We bought 4 tickets for 17:30 entrance and we didn't receive the ticket on time. They didn't have tickets at the entrance to buy for 17:30-18:30entrance. What a waste for time and money. In addition, Viator is now giving me trouble to refund my tickets.

Do not buy tickets. This is a scam. I arrived at Team Lab Planets, Tokyo and they told me that they would not honour my tickets that I purchased through Viator. They told me that Viator is not an authorized reseller of Team Lab Planet tickets. I was unable to enter with my tickets. I am trying to get a refund through Viator
Magical, so beautiful. Thank you
We had an awesome experience here. I would highly recommend for anyone of any age to experience this.
Interactive art with some winners. Be ready to get a little wet but that’s not too bad. Make sure you download the tickets properly. Viator sent the wrong start time and challenging access to tickets.
Team Lab Planets was a really unique experience and I’m glad we went. Heads up: when it tells you your tickets will be in your email the day before, if you don’t get a QR code, check the “chat” area from your booking and that’s where we found our QR code which is required for entry.
This was a very unique experience, I wish it had some smells in it. It makes you think about how much your senses play in your life
My son and I went here for a few hours on a recommendation from a friend and it was a great few hours. Very immersive and sensory driven. However not for the unsteady on their feet. Really good interactive areas and enjoyable all round. Recommended if in Tokyo with some time available. PS - great eating and drinking area around the corner next to river if you get there early…
Important to note that our experience at TeamLabs was absolutely fantastic and highly recommend you go. I recommend that you purchase your tickets directly through the TeamLabs website. Booking through Viator cost us 84% more than purchasing directly. Looks like the commissions paid to its tour providers are worth more than the actual experience. This is the email I received from Viator "Hi Jomo Thanks for contacting us about Team Lab Planets Tokyo Timed Entry Admission Ticket. To provide full transparency, the rates on Viator are higher because the platform charges a commission fee for every booking processed through their marketplace. To maintain our business operations while offering our services on third-party platforms, these external commission costs are reflected in the final Viator price. Regards, Ronel Viator Customer Service" While I understand paying extra for convenience, I can't justify paying such an outrageous commission/service fee. Unfortunately this will be the last time I book with Viator.
Don’t book with Viator. We had booked Team Lab Tokoyo for a selected time and while in tokoyo I got an email that Viator will not honor our time that we originally booked. I tried calling and emailing Viator and I got no response. We were unable to goto Team Lab and my family was very disappointed.
The water portion was really neat, but it was way too crowded at 8:30pm. Overwhelmingly crowded. After the water section, I went to the bathroom where there was a huge pile of toilet slippers in the entry causing me to trip and fall hard to the ground. None of the other bathrooms had toilet slippers, so I was totally unprepared. They need to do better than that. Would not go back.
Extremely crowded, nice art pieces and photo opportunities though had higher expectations (entirely on me). The crowds made the experience very overwhelming and borderline unenjoyable. Even with staff and limited signage it’s difficult to navigate through areas and find exits. Personally, my partner and myself wouldn’t return as I suppose it’s aimed more toward children. If you’re a family and wanna walk through water and mirrors floors with other families, this is your time to shine.
Very busy Staff were helpful Amazing beautiful experience Wish more staff were there particularly in the live flower section, we were told not to touch the plants (understandable) and a few people just ruined the experience smashing into the plants and not doing as asked Wish also there was signs for visitor self awareness, in the amazing sections people were so loud and running around like idiots it took away the magic of the immersive experience for everyone that respected the place and culture of Japan. The place itself is lovely, I just wish humans didn't behave like wild animals / if they do they are escorted out. Maybe even an adults only slot could be good!? Staff are so sweet, on the climbing sections when I was nervous they came over and held my hand and helped me get across (how beautiful!) Definitely recommend! Just hope the idiots I refer to above is a one off of I'm not sure how long this amazing experience will last
Fun experience - sensory stimulation galore - if you are sensitive to flashing light may be overwhelming but very fun.
Absolutely incredible I would do it 100 times again it was never ending art live experience. We loved it!
Do not purchase tickets. Book directly through the website. We purchased tickets from this tour operator and could not access team labs due to no third party ticket purchases. The tour operator would not refund. This is a scam.
This place is amazing. There are so many cool things to see and do. There are fun interactive areas and some visual spaces that fill your senses. Definitely worth the trip!
Do not use Viator to buy tickets for teamlab planets. They will not accept them from third party. What a mess. We needed rebuy the tickets
My wife and I really enjoyed spending time at Team Labs Planets. Worth the visit and a nice break from sightseeing. It was such a unique visual experience. We went on a Friday at 9:30 in the morning and it did not feel overcrowded. Heads up, you do not wear shoes and they provide lockers to lock up your personal items. Be prepared to take tons of pictures!
Amazing.... our kids love it!
My daughter and I had a great experience and definitely recommend for an out of this world experience
You will get wet. Wear pants that you can roll up to your knees or shorts. Don't wear a skirt as many floors have mirrors.
It’s worth visiting. A really fun immersive experience. Perhaps go at night when some of the outdoor exhibits light up.
Wow, this exhibit was so much fun and so unique, we had an absolute blast here. One of our top experiences while visiting Tokyo!
I Booked tickets with Tripadvisor for Team Lab Planets Tokyo, Tripadvisor advised me my tickets will be emailed the day before, and the email stated the tickets would be attached, but they were not, below is a copy of the email notifying me what to expect. 'Your official teamLab Planets TOKYO admission ticket will be sent to you by email one day before your visit.' However, unbeknown to me the tickets were sent to WhatsApp through Dreamtopia. I was never informed that the delivery of tickets was going to change to a different provider.
It was an interesting place, good for photos and posting for teens and young adults - seemed to be what was going on. Mostly digital and light experience. Did not really wow us, but it was not expensive and didn’t take too long.
It was canceled on us. So we had to get our own vendor.
Viator was great to get the tickets through. The activity was good but there was a lot going on. A lot of kids.
Was fun definitely go when it’s not crowed ( early or late )
Team Labs Planet was really worth it! Totally entertaining and fun! Wonderful immersion art experience would recommend for any age! I felt like a kid when we were done!!
We booked with travel agent got there early. We were not allowed in early. It was an excellent experience once we were in.
What an amazing experience! Behind every curtain there was another surprise. My favourite was the garden with gorgeous orchids hanging from the ceiling, loved mirror floors. My daughter was fascinated how her drawing came to life on the walls of the TeamLab. We also ordered the T-shirt with it. Then she loved catching the extinct animals and learn about them. Water part was the favourite, we did it twice:)
Send me a different time rhen confirmed and we needed to stand out in the rain for an hour. Place is unorganized. Sorry.
Disgraceful customer service. Trip advisor cancelled my booking time after I had paid and had confirmation. So check your emails as just because you have confirmation and receipt, it means nothing. This makes planning your trip harder if you want to go to the experience After politely asking for discretion from front desk and the manager refusing to get involved, my daughter and I walked away , disappointed to say the least. Don’t book through trip advisor.
We got there and they would not let us in and said that they could not find our tickets. very disappointed! They said we should not have used an outside vendor. I did get a text from you guys and said that y’all could not provide our tickets and that you would refund our money. I’d expect a total refund to my account.
We loved Team Labs, however Viator failed miserably with our booking and their side operation Dreamtopia. We had 11.30am booked for MONTHS to suit our airport departure, but their outsourced Dreamtopia changed the time the DAY BEFORE to 1pm, and contacted us through WhatsApp instead of the promised email ticket. Massive fail! I will not recommend Viator to ANYONE and will advise others also.
It was a nice experience overall, but if you’ve visited teamLab exhibitions elsewhere, this one feels quite small in comparison. We had visited teamLab Planet in Macau, which was a fantastic experience, so we were hoping to see something new here. Unfortunately, the exhibition was much smaller than the one in Macau.
Very bad. Viator took the money for the team lab planet, but never email the tickets. Viator Ruled the trip I planned for our family.
Really didn’t know what to expect. The whole place wowed me !! So much to experience including sections where u got your feet wet. Amenities there to dry off as well as great signage. The whole day is not what you could expect just do it . They need more food and drink undercover and ideally enclosed for after it’s over though was cold n wet and a long wait for a hot drink
Great experience. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s hard to explain how unique and immersive it is. Wear. Comfortable shoes. Be pressured to remove your socks & shoes. Don’t wear a dress.
Not particularly an easy location as we had to take a train and bus but well worth it! The queuing was tedious too as they held us back a little from our entry time but I guess it was very busy. Also poor loos... 2 out of order on our visit... The exhibits are truly amazing... an emersive experience that messes with your mind a little! We didn't have children with us but those around us had a fantastic time... there are different zones, some requiring you to remove your shoes and socks! But don't worry... the water is warm! It really is well done... the visual effects are stunning with bright colourful imagery and sparkling lights... a must see!
I booked these tickets for my 9 year old son and I based on a recommendation from a coworker. Out of the 4 days we spent in Tokyo, this was one of his favorite activities we did. There are 4 sections (water, garden, forests, and open air) where you can walk at your own pace and interact with all the exhibits. Some exhibits allows you control of the lights by downloading the app and following the instructions. There are lots of lights, a section of water you will walk through, interactive walls, animations, and activities to participate. It was a lot of fun and we spent about 2.5 hours going through the various exhibits. Be sure to bring appropriate clothes for the weather because you may be outside in line a bit prior to entering. Also, your ticket is for a 30 min time slot and you will only be able to enter during that time. They turned people away that were attempting to get in early. Overall, a great time and a memory that kids will have forever. I would recommend it any time, but definitely on a day where it may be raining which is what we did.
There were multiple rooms with amazing walk through and interactive experiences. So fun for kids too. I could have spent more time there but my husband was getting overheated in the last room with the animals you “catch” on a phone app. The picture opportunities were so amazing! Make sure your phone is charged!
It was more than what we expected. We highly recommend visiting. Every room was an amazing experience.
Tickets never sent. Operator was non responsive to me and I was unable to get into Team Labs. I contacted them 5 times while waiting outside freezing. They were not responding to me or support.
Fun place to visit and spend some magical time walking around the different areas. You must remove shoes and socks and walk through calf deep water in one of the display areas.
Incredibly good! Absolutely recommended, not just for children.
One of the absolute musts in Tokyo: immersive digital art in huge spaces, where lights, sounds, and projections react to your movement. In Tokyo there are two different locations, but we went to the teamLab Planets (Toyosu): a more "physical" experience, you enter barefoot and walk in rooms with shallow water, mirrors, and very photogenic installations (floating orchids, digital koi, infinite rooms). Tickets: online purchase mandatory with entry time; indicative prices for adults ~¥3,200–¥3,600 for Planets and ~¥3,800–¥4,800 for Borderless (variable by date/time). Duration: approximately 1h30–2h for Planets, 2–3+ hours for Borderless. Tips: book well in advance, especially on weekends and holidays; for Planets bring shorts or pants that can get wet, for Borderless comfortable shoes.
A truly great and completely immersive experience! From the beginning, some installations are experienced with your feet in the water, which makes the visit even more original. The different themed rooms play with lights, sounds, and even smells, which completely immerses visitors in the universe of each installation. The site is also easily accessible by subway. A visit that I highly recommend during a stay in Tokyo; it is an experience not to be missed!
We booked the ticket in advance, so as not to risk making the trip empty. We knew what we were going to see but it exceeded our expectations. A real show, great experience.
