We visited Japan from California. It was my wife, our 4 kids and myself. It was our first international trip — Jan and Shamem were our guides and drivers, I can't say enough good things about them. Shamem picked us up from the airport when we first arrived. Jan dropped us back off for an extremely early morning flight. He was very patient and helped us load up all of our luggage and even stoped at 711 for the kids. That alone took so much stress off us. He made us feel comfortable and safe so far from home! We toured a bunch of places and Mt. Fuji with him, and he was life changing . He translated for us on multiple occasions, kept the kids engaged, and even rescued us when we got lost at a train station — calmly getting us right back on track like it was no big deal. June went truly above and beyond in every way. If you're going to Japan, book him. We came as tourists and left feeling like we had a friend in Japan which meant everything to us as parents traveling with small children.

Our Mt. Fuji trip was such a beautiful experience, and a big part of it was thanks to our wonderful guide and driver, Noa! 🇯🇵🗻 Noa is very knowledgeable about the area. He shared interesting information about the places we visited, suggested other things to do during our trip, and recommended great places to eat. He was pleasant, accommodating, and thoughtful, making sure our family felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the journey. We truly appreciated his service and the care he put into making our trip memorable. I would highly recommend Noa to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and friendly guide and driver for Mt. Fuji or other tourist destinations around Tokyo. Thank you, Noa, for making our family trip such a wonderful experience! If we come back to Japan, we will definitely reach out to you again. Until next time! ❤️🇯🇵
It was a great exercise. Specially the customer service. Also we were lucky enough to see MT fuji with a clear sky. Thank you so much for the incredible experience. WE Would come back again and use your service
Our tour guide and driver, Noa was very knowledgeable and friendly. Provided good advice about what was possible to fit into the day considering the extra traffic on the holiday weekend. There is a lot of time in the car but fortunately the vehicle was very comfortable and Noa answered all our questions along the way. Thanks Noa.
What an awesome time seeing Mr. Fuji and had an incredible driver/guide named Sato! He was incredibly knowledgeable and enjoyed all the places he took us. We so lucked out with the weather also! Mt. Fuji was just spectacular! I highly recommend booking a private tour. So worth it!
Our driver Bhalli was terrific. Message night before advising best to be picked up at 6am instead of 7.30am to make sure we got a amazing view of Mt Fuji and he was 100% right. Views & family memories for lifetime. Bhalli is also a fantastic at taking family photos. Highly recommend Bhalli as your driver.
This tour has many choices but large distances. You can realistically only do Hakone or Fuji area. Or about 6 to 7 quick stops of both.
Our driver picked us up at our Fuji area hotel at 10:00 am with a drop off time of 3:00 pm. We agreed to the following itinerary. Suggested Itinerary (A) 10AM Pick up from Fuji area Hakone Ropeway Owakudani valley Lake Ashi + Cruise Hakone Shrine 15:00 drop off is in Fuji area It took about two hours to drive to the Ropeway with a quick stop for gas along the way. I expect drivers to be better prepared! This only gave us about 1 hour 20 minutes to buy tickets and experience the Ropeway. There was not enough time for the Lake Ashi and Cruise. We had to insist on seeing Hakone Shrine as Sam was adamant that it would take too long and we should just take a walk by the lake for 20 minutes instead. While Sam was a good driver, he is not a tour guide and only offered information if we had a question. When I asked if he usually worked alone or with a guide, he said that we would have had to request a guide ahead of time. The tour information states that pick up in Fuji area is between 9:30 and 10:00 and drop off is between 3:00 and 4:00. If the tour begins at the latest time, one should not expect it to end at the earliest time. We also questioned why the toll roads weren’t taken. Google Maps said that it would have saved up to 20 minutes each way. This tour over promised what was possible in the amount of time available.
Wonderful experience Our guide Adnan was very helpful during the entire trip, flexible and very friendly. We laughed a lot together.
Communication from tour company was professional and organised. Driver was on time and car was clean and very comfortable. Unknowingly we booked tour on the culture day holiday in tokyo which meant a visit to mt fuji on this particular day was popular with locals as well. This is a 10 hour tour which includes travel time. Meaning because of the traffic delays our time at mt fuji and surrounds was therefore limited at no fault of the company or guide. Adnan did a great job navigating us to see the sights within the time frame given. We were very lucky we had a beautiful, clear day at mt fuji and were able to capture some great photos of the cone. There were many hours in the car to and from. Adnan, our driver and guide, was very friendly and had lots of good conversation and laughs. Even though it was a long day - we thoroughly enjoyed our tour and recommend Adnan who made the long day pleasurable.
Adnan was a great tour guide, definitely would recommend for future groups that want visit, enjoy, and learn about Mt Fuji!
We had an incredible Mt. Fuji day tour with Adnan as our guide, and we can’t recommend him highly enough! From the moment he picked us up at our hotel in Tokyo, Adnan made the entire experience smooth, enjoyable, and unforgettable. He took us to the iconic 5th Station and several beautiful spots around the mountain, sharing fascinating insights along the way. Adnan was incredibly patient with our group of eight, never once did we feel rushed. He was warm, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. His calm and friendly nature made the day feel relaxed and fun from start to finish. If you’re planning a Mt. Fuji tour, don’t think twice, Adnan is the guide you want. Highly, highly recommended
The entire tour was so beautiful, especially our driver Sam was very friendly and took us to the most eye catching spots around mount fuji from where the mount Fuji view was amazing. He managed the timing so well that we were able to cover up almost all the popular places. He even recommended us popular dishes to try from there. And their service was top notch, the driver always cared for our needs as we had a baby with us too.
Make sure to check weather. Bring cash. Bring a handheld fan and an umbrella. And more importantly, pack bottles of water.
I am going to start with the slightly awkward bit. When I first tried to schedule the tour, a Bangladeshi country code phone number reached out to me to talk through the choices on the customizable tour. I was pretty disappointed. I wanted someone, who lived in Japan, who had experienced these places, and knew the best time of day to see each place, knew which places would have flowers blooming that month, which vendors had delicious food or great products, and other local specific insights. How could anyone have local insights from 4800 km away? I almost abandoned the reservation. I am so glad I didn't. The tour guide, Sam, was amazing. I submitted my intended itinerary and he completely changed the order of visits the morning of the tour. Mt Fuji is notoriously shy in June (The previous year, only 4 days were good to see Fuji in June). Sam understood the weather conditions and that we might have a chance to see Fuji so he recommended a completely different itinerary schedule. This was the local expertise that I was hoping for. He had recommendations for each place. To wait to buy ice cream until we visited Oishi Park. Specific spots to take photos, pointing out little spots along the drive to make sure that we were paying attention. To get the fantastic fresh ginger tea drink on the way up the stairs to the pagoda. Sam was an absolute treasure and made the trip worth it. And due to his expertise, we actually go to see Fuji on the trip. It was raining all morning; we thought we had no hope but Sam knew better. What an incredible trip. The Hakone ropeway was fantastic. Even in the rain, the experience coming across the sulfur vents in the Owakudani Valley was incredible. Iyashi-no-Sato Village was beautiful. This was an incredible experience.
Our tour guide Prosper was superb. We are so grateful and satisfied with our tour and the experiences we had today. Prosper provided great conversation on our way to the Mt. Fuji area where we walked up and climbed the steps to the Pagoda to get the most beautiful pictures of Mt. Fuji and the local area. The traditional Japanese Village was truly a great place to visit and the Cafe Proper recommended for lunch was exceptional. Food was very good and service was excellent. I highly recommend this tour and Prosper as the tour guide. Best tour ever in Japan.
Our tour started with a foggy morning and we were not expecting that Mt Fuji will be visible , but surprisingly it turned out to be clear once we got closer to the location. Our tour guide Sam brought us to the perfect spots to enjoy the Mt. Fuji view. Sam did a great job in providing us with an amazing day tour. He is accommodating and we appreciate the flexibility and the convenience of having a private tour. We are looking forward to booking with Sam again in the future.
Great experience with Anique. Very attentive and flexible for suggestions. Even though the weather was very muggy we had a great time.
It was a lovely tour! Our driver Anique was excellent! Punctual, a safe driver and helped adapt the tour for us seniors with walking difficulties. He went the extra mile to ensure our safety and comfort. Thank you
Our driver/guide Anique was excellent! He was punctual, drove very safely and was really helpful. He recognized that we were seniors with difficulty in walking and adapted the tour to our needs e.g. avoiding steps and difficult terrain. He went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and safety. Thank you!
Thank you Anique for very kind attention all day long 🙏✨ you realized our desires and drive us safely 🙏✨ Thank you for your very good services !
Our tour took us to see Mt Fuji. Our driver was Prosper was super. He was knowledgeable, personable and on time. He gave us a wonderful time seeing many sites along the way.
Great Tour , Collen was an incredible guide. The car was big and clean. The service was excellent. Very well spoken driver with great driving skills. Highly recommend This company and driver. We booked a tour the day before with private driver and this was a much better experience and company.
We had a fabulous time on our tour of Mt. Fuji with Ikisaki Tours! We are thankful we decided to book this tour service. Everything was well-thought out and communication was great. Our driver Ayan Ali was wonderful. He was very professional, punctual, a great communicator, and helped us figure out the logistics every step of the way. He was also very flexible and accommodating. Every attempt was made to customize and personalize the experience to our satisfaction. One of our destinations had an unforeseen road closure which was disappointing but Ayan Ali and the tour operator made sure we substituted in another really memorable destination. The ride to our destinations were comfortable, the vehicle was spacious and clean. It was an unforgettable experience that will live on in our memories and we are grateful we booked this tour!
A pleasant and wonderful trip . The different views of mt Fuji and the lake was a wonderful experience something to cherish for a long time to come
It was a nice day tour. We had a good time. Eating black egg at Hakone was unique experience. Our driver Ali was very nice and helpful.
Sam was an awesome driver and guide. He was punctual, attentive, knowledgeable, and great with my kids. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and we could not see Mt. Fuji that day, but Sam made sure we saw everything else we could. The private tour is 100% worth it and the accommodations were very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend the tour and Sam as the guide/driver. We will be back!
I recently had the misfortune of booking a tour to Mt. Fuji with this company, and I can say it was one of the worst travel experiences I've ever had. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! First, I received a message from a customer service representative named "Max" the day before the tour. To my surprise, the phone he used had a country code for Bangladesh. Alarm bells started ringing when we then received a message from the driver, who also introduced himself as "Max." However, on WhatsApp, his name was listed as "Hossen." Then another call from customer representative or manager from a different phone number from Bangladesh. He assured us that he will help with itinerary arrangements but refer to the driver as “Leo.” At this point, we were utterly confused and concerned about the legitimacy of our tour. On the day of the tour, we received no updates from the provider (a huge red flag), and after waiting outside our hotel for a grueling 30 minutes, we finally got a call from Max-Hossen-Leo. He informed us he was stuck in traffic and that we would have to wait at least another 50 minutes. That's when we decided enough was enough. We canceled the trip and had to scramble to change our plans last minute. It was incredibly disappointing, especially since the weather was perfect for seeing Mt. Fuji that day. I urge you to avoid this provider at all costs. Save yourself the time and turmoil. There are much better options out there!
The tour guide was very reliable and very experienced in what he does. We were able to see Mount Fuji from a variety of angles whilst visiting shrines and landmarks. I would highly recommend the tour since it saves a lot of time and money
As an avid photographer, I was thrilled to book this customizable tour. The guide, Leo, understood exactly what I wanted and took me to the best hidden spots for capturing Mt. Fuji from unique angles. From Chureito Pagoda to a less crowded viewpoint by Lake Saiko, every stop was picture-perfect. She even timed our visit to coincide with the sunset at Lake Kawaguchi, creating a magical end to the day. This tour is perfect for anyone who wants a tailored experience and expert guidance to maximize their trip.
Mt Fuji it’s a beautiful and amazing mountain, how Jehovah God made creation a wonderful mountain. It’s a beautiful spot for the tourists so rounding has a lot of business, like a Japanese food a different variety, gives away . A lot of people want to see this Mt Fuji this is a most well popular of Japan spot, very nice and amazing places.
This private Mount Fuji tour was truly a dream come true. The views of Mount Fuji from different vantage points were breathtaking. The itinerary was well-organized, and we were able to explore beautiful spots at our own pace without feeling rushed. Everything about the experience felt personalized, and the memories we made will last a lifetime. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting an unforgettable adventure!
The views on this tour were absolutely amazing! We visited several stunning locations, each offering a unique perspective of Mount Fuji. From serene lakes to peaceful gardens, every spot was picture-perfect. The guide gave us plenty of time to soak in the beauty and take photos. I highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for an amazing way to explore Mount Fuji!
Our first visit to Japan was an incredible experience. The country is rich in culture, and the people are incredibly kind and respectful. We had the opportunity to visit several places with stunning views of Mount Fuji. Our driver was especially kind and accommodating, adjusting the tour to fit our requests. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the iconic snow-capped peak of Mount Fuji, as the snow hadn't begun to accumulate yet. However, it was still a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our family. Thanks to the tour operator, we had an unforgettable time.
First of all I loved this trip. The mount fuji is very clear to see. The driver was very knowledgeable and kind. His english was excellent, he helped us finding the japanese food and drinks we wanted. I took route 3, and it was really fun. And the car was very clean and smells good. company is very professional they provide us water bottles as complimentary. Highly recommended this company for the mount fuji tour.
One of the best and memorable tour for me and my family. We really enjoyed all the itineraries. We took route- 1 and it was really outstanding. Mount fuji was very clear to see with autumn leaves.
