Consequently, Sensoji was built nearby for the goddess of Kannon. The temple was completed in 645, making it Tokyo's oldest temple.
Rikugien (六義園) is often considered Tokyo's most beautiful Japanese landscape garden alongside Koishikawa Korakuen. Built around 1700 for the 5th Tokugawa Shogun, Rikugien literally means "six poems garden" and reproduces in miniature 88 scenes from famous poems. The garden is a good example of an Edo Period strolling garden and features a large central pond surrounded by manmade hills and forested areas, all connected by a network of trails.
Yoyogi Park (代々木公園, Yoyogi Kōen) is one of Tokyo's largest city parks, featuring wide lawns, ponds and forested areas. It is a great place for jogging, picnicking and other outdoor activities. Although Yoyogi Park has relatively few cherry trees compared to other sites in Tokyo, it makes for a nice cherry blossom viewing spot in spring. Furthermore, it is known for its ginko tree forest, which turns intensely golden in autumn.
Harajuku (原宿) refers to the area around Tokyo's Harajuku Station, which is between Shinjuku and Shibuya on the Yamanote Line. It is the center of Japan's most extreme teenage cultures and fashion styles, but also offers shopping for adults and some historic sights. The focal point of Harajuku's teenage culture is Takeshita Dori (Takeshita Street) and its side streets, which are lined by many trendy shops, fashion boutiques, used clothes stores, crepe stands and fast food outlets geared towards the fashion and trend conscious teens.
Odaiba (お台場) is a popular shopping and entertainment district on a man made island in Tokyo Bay. It originated as a set of small man made fort islands (daiba literally means "fort"), which were built towards the end of the Edo Period (1603-1868) to protect Tokyo against possible attacks from the sea and specifically in response to the gunboat diplomacy of Commodore Perry. More than a century later, the small islands were joined into larger islands by massive landfills, and Tokyo began a spectacular development project aimed to turn the islands into a futuristic residential and business district during the extravagant 1980s. But development was critically slowed after the burst of the "bubble economy" in the early 1990s, leaving Odaiba nearly vacant.
Shibamata (柴又) is a neighborhood on the eastern end of Tokyo, not far from the Edogawa River which is the natural border between Tokyo and Chiba Prefecture. The town retains its old-school charm from yesteryear and is a perfect break away from modern Tokyo. One of the main attractions to see is the Shibamata Taishakuten Temple not far from the station.
Having miraculously avoided major damage during world wars and natural disasters, Yanaka and Nezu—two of the neighborhoods that make up shitamachi, Tokyo's old downtown—retain their last-century charm. You'll find historical sites such as Yanaka Cemetery and Nezu Shrine tucked away among shitamachi's narrow back alleys, traditional wooden houses, izakaya pubs, atmospheric coffee shops and retro stores selling old-style sweets and snacks. Here you can slip back in time to a slower-paced, more genteel Tokyo.
Golden Gai is said to have started around 1950 when the black market that had arisen in front of Shinjuku Station moved and, in this new area, a number of eating and drinking establishments set up shop. Although Shinjuku has undergone considerable modernization since then, Golden Gai seems to have remained largely unchanged. The alley is narrow and cramped with countless signs advertising the various establishments that line the way. Many of the buildings themselves are made of wood, remnants hanging on from the Showa Era. Most measure only around thirteen square meters (one hundred forty-two square feet). It's a dim, boisterous place filled with the aromatic smoke of grilling meats. Yet despite the nearly endless number of slick new restaurants available in Shinjuku, this little alley continues to draw the attention of foreign tourists. Golden Gai is a popular “un-touristy” tourist spot.
**Only up to the main deck, top deck is not included** The retro cute version of Tokyo Sky tree! This vermillion tower has been a symbol of Tokyo for a generation and can be seen in the background of many famous animes! Note: The remaining time is for the round tour and time spent sightseeing or explorations.
Gotokuji Temple, located in the Setagaya ward of Tokyo, is a Buddhist temple that is said to be the birthplace of the maneki-neko, or “luck-inviting cat figurine.” These small statues, which portray a cat sitting up and beckoning with its front paw, have become quite popular all over the world with cat-lovers.
Ueno Park About half a dozen museums, a zoo, a Toshogu Shrine and the Shinobazu Pond are just some of Ueno Park's attractions. Ueno Park is also Tokyo's most notorious cherry blossom party spot.

Seizo was a fantastic guide, so on formative, flexible and helped us with our future train travel booking. A super guy and made our day brilliant
Out overall tour experience was great. Our tour guide picked us up in the hotel lobby and explained a lot of Japans history to us. We went to different temples, the fish market, the palace and visited a Buddhist ceremony. Our guide was always very kind! Only sometimes a few hiccups with understanding, but they were good 👍🏻 We enjoyed the tour and would gladly recommend it to all visiting Japan.
Yuki was a wonderful guide. We were only in Tokyo for a short time but she managed to show us a lot of this beautiful city. We really appreciated her flexibility on the itinerary. Highly recommend
This was my second tour with Masahiro Abe (Masa). My wife and I used him as a guide last year and were so happy we decided to tour with him again this year. Because we covered most of the "must see" items on our first trip, we used this tour to see other areas that we missed the first time. Masa was helpful in suggesting an itinerary to see things we might not have found on our own and flexible in setting it up. He was on time and speaks good English. Highly recommended.
Our friendly guide Fummy went above and beyond and created a very varied and enjoyable itinerary. We spent a fabulous day with him and saw many wonderful sights in Tokyo. Nothing was too much trouble and we would thoroughly recommend this experience.
We had a wonderful day-long experience soaking up the sights, history and culture of Tokyo with an experienced and engaging guide. Yukino Shiraga made the experience both personal and impactful. She adjusted the meet up to our specific hotel and made sure to accommodate both dietary and physical requirements. We would highly recommend the private tour and our specific guide.
Yuki was so informative and thoughtful in how she planned the day to cater to our interests. We had a great time, learned a lot and would highly recommend.
We had the day with Yuki who took us to our selection of sights. We had only been in Tokyo for 24 hours and she managed to hold our attention all day with her in-depth knowledge of everywhere we went giving a good balance between history nature and culture. It was an invaluable insight to Japan as we set off on our adventure thank you Yuki Jan and Keith from Oxford uk
We booked the 8-hour private tour on our first full day in Japan, and our guide Kenji made it memorable. He met us in our hotel lobby at 8 AM and led us through Senso-ji and Nakamise Street in Asakusa, the Imperial Palace gardens, lunch at Tsukiji Outer Market, Meiji Jingu Shrine, Takeshita Street in Harajuku, and finally Shibuya Crossing. Kenji's English is excellent, and he is very well traveled, as well as knowledgeable about history and culture. He also helped us navigate the subway, which would have been quite difficult for us to figure out on our own. The pace was comfortable even with our jet lag, and he was patient, warm, and thoughtful all day. If you have the chance, request Kenji Kasama. We felt like we were exploring Tokyo with a local friend. Highly recommended!
First day tour. Yuki took us to various shrine explaining the customs and the significance. Very well worth our time as we couldn’t have pulled it off on our own without her. Also added some fun shopping stops that I wanted to check out.
Wonderful introduction to Tokyo with self selected itinerary. Planning in advance completed with excellent communication the day was stress free. Haru was knowledgeable and effortlessly guided us around the city, setting us up to confidently travel alone for the remaining days in the city.
Lovely full day tour with guide Steve. He offered us a tailored tour around the north and east part of Tokyo. Our guide also explained the metro system to us along with other useful bits of information to understand how Japan works. Steve was very knowledgeable, kind and approachable. Tour guiding is his second career. He gave us information about all sorts of things including Japanese history, religion and sake making. He was organised and yet flexible. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and enjoyed spending time with Steve. We would highly recommend him. We finished the day with a sake tasting. Thank you for a wonderful day!
Our guide was a very nice guy. On the few occasions throughout the day he took the time to explain the cultural significance of what we were seeing, the information was well received. Unfortunately, Takeshi continually walked about 20 meters ahead of us throughout the day (roughly 8 hours worth of walking) and even disappeared around corners, leaving us to wonder where he went. Many of the places we saw and went lacked context and explanation; we really are unsure of the significance of WHAT we actually saw. Takeshi did take the lead during lunch and helped us to order some amazing sushi. All in all, it was a nice day of walking but our guide could certainly have done a better job by engaging more with his guests, rather than speed-walking.
Tour guide Tatsu was a great guide. He met us promptly and provided excellent service along with the car service. He took us to excellent spots at the markets for sampling some great food as well insuring that we got to see all of the specific sights we had planned. He was very professional and we highly recommend him.
Danda was great! He took us to all the places we asked and some secret ones we didnt know about. He was very patient with us and we had an amazing time!
Tatsuya met us early for this full day tour of Tokyo. We started at Meiji Jingu Shrine, then visited Shinjuku, Golden Gai area, Omoide Yokocho, Rikugien Gardens and the Imperial Palace. We had oringally intended to end the tour in Ueno park but due to heavy rain all day and first day jet-lagged tiredness we ended the tour early. Tatsuya was very knowledgable about all of the sights, and was very helpful and happy to include a lunch stop at our request. He took photos of us throughout the day which he then sent to us. All in all a very enjoyable (but very wet) day in Tokyo with a great guide. thanks Tatsuya, Neil and Sheryl Buckley
Sammy was amazing! He communicated with me not long after I booked the trip and made sure to make our visit special. I wish I could take Sammy with us for every stop on our Japan visit.
This was a fantastic experience with Tatsu! He provided a wonderful introduction to Tokyo covering significant cultural and historic sites while also adding a personal element. He got us off the beaten path and introduced us to neighborhoods that we would have never found on our own. It was a great day!
Great experience, our guide Haruhiko Yokota was excellent, informative and educational. A lot better than I thought it could be, 8 hours flew by!
Really friendly and helpful guide (Show) who spoke great English and was flexible to our needs and knowledgeable on all topics we asked questions on. Very helpful to have on our first day in Tokyo - we couldn’t have figured out the public transport so quickly without Show! Highly recommend.
Great experience. Learned lot of history
Our guide Lance was great ! Our first full day in Tokyo and he kept us right on schedule to make the day run smoothly. He was very kind and knowledgeable throughout. We appreciated the moments when he shared local customs, which brought the places to life.
We had a fantastic day with our tour guide, Show. He was incredibly knowledgeable, informative, interesting, and just fun. We saw a number of sites, including: Tokyo Tower, a Shinto shrine, the famous Shibuyo crossing, Fish Market (Tsujiki), and more. The driver was also wonderful. I have mobility issues and both the guide and driver were super accommodating. This was an excellent experience. I highly recommend it!
Our tour guide was Shigeru-San. He was the most patient and accommodating tour guide I’ve ever had. He accommodated a custom tour all over Tokyo and followed a list ofwhich places we had in mind to visit that day. He was extremely patient always shopped and even helped carry the mini shopping bags we had with us. He was with us the whole day and never complained once. I highly recommend him for Any custom tour of Tokyo. I could give him than five stars I would.. Thank you, Shigeru -San !
Our tour with Yuki (Yukiko Tsunoda) was unforgettable. She was such a knowledgeable and pleasant person to spend our first day in Tokyo with. We greatly recommend her for anyone who would like to see and understand Tokyo beyond the basic tourist routes!
The good was the guide was very pleasant and accommodating but sorry, his English language skills are too poor. I missed 90% of the information he told me( because reading from pre-printed information pages isnt a conversation) and he probably missed most of the questions I asked. Far too much money for a poor excursion.
My two young children and I spent a fabulous day in Tokyo with Shuji He created a customised itinerary based on a long list of options and quite specific requests for a car mad boy which ensured everyone was happy. He made my children comfortable and provided interesting details and history for all to appreciate and understand. He was patient with our stopping, shopping and special requests as well as accommodating weather and changes to suit so that we could have the best day possible. Our lunch spot was also fabulous and something we would never have found on our own! Thank you Shuji!
Koba was an amazing guide who made our day in Tokyo and Shibamata truly special. He shared fascinating insights into the city’s shrines, temples, history, and culture, while tailoring the tour perfectly to our interests and helping us discover less touristy places. My partner has a disability, and Koba was exceptionally kind, patient, and considerate, ensuring the entire day was comfortable and accessible. He also helped us collect goshuin, took wonderful photos, and prepared a thoughtful folder of information as a keepsake. His organisation, generosity, and positive energy made the experience unforgettable. We highly recommend Koba to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and passionate guide. Thank you so much, Koba!
Rumi was a wonderful guide that provided a comprehensive overview and tour of the highlights of Tokyo, navigating the complex subway system with ease. It was a long day but well worth it!
Mr Taku was very knowledgeable about the history of Japan and gave us a good breakdown of tradition and what to expect at each temple. We Learned a lot about the different religion and how they came about. We did some Shopping and ate some great fresh seafood. Highly recommend Mr Taku as a tour guide!
Our guide ‘May’ had emailed us several times to work out exactly what we wanted to see in Tokyo. He was great, very funny and helpful. He even found us a vegan restaurant where we had lunch, you could tell he was a bit apprehensive himself as a self confessed carnivore but he tried it anyway. It was a great introduction to Tokyo.
Lance our tour guide was fantastic. From the time we paired, we messaged on WhatsApp as he built our customizable tour day! He gave great suggestions and asked great questions to build a wonderful day. The day itself was perfect. He met us at the hotel, and guided us fantastically. He had detailed history and facts to share and was well prepared to ensure that we had everything we needed.
What a fantastic way to start our time in Japan! We were lucky enough to have Kenzo Ito as our guide for our Tokyo walking tour, and he was absolutely brilliant. From the moment we met him, Kenzo was an absolute gentleman — punctual, organised, friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly easy to spend the day with. He made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable and was fantastic with our family. As this was our first full day in Japan, what we appreciated most was that Kenzo gave us much more than just a sightseeing tour. He helped us understand how to navigate Tokyo’s public transport, explained Japanese customs and etiquette, and gave us lots of useful tips that will make the rest of our trip so much easier. By the end of the tour, we already felt much more comfortable finding our way around Tokyo. Kenzo was patient, thoughtful and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great experience. It felt more like exploring Tokyo with a knowledgeable local friend than simply following a tour guide. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Tokyo and Japan. Thank you, Kenzo, for such a memorable first day — we would wholeheartedly recommend you to anyone visiting Tokyo!
Having so much fun my guide Takako & learn Japanese culture. It really doesn't get any better than this to see Tokyo.
My visit to Japan was an absolute pleasure, and Tokyo was no exception. I had the pleasure of having Takeshi as our tour guide, and he was simply amazing! Takeshi contacted me via WhatsApp before the tour to learn about our expectations and any limitations. He not only met all of our requirements, he exceeded them. He was punctual, patient, and incredibly accommodating. Our group of four had different personalities and physical abilities, yet Takeshi remained upbeat, attentive, and focused on making sure everyone had a wonderful experience throughout the entire eight-hour tour. He was knowledgeable, informative, friendly, and genuinely helpful. He also went above and beyond in small but meaningful ways. For example, at the end of our tour, he took the initiative to call a taxi for us rather than simply leaving us to arrange transportation on our own as described by the tour. Thanks to his thoughtfulness, we were able to get a taxi at a much lower cost than we would have otherwise. We are truly grateful to have had Takeshi as our guide and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone considering this tour. He helped make our Tokyo experience truly memorable!
I appreciated having Fummy as my guide from start to finish. He contacted me right away, was extremely responsive, and even accommodated a last-minute request to visit a vintage store. He was informative, patient, and flexible throughout the day. We covered so much in eight hours, and he made the entire experience enjoyable and seamless. I highly recommend Fummy for anyone looking for a knowledgeable and accommodating guide in Tokyo!
We had an amazing tour of Tokyo today with our guide, Toru. He was absolutely excellent! At every place we visited, Toru shared so much interesting information about Japanese culture, history, and everyday life. He answered all of our questions and also gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the rest of our trip. He even took us to a fantastic place for lunch, where we had a delicious meal! It was the perfect way to start our journey through Japan and gave us a wonderful first impression of Tokyo and Japanese culture. Thank you so much, Toru, for such a memorable day! We highly recommend this tour and especially Toru as a guide! :)
Guide was excellent, met us at hotel on time, communication beforehand was excellent, very informative tour and covered lots in such a short space of time.
It was great day with a very kind and respectful guide He organized a perfect tour for us and was always flexibel to our needs due to the hot weather Thanks a lot Izumi!
Yoshi was an excellent tour guide. He customized our tour for our interests and mobility impairments. He was very knowledgeable about Japanese history, Tokyo, and the sites that we visited. We highly recommend him!
We had a great day with Fummy-san. He introduced us to Tokyo, Japan and its customs, showed us around, took care of us during the day and supported us train arrangements. We loved his company during our first steps in Japan and Tokyo!
We were taken care of by Taku-san. We had a great time and learned a lot about Japanese history. Our main ame was to have a food tour and Taku-san tried his best to give us a good experience. However, he was not so well prepared or fond off the food spots as his counterpart in Osaka. However at the end we managed to get what we want and we saved the day. We have communicated earlier that our main aim is a food our son we would have wished a more organised approach on the restaurants to be visited. Like the experience we had in Osaka. However, we still give this tour a 5 star as Taku-san went out of his way to also accommodate other wishes of my daughter and really made us have a wonderful day.
If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Tokyo, I can't recommend Tatsu highly enough. From the moment we met him, he was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. He made sure our family saw all the places we wanted to visit while also introducing us to hidden gems we never would have discovered on our own. His knowledge of Tokyo, its history, and its culture brought every stop to life, and he tailored the day perfectly to our family's interests. He was fantastic with our kids, making them feel included and engaged throughout the tour, which made the experience even more enjoyable for all of us. What truly sets Tatsu apart is how much he genuinely cares about the people he guides. His kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm turned what could have been a great sightseeing tour into one of the highlights of our entire trip to Japan. I would recommend Tatsu 150% to my friends, family, or anyone visiting Tokyo. We can't wait to return someday and book another tour with him. Thank you, Tatsu, for helping create memories our family will cherish for a lifetime!
If you’re looking for an authentic Tokyo experience beyond the usual tourist attractions, Tatsu is the guide you want. Before our trip, I specifically asked him to take us to local neighborhoods and hidden gems where we could truly immerse ourselves in Japanese culture—and he absolutely delivered. Despite the rainy weather, Tatsu made sure our day was enjoyable from start to finish. He was always on time, incredibly patient, and organized, especially with our large group of eight that included several children. He never rushed us and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the tour. He was extremely knowledgeable about Japan’s history, traditions, and culture, and he shared so many interesting stories that made us appreciate the places we visited even more. He also went above and beyond by helping us communicate at restaurants, with vendors, and while shopping. Having someone who could bridge the language barrier made the entire experience so much smoother and more enjoyable. The biggest compliment came from my toddler. At one point during our trip, he looked at us and said, “I miss Tatsu.” That alone speaks volumes about how kind, patient, and wonderful he was with our family. This was one of the highlights of our Japan trip, and we left feeling like we had experienced the real Tokyo—not just seen it. If you want a genuine cultural experience with a guide who truly cares about his guests, we wholeheartedly recommend Tatsu. Thank you for making our family’s first visit to Tokyo so memorable! Worth the price? Absolutely. Every penny was worth it. We would book with Tatsu again without hesitation.
We had an amazing experience with our guide in Japan. He was energetic, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He didn't just take us from place to place—he shared the history, culture, and significance behind each location, making every stop much more meaningful. His passion for Japan was evident throughout the tour, and his enthusiasm kept everyone engaged from start to finish. Thanks to his excellent storytelling and thoughtful explanations, we left with a much deeper appreciation for Japan and its rich heritage. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an informative, fun, and memorable experience.
Izumi was very attentive, kind and thoughtful. He immediately suggested an itinerary after booking. He was knowledgeable, adaptable and great with our kids. He went above and beyond by helping secure a dinner reservation for us before we even got to Japan. 10/10 recommend. Thank you Izumi!
Izumi was very attentive, thoughtful and responsive. He suggested an itinerary immediately upon booking the tour. He was well organized and knowledgeable and very good with our kids. He went above and beyond helping secure a restaurant reservation for us when I asked if we could stop there while we were in Japan. 10/10 experience! Arigato Izumi.
Takako was extremely knowledgeable and showed us all the main attractions with care and detail. We would highly recommend doing this activity.
Masa was our tour guide. Masa was an amazing tour guide that communicated extremely well ahead of time about the sites we would like to see in Tokyo, picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel, was very friendly and well prepared and finally but most importantly made our day in Tokyo very memorable. We went to the Buddhist temple in Asakusa, Meiji Shinto Temple, imperial Palace, Shinjuku Gyoen National Gatden, and Shibuya Crossing. All were great and amazing suggestions by Masa. Would highly recommend this tour as it was a private tour guide for a full day and provided discretion on which 5-6 sites you want to see. Also highly recommend our tour guide Masa who was a wealth of knowledge and very friendly and charming. 15/10 would do again.
