Narusawa Ice Cave is a cavity that was created after lava flowed out during the eruption of Mount Nagao, a lateral volcano of Mount Fuji, in 864. The temperature inside the cave averages just 3°C, and it is covered in ice all year round. The highlight is the icicles that form when water droplets seep from the ceiling freeze. The ground is also slippery and slippery, so please hold on to the slope and proceed carefully.

very difficult to give a full appraisal as we were affected by Typhoon and Mt Fuji masked by cloud. however clean and roomy car with friendly driver who did his best for us despite the torrential rain. took us to see as many sites as weather allowed and adjusted program. we had a lovely time despite the weather.
Extremely rude driver, would not recommend this company , the first day the van had no air Conditioning but we were given one hour free to compensate for this . Today the van was nicer but the driver was rude.

We had very good time with David . He picked up us from just lobby in early morning in order not to spend much more time in traffic and every pick ups and drops were just on time as he said . He had very comfort and clean mini van , at least he is half Japanese but his English was just as a native . Really appreciate it David

Amazing experience, Ali drove us to many of the best local and popular spots and gave us some great insight to the local culture. Locations were not too crowded for our 10 hour visit. We paid for some of the locations (<1000 JPY in total) but was 100% worth it.

We had an amazing private tour with Tony. Even though the weather was rainy and Mt. Fuji was not visible, Tony helped us make the most of the day and gave us a wonderful experience. He was flexible, patient, and thoughtful with our family of six. He adjusted the itinerary based on the weather and helped us visit Lake Kawaguchi, Oishi Park, Wind Cave, Ice Cave, and Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine. The caves were also very affordable, at 600 yen per adult and 300 yen for children 12 and under. We also stopped at Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba, but it was closed due to the weather, so Tony added a fun stop at Melody Road to make up for it. Super cool! He also found a spot for us to eat a delicious hot pot lunch at a very tasty Korean restaurant and made a quick 7-Eleven stop so we could get snacks for the ride back. Tony was kind and professional, and he made the day feel relaxed instead of rushed. He shared stories and some history as we drove past certain sights along the way. We saw everything we hoped to see and had a beautiful rainy-day Fuji experience. Highly recommend Tony for a private tour!

Amazing tour! We visited Mount Fuji, the Ice Cave, and the Wind Cave. Our guide was great and even took us on Japan’s Melody Road, which was a fun surprise. We also stopped for food and a 7-Eleven on the way back. Everything was well organized and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Our first family trip to Japan and our first tour on this trip could not be more perfect. We had the pleasure of having Ali drive our family to four different sites that allowed views of Mt Fuji from all different views. We spent the day today with Ali going from Tokyo to Mt Fuji. This is our second time having Ali as our driver/guide. He has been fantastic. A pleasure to talk to. Overall is a very pleasant trip with my wife. Althought the wheather is foggy during the event day, we cant really see the Mount Fuji but we have enjoy the japanese culture and beautiful scene together. Mt Fuji was a must see in our Japan trip. We failed to see it going to the Hakone area on our own due to clouds obstructing it, despite the sunny weather. We had to scramble our itinerary to give it a shot a second time another day. Getting a private guide made more sense than joining a group tour because they can adjust the itinerary to the conditions. Once again we had sunny skies leaving Tokyo, but by the time we got to our first stop, Fuji once again was behind the clouds. Our guide, Ali, was fantastic and drove us around to various viewing points until we finally got to the spectacular and completely clear views of Mt Fuji that we were hoping for. We were even able to have lunch at a nice restaurant of our choice. It was the best decision we could have made, and would recommend to anyone.

We failed to see it the previous day on our own from Hakone. We decided we needed professional help and flexibility to change itinerary to deal with Mt Fuji’s temperamental weather. Booked a Mt Fuji tour with Alex in early April our trip was 5/3/26 and it was phenomenal. Easy to talk to. Gave us plenty of options as far as customizing what we would see for how long we would see it. All completely up to us “ my wife and I “ we went during golden week so traffic was more heavy than usual but his driving was great. Best part of the tour was the Mount Fuji view from the lake. We pulled in it was breath taking! Alex recommended getting on a speed boat out for better view and it was AMAZING. Best thing about the trip after that we went to the Uninesco world heritage site Oahu no-Hakka and it was fantastic. The koi ponds and water mills were fantastic! 100% recommend.
So happy we chose a private car. We could decide how long we wanted to stay in places. John the driver was a great driver and spoke English very well. His sidekick for the day was David who was super nice and helpful.
