Physical training, martial arts and climbing techniques for entering castles were all a part of the education. Some believed Ninja could walk on water, become invisible and even fly. Who would not want to be Ninja? Now you can experience the mysterious world when you visit the Samurai and Ninja Museum in Japan. Residents and visitors alike can delight in the Ninja realm. You will learn about Ninja in Japan’s history and what kind of weapons and tools were used as they carried out covert missions. Your transformation into Ninja begins with the staff that will help you to choose and dress in traditional attire for your experience. To top off the experience, you will have a photo shoot while dressed as Ninja. With an authentic background for your photos, you will appear to have stepped out of Japanese folklore. ！Children under 3 can not join the ninja experience, they can enter the venue.！ ！This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers！
Yup was great energy, lovely with kids that were there, and the activities were tougher than you think! Lots of chances for photos too. I did the complete experience and the sword is also excellent!

The Ninja experience was so fun! Kenny, our instructor, was funny and he stressed the importance of safety when necessary. Me, my husband, and our teenage sons all had a great time. Blow darts were a family fave! They also have some pretty awesome souvenirs. We picked up a couple very nice and high quality replica samurai swords. The museum tour is very interesting as well. Side note: as somebody who also takes a lot of girls trips, this is definitely girls trip worthy.

This was an amazing experience. Our guide (Momo) was knowledgeable and friendly. The experience was almost ruined due to another guest's family member was not listening to the tour guide's instructions. But our tour guide handled it perfectly. If another opportunity exists, my family and I would definitely go back and visit the Samurai Ninja Museum in Asakusa.
We had a really great time doing the Ninja experience at the museum! It was one of the best parts of our trip to Japan as a family of 4 (myself, my husband, and our 8 and 11 year old kids)! Bonus to stop by the Mister Donut afterwards

Wonderful experience with kids. Cute and fun and not too long of a commitment if you’re trying to fit a bunch in. Kids had a great time and I got some really fun photos to remember. Guided tour was animated and engaging. Little packed in… so if you’re claustrophobic, make other plans.
We learned a lot and the guide was entertaining as well as informative. I loved how interactive this museum was. They had excellent displays.
This was a good thing to do with a almost 4 year old. Fun for the parent too ! We had to miss the history part as our son was in a state.
Fun hands on experience! Got Ninja training and learned about samurai’s and robins, as well as seeing authentic weapons and armor! Kids has a blast!
I booked this experience for my 9yo so who is obsessed with ninjas and I wasn’t really enthused about doing this activity. But, I’m not sure who had more fun a great experience and very friendly staff. The museum tour was informative. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed this tour, our guide was full of information and energy. Leant a lot about the Samurai and Shogun era and why it stopped There wasn't as much information about Ninjas but we did have a great time throwing ninja stars with varying degrees of accuracy!!
Cool experience to do, the kids loved learning how to be a ninja and really enjoyed themselves. They learnt a lot about being a ninja.

The tour with Nami was really good. She was very energetic and funny. We learnt plenty of things about Japan history and the Samurai. Definitely something to try if you are in Toyko.

Amazing experience with all aged kids from teenagers to they went out of thier way to make my 4 year feel part of everything
We participated in the English-guided tour and appreciated the Japanese guide’s enthusiasm and passion. However, we found it a bit challenging to clearly understand the guide due to some pronunciation issues. Regarding the ninja star throwing session, we noticed that safety measures could be improved. 15 to 20 participants were standing quite close to each other, which could pose a risk if someone were to throw at an unintended angle. It might be helpful to ensure that each throw is limited to a few at a time, while the others especially the children waiting to try their throw should be arranged to stand further away to ensure safety for everyone.

Izu was an awesome ninja instructor who inspired everyone he taught. His skills were unmatched, and he had an incredible way of breaking down even the most complex moves into simple steps that anyone could follow. Training with Izu was never boring because he combined discipline with fun, keeping his students motivated and excited to learn. He was patient, encouraging, and always pushed his students to do their best while believing in their potential. His lessons went beyond martial arts, teaching focus, respect, and confidence. Anyone who trained under Izu left feeling stronger, wiser, and grateful for his guidance.
