We really enjoyed this experience. Sushi was superb as was the sake pairing. We learned a lot about sushi and it was such a lovely atmosphere. Absolutely recommend.
Great experience to share with friends and those who have not tried sushi before . Fun and cultural
Its a best sushi experience every sushi well explained. Im not a sushi person but i love it the most! 😊
An amazing experience. Understanding the craft helped appreciate the food even more
Such a fun and wonderful experience with our family! Truly unique and the food was amazing!!
Best sushi experience i have ever had, Moe was amazing, was friendly and explained everything super well as well as fun. Definitely worth a revisit and would love to see the staff again.
Very good food and overall experience
Me and my friends went here on my birhtday and let me tell you it was the best sushi i ever had!
Me and my wife had an amazing experience learning about and trying all different kinds of edomae sushi. It was an amazing birthday experience for her and I recommend anyone who loves sushi to go and have a once in a lifetime experience with Reona!
Beautiful food and hosts. Such an interesting experience with some incredible knowledge about sushi. Sake pairing was lovely. Kids have a separate room to eat and play in too! Five stars 🌟
An absolutely amazing experience. Went with my wife to taste incredible sushi and learn about the history of it. They have a kids room so couples can enjoy the experience. 14 course of the best sushi I’ve had. Would do it again!
Wonderful night! Great way to spend a night in Tokyo!
Everything about this was perfection. The explanation, the presentation, and the taste. Our staff was so very kind and helpful. I will come back on my next visit.
One of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The sushi was exceptional, and the chef and staffs made the experience truly special with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. We especially enjoyed learning about the ingredients, techniques, and stories behind each course. What impressed us most was how family-friendly the experience was. While the adults enjoyed the omakase, our daughter had her own meal and activities, which made the evening enjoyable for everyone. It felt like much more than a meal, it was a memorable cultural experience that our family will always cherish.
This is a truly unique omakase experience for those wishing to not only have excellent sushi, but learn more about it. I went with my 16 year old daughter and it wasn’t as intimidating as some other places but still retained the authentic omakase expedite. I truly have a greater understanding for the art and culture behind sushi. Highly recommend!
Took my 12 year old for a father son experience. The absolute best! We loved every minute. Staff was incredible. Food was unbelievable. .
My family visited Reona Sushi a few weeks ago. We were fortunate to be the only guests for the whole experience thus we received unparalleled attention to our numerous questions. Undoubtedly, you will learn the history or sushi, important cultural aspects that Japan places on the industry and oversll dining etiquette. I highly recommend Reona….and the picture with the Itamae.
We had a really enjoyable evening and it was a great honour to have our food prepared by a sushi master.,Even more special was the fact that the two of got to enjoy the experience on our own. The food was delicious. I was taken out of my comfort zone slightly having to experiment eating sea urchin & eel, but I can honestly say that all 16 dishes were delicious. Having the history behind the sushi art made the evening informative & more personalised. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & we we also enjoyed the Saki wine flight too.
Amazing food wonderful atmosphere
This was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was amazing and we learned so much about the food we ate. Would highly recommend!
A new experience you will not forget. We ultimately chose this restaurant because it was family friendly. Parents got to enjoy wonderful food and conversation and learn so much about Edomae sushi while children enjoyed playing with lego and eating their own lunch within our sight. A date night on a family trip! Staff was very kind to the children and they loved their meals too. Meal accommodated for shrimp allergy. I enjoyed understanding the history of the food I was eating and asking the chef questions. Service was exceptional. My favorite part of the trip to Japan.
Amazing sushi and amazing service! Moe is really knowledgeable and Chef Fujito’s technique is topnotch! Really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant
Amazing experience, amazing food and amazing staff. Nothing bad to say.
Fantastic experience in Japanese Omakase. We had our 5 year old son with us and he learnt a lot about sushi. Would recommend anyone with young kids coming here
1. The food was exceptional - absolutely world-class Omakase, better than anything the West can offer up, with none of the pretentious nonsense that has spoiled American Omakase experiences. 2. To boot, this is likely the only truly "family/kid friendly" high-end Omakase experience you will find. It's a fantastic concept with a dedicated kids room/table and activities, and I think they are onto something big with this as they continue to refine it. Our daughter, almost 3, was mostly well-behaved, but at times definitely behaved like the 3 year old she is. No issue, the staff made us feel welcome and helped entertain her. 3. We had a wonderful time. We cannot express enough our appreciation for the way Moe, Fujito and the team treated our family - ownership please take note of how exceptional your team is. If you are thinking about this, stop thinking and just book it. You will be very happy that you did.
I booked this experience 3 months ahead. Got a message requesting to change the time that I didn’t see until I got to the restuarant at the original time only to find the place closed. Reached out via messaging while heading back to my hotel but didn't hear back for a while only to find they claim eberyone was inside of what I found to be a dark and empty store on arrival. I called and was told if I come back, I could join the meal, but had only 5 minutes before their automatic cancelation time limit. They also claimed to have no more bookings this week to accomodate for their mistake/confusing messaging. They then refused to refund my $171 for a meal they were unable to provide and gave confusing messaging about the event.
Truly a learning experience pair with excellent food., good sake. Highly recommended to include as one of your iternary.
If you are looking for one omakase experience in Tokyo, definitely consider REONA. The high quality ingredients were very fresh and the menu was carefully chosen to reflect Edo-style sushi. The dinner was accompanied by various explanations and short videos on the rich cultural history of sushi. The dinner ended with a traditional green tea/red bean Japanese dessert along with a charming tea made with Sakura flowers. The staff at REONA have clearly put a lot of time and effort into delivering a memorable experience for their guests; a wonderful two hours enjoyed. I look forward to bringing friends and family to REONA the next time I am in Tokyo.
Very fun and knowledgeable experience overall. Food was great too! Recommend trying this place out when ure in Tokyo :)
A very wonderful dining experience . Went looking for great food and a little education on sushi traditions. We got both. Very casual atmosphere. Would be great for a group of friends.
What a great experience! Walking you thru the history of sushi, how it’s made, and what it takes to serve sushi. The atmosphere was also excellent.
Excellent experience to learn and enjoy sushi from lovely teacher and fine chef. Left with a knowledge that will enhance my enjoyment of sushi from now on.
I don't even like fish. I went for the sake but, I enjoyed every dish. It was fun learning about the process of making authentic sushi. It is worth the money.
Very great experience Moe Fujito and Ayalea were very kind and knowledgeable. Super friendly and funny. Learned a lot and had a great time. 10/10 Sushi and Sake.
Very enlightening experience, hosts and chef were all very friendly and knowledgeable. You will leave knowing more about sushi than when you entered! Highly recommend!!
What can I say… AMAZING! Family friendly! We came with a 3 year old and 7 year old and they had their own room to play in! If you have kids this is a MUST GO!
Very nice, good tasting sushi. Friendly staff who also explain how sushi is made, how to eat it and where the fish is from.
This was the best sushi I've ever had and we eat a lot of sushi in our home country of Canada. Moe was an excellent hostess who spoke very good English and delivered a great educational experience about the history, traditions and how to eat sushi properly. Fujita seasoned the sushi perfectly... there were no soy sauce bottles anywhere. Sake was generously poured and matched the different fish textures and flavours. Many varieties of fish were served I've never had before. Highly recommend as an experience, not just a meal. While seemingly expensive, it is worth every dollar and is not off the mark for Omekaze service in general. This Omekaze was an elevated version.
As a sushi fanatic from USA, this experience was superb and enlightening. The time blew through and every bite was delicious. The hostess was extremely knowledgeable and engaging and helped us connect with the chef in a special way. Well worthwhile. Also , I recommend the Sake pairing—they do not hold back here 😅
One of the best sushi experiences I’ve had. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff and chef definitely made this a memorable dinner.
Great experience. The chef is an artist and very passionate about his craft. The manager did a really good job walking through the history and process for each dish. Highly recommend it
Best sushi hands down! 🫡 The chef deserves so much respect for the amount of skill it takes! Love the Sushi chef! I like everything about the restaurant.
Amazing experience. Such friendly people and great food. We learnt so much more than we expected. Thank you for such a great time.
Great experience. One of the most memorable meals we have had. Knowledge and they take the time to explain the ingredients and history behind the food
Excellent sushi and an immersive learning experience. Lots of background info on the how and why of sushi making and you get to ask an experienced sushi chef all the things you ever wondered. Highly recommended!
At first we dont know if this place food or not , but after we come, we found out it pretty good. The beer is good too, the best one of me is the toro and the last one I like it alot
REONA Sushi is a unique sushi journey that celebrates Chef Fujito’s artistry, the quality of the ingredients, and the history. The atmosphere is welcoming and minimalistic, with polite and attentive service from Moe, the service manager. She described each course and answered questions about the different types of fish and preparation methods. The sushi is defined by simplicity and quality. Each piece is a masterpiece of balance and flavor. My preference for Uni, after tasting both frozen and fresh versions, changed for the better. The rice (shari) presentation and presentations on fish was very informative. The added photo with a REONA chef’s coat and Chef Mujito is a wonderful keepsake. Dining at REONA is a must-visit for anyone who wants an authentic educational sushi experience. Thank you, Chef Mujito and Moe, for a memorable experience in Tokyo!
Amazing experience! The detailed curated show is a must have for sushi fans! Thank you to the team for the awesome show! <3
Highly recommend, went alone but the staff there made me feel welcome. Sushi experience was good too, learned a lot about the history of sushi and rice.
