We had a great day out visiting Mt Fuji and the surrounding area. With an early pick up at hotel, we got to the first viewing point before the crowds arrived. We were lucky enough to get a really good clear view and our guide made it simple navigation to the best viewing point and also recommended a great lunch spot.

Arakurayama Sengen Park is a beautiful park known for its stunning views of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding area. The park is home to the famous Chureito Pagoda, a five-story pagoda that offers one of the most iconic photo opportunities of the mountain. To reach the pagoda, visitors climb 398 steps, which lead to panoramic views of Fuji Five Lakes, the surrounding mountains, and the town below. The park’s well-maintained paths, seasonal gardens, and scenic overlooks provide plenty of opportunities for walking, photography, and enjoying the outdoors. Arakurayama Sengen Park is ideal for travelers who want to combine nature and classic Japanese scenery with Mt. Fuji photography in one stop.
Oishi Park is a scenic lakeside park on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, offering some of the best views of Mt. Fuji with the lake in the foreground. The park features walking paths along the lake, seasonal flower gardens, and open spaces that are perfect for photography or a relaxing stroll. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom along the paths, creating a beautiful frame for Mt. Fuji. In summer, the park is known for lavender fields, while autumn brings red kokia shrubs against the backdrop of the mountain. The park also has cafés and shops where visitors can enjoy local snacks and refreshments while taking in the scenery. Oishi Park is ideal for travelers who want to combine lakeside views, seasonal flowers, and stunning Mt. Fuji photography in a peaceful and accessible setting.
Lake Kawaguchiko is one of the Fuji Five Lakes and one of the best places to enjoy clear, postcard-like views of Mt. Fuji. It’s peaceful, easy to access, and surrounded by cafés, small shops, and hot spring (onsen) facilities where you can relax while taking in the view of the mountain. The lake is known for its mirror-like reflection of Mt. Fuji on calm days, making it a favorite for photographers. The lake is also known for its seasonal scenery — cherry blossoms in spring, colorful foliage in autumn, and snow-capped peaks in winter — making Kawaguchiko a year-round destination. Visitors can enjoy a short boat cruise, walk along the lakeshore, relax at lakeside cafés, or simply enjoy the quiet atmosphere and natural beauty that define this area.
Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nemba is a traditional Japanese village located near Lake Saiko, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and views of Mt. Fuji. The village was rebuilt after a landslide in the 1960s and now serves as an open-air museum that recreates the atmosphere of old Japan. You can explore thatched-roof houses, each converted into small museums, galleries, and workshops where local artists display handmade crafts such as pottery, textiles, and washi paper. Some houses also offer kimono or samurai armor dress-up experiences, making it a fun and interactive stop for all ages. It’s a relaxing place to walk around, take photos, and learn about traditional Japanese life and architecture while enjoying a quiet view of Mt. Fuji in the background.
(Optional) Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine in Fujiyoshida, located at the northern base of Mt. Fuji. Dedicated to Konohanasakuya-hime, the goddess of Mt. Fuji, the shrine has been a place of worship and pilgrimage for over 1,000 years. It also serves as the traditional starting point for climbing Mt. Fuji along the Yoshida Trail. Visitors enter through a large red torii gate and walk along a cedar-lined path leading to the main shrine buildings, surrounded by a peaceful forest. The atmosphere is calm and spiritual, offering a glimpse into Japan’s deep cultural connection with Mt. Fuji. It’s an ideal stop for those who want to experience Japan’s cultural heritage and natural beauty in one setting.
(Optional) Narusawa Ice Cave is a unique natural lava cave located in the Aokigahara Forest in the northen base of Mt. Fuji, formed by an ancient volcanic eruption. The cave is known for its cool underground environment and natural ice formations, which remain even during the summer. Visitors descend through a narrow entrance and explore a short route through the dark, rocky lava passages. Inside, you can see unusual lava formations, narrow tunnels, and sections where ice has formed along the walls and floor. Its naturally cool temperature makes it a refreshing stop in summer, while the combination of volcanic rock and underground ice offers a different experience from the surrounding Mt. Fuji scenery. Narusawa Ice Cave is ideal for travelers who want to explore Mt. Fuji’s volcanic landscape from a different perspective and enjoy a short, unique adventure in the forests of the Fuji region.
(Optional) Oshino Hakkai is a traditional village known for its eight spring fed ponds with exceptionally clear water, fed by melted snow from Mt. Fuji. The water is considered sacred and exceptionally pure, making this a popular spot for photography, reflection, and experiencing a quieter side of Japanese rural life. Also, the ponds are home to koi fish and other freshwater life. Visitors can stroll around the village and enjoy local shops and street food. At designated ponds, you can even taste the pure spring water while taking in views of Mt. Fuji. The village also features historic samurai houses and a small open-air museum, offering a glimpse into traditional Japanese life. The combination of water, greenery, and thatched-roof houses creates a serene and picturesque atmosphere. Oshino Hakkai is a World Heritage Site and an ideal place to experience traditional Japan, scenic natural beauty, and Mt. Fuji views in a peaceful environment.
(Optional) Gotemba Premium Outlets is one of Japan’s most popular outlet malls, located near Mt. Fuji. It features over 200 Japanese and international brand stores in a relaxing open-air setting with beautiful views of Mt. Fuji. It’s a great place to take a short break, enjoy a coffee or meal, and shop for souvenirs or fashion items before returning.
(Optional) Located about 2,300 meters above sea level, Mt. Fuji’s Subaru Line 5th Station is the highest point reachable by car and one of the most popular viewing areas on the mountain. From here, you can see Mt. Fuji’s peak up close and enjoy panoramic views of the Fuji Five Lakes area and surrounding landscapes. The 5th Station is also the starting point for the Yoshida Trail, but even if you’re not climbing, it’s a great place to experience the mountain’s atmosphere. You’ll find small shops, restaurants, and the historic Komitake Shrine, offering a nice balance of nature and local culture. Access is via the Fuji Subaru Line, a scenic toll road through the forest (the toll fee is included in your tour). Depending on weather or season, private vehicles may be restricted, in which case shuttle buses are used. Either way, it’s an easy and enjoyable way to get close to Japan’s most iconic mountain.

We took an all day tour with Lucas from Yokohama Private Tours. He picked us up directly at our hotel in Tokyo and drove us to the Mt. Fuji/Hakone area. He customized the tour to meet our needs and was very respectful of the fact that my wife did not want to climb many stairs or walk long distances due to mobility issues. We did the Hakone ropeway, where Lucas met us at the next stop, we went to lake Ashi, had an authentic lunch in town and then went to the Hakone Open Air Sculpture Museum, which was amazing. We had great conversations with Lucas about Japanese and American customs and history. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the best vantage points for seeing great sights. He was an absolute pleasure and we would gladly use his services again on a future visit.
Lucas was all around a wonderful guide. He arrived on time and gave the extra mile throughout the whole tour. He even included places that interested me and I did not know were around the area. We had the best typical Japanese lunch at a local restaurant, very homey and warm environment. Just the kind of experience to create fantastic memories.
We had a really wonderful time on our tour with James. He was very willing to customize the tour to our liking. Our favorite part was going to the 5th station on Mt Fuji (the highest point a private vehicle can drive in Japan). James speaks English very well so it was easy to communicate with him. I highly recommend this tour. It was our favorite of all the several tours we took in Japan
A wonderful driving tour from Hakone seeing many beautiful sights on the way to the iconic Mt Fuji. Our very friendly, knowledgeable guide Ronel took us to many great vantage points so we could take the perfect photo. We throughly enjoyed the luxury vechicle with comfortble seats and large windows for excellent viewing. Thank you Ronel for taking such care and consideration in looking after us. Many thanks Patricia
We had a fantastic tour of all the popular Mt Fuji spots! Ronel was lovely and so knowledgeable. Would recommend to folks looking for private tours.
Lucas was our tour guide to Mt. Fuji and my wife and I had a fantastic time! Lucas was on time for departure and drove us in a very well featured and comfortable ride in a luxury van. He provided snacks and drinks for the day. We stopped at several points of interest, the first was a walk to a pagoda high up and gave us a great view of Mt. Fuji. Lucas was great photographer taking pictures of us like seen online and in books. Other stops around Mt. Fuji included visits to lakes and villages that we really enjoyed. The surrounding area is beautiful and we would not how known the sites Lucas to us to if we had gone on our own. Throughout the trip Lucas told us a wide variety of knowledge he knew of the history of this region. I just want to say that we were very happy to have booked this tour, and thank you very much Lucas. We really appreciate your time all day!!!
Very fun experience. Our driver guide was excellent. She was engaged with us the whole time and spoke perfect English.
The guide, Lucas was Excellent++! He was very knowledgeable, spoke very good English and overall, a very smart young man. We enjoyed our day that we were with him, and I would highly recommend this tour!
This was an incredible experience! Lucas was amazing and catered the trip to meet our needs. We highly recommend this tour
Our day tour to Mount Fuji exceeded all my expectations! Our guide Lucas was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. Immediately after booking the day, we communicated via email, and Lucas helped us plan our itinerary. His suggestion to leave early helped us avoid the crowds and resulted in a relaxed, very enjoyable day. We were so lucky to see Mount Fuji on a clear day! Lucas accompanied us at each stop and explained the history and cultural aspects to us, which was so appreciated. Thank you, Lucas, for making this day so special for us!
Yokohama private tours arranged a 2 day custom tour with driver/guide for my family in the Mt Fuji/Hakone area. It was very easy to arrange and it gave us the flexibility to get picked up and dropped off at different locations which suited our travel plans the best. Lucas was very easy to work with during the planning stage. We had Yuriko as our drive. She was prompt, courteous, very helpful and worked with us to adjust plans based on weather and traffic conditions. It took out that stress and allowed us to enjoy our time without any worries. Yuriko made helpful suggestions for places to visit and eat at. She was fun to travel with. I would definitely recommend this service for added flexibility and comfort.
Lucas is an amazing guide. He picked us up on time at our hotel in Hakone and we did a tour of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding sites. Lucas is fluent in 3 languages including English and is from Japan. He is also very friendly and is incredibly knowledgeable about all things Japan. My family and I learned a ton and saw some amazing sites. Highly recommended!
Amazing day around mount Fuji with Lucas as our guide. We took the tour at the beginning of our trip to Japan, so it was also really great to learn about Japan's history as we were visiting the various sites around mount Fuji. Unfortunately, the day was cloudy and we did not get to see mount Fuji despite our guide's best efforts, but we felt it was still worth it thanks to Lucas' knowledge of the region and history.
Lucas is a fantastic tour guide. He is so easy to talk to, very flexible and is a wealth of knowledge. I had such a fun time even though weather wasn’t great around Mount Fuji. If you don’t mind the early start I highly recommended the 5 am start time. We hit no traffic and pretty much had everywhere to ourselves before the tour buses start to arrive. We were then back in Tokyo around 1:30 pm.
We were a family of four on a 10 day trip of a lifetime to Japan! This tour was simply amazing! I booked with Yokohama Private tours due to our tour guide's (Lucas) prompt response and willingness to accommodate the customization of the tour. We were traveling from Tokyo to Osaka and wanted to see the Mt. Fuji on our way - which is not an easy to get to via public transportation and 12 pieces of luggage/bags. We booked the Alphard Toyota van - which was quite luxurious and comfortable for our 10 hour tour. We made arrangements for Lucas to pick us up from our hotel with all of our luggage and got to relax after days of navigating public transport in Tokyo. It was very nice being driven around by someone who knew the area well. Lucas was incredibly knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and was an awesome safe driver. In addition to seeing traditional tourist spots (Lake Kawaguchi and Chureita Pagoda), we stopped for lunch at a small traditional restaurant (delicious). Lucas then helped us find the small fishing village where my Grandmother spent her childhood - Matsunaga Village, Numazu, Shizuoka prefecture. He researched and help us find the beach where she played! This was an incredible memory for us. At the end of our tour, Lucas dropped us off at the Fuji Shinkansen station, helping us figure out the tickets/entry, before we parted ways. I highly recommend Lucas of Yokohama Private Tours! If and when we return, I would book again in a heartbeat! Worth every yen spent!
We didn't get to see Mount Fuji (weather), but I'm so happy we took the trip! Yuriko and Mr. Saito picked my family and friends up at our hotel at 6 AM, and the adventure began. From the start, Lucas and Yokohama Private Tours had been communicative and making sure the trip was setup to our request, even including checking for food allergies. We came during the height of rainy season, so it rained most of the day. But that didn't matter. My van (Toyota Alphard - highly recommend!) was driven by Yuriko, and it was so nice to hear about this and that. Fun facts, answers to any questions we came up with, everything. She was very interactive and personable. I can't speak for the van that Mr. Saito drove, but from what I've gathered, he was great as well! When we got to our stops, Yuriko would go with us and answer any questions we had. Part of the trip was to take my daughter's "5th Birthday" pictures, and Yuriko would help us with suggestions of places to make it great. One of the benefits to going during the rain: LESS PEOPLE. Maple Corridor had no one there (granted is most popular in autumn). Oishi Park had beautiful flowers and Lake Kawaguchiko. Chureito Pagoda did not disappoint even with overcast sky. The steps are NO JOKE 😆. And even sans Mount Fuji, Honcho St. was beautiful. By the time we started traveling back, we wanted to ask Yuiko and Mr. Saito to be our personal guides the rest of our Tokyo trip, but honestly, it was more of a, "Hey, friends, would you want to hang out?" They were great, and we were sad or trip was coming to an end, but fully satisfied with everything. We didn't get to see Mount Fuji, but that just means we need to come back and try again. And I'll tell you what, I won't hesitate to look at another trip with Yokohama Private Tours with Lucas and his crew! And I'll recommend them to ANYONE I encounter that is going to be heading to Japan! Thank you, Lucas, Yuriko, and Mr. Saito!
Our tour was amazing. Lucas is a fantastic guide, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. We were traveling as a family of 7, and Lucas had no problem with that size group. We upgraded to a larger passenger van for comfort, and that was a great suggestion. Lucas also provided his suggested itinerary but adapted it to our needs with no issues at all. I highly recommend Yokohama Private Tours, and Lucas specifically!
We had a fabulous day from start to finish with Luke who was extremely friendly and professional. Highlight views of Mt Fuji, lunch at a local restaurant and a great end to the day at a traditional Onsen. Can’t recommend Luke highly enough.
We had a wonderful private tour of Mount Fuji with Lucas. He was incredibly helpful in finding us the best possible view on the day, which turned out to be the only clear visible view of Mount Fuji. He also took us to an authentic local place for lunch, which we really enjoyed. Lucas spoke excellent English and shared lots of interesting and fun facts throughout the trip. His car was very comfortable, and he kindly provided complimentary snacks and drinks, which was a lovely touch. He also took us to some great spots for family photos and was patient, friendly, and helpful the entire time. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend Lucas to anyone looking for a private Mount Fuji tour. And yes, Lucas is Japanese — don’t let the name fool you!
The perfect Mt. Fuji experience! This tour could not have been better. Our guide Lucas was so kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic, making a unique itinerary based off our interests. We set our start time for 6:30 a.m., and, even though it might seem early, it was perfect. We missed morning rush hour traffic and took in some beautiful views before the clouds and crowds formed. We got to see so many different locations and views around Mt. Fuji, ranging from iconic selfie spots, to beautiful flower fields, to an outdoor traditional village museum, to even a sake brewery. Suffice it to say, this tour had it all and is a must do for anyone visiting.
We had an outstanding experience with Yokohama Private Tours (YPT) during our trip to Asia, and equally important, even before we arrived in Japan. We have explored many countries, and planning an in-depth and extensive international trip can sometimes be challenging. From our very first inquiry with YPT, Lucas was responsive and answered our questions promptly, professionally, and his English was excellent. He helped us build a customized itinerary and his attention to detail was very impressive. Equally important, was his knowledge of Japan and his recommendations of what to see so as to make the most of our time in such a beautiful country. A pleasant surprise for us, was his skill at taking professional photos and videos of us at scenic sites. He captured many memorable moments we will treasure for a lifetime! Our first tour was a private excursion from Yokohama to the Mount Fuji area. We were picked up directly at our hotel and taken to several beautiful locations throughout the day. One of the best aspects of the tour was the freedom to have a completely flexible schedule. Unlike structured bus tours, we were never rushed or tied to someone else’s timeline. The itinerary could be adjusted as we went, allowing us to spend more time at places we especially enjoyed. We also used Yokohama Private Tours for a full-day private tour of the Tokyo area. Once again, Lucas did not disappoint us and did an excellent job working with us to create a unique itinerary focused on the sites we specifically wanted to see. If we wanted to stay longer somewhere, it was never a problem. In addition to the tours, we used their service for three private transfers: - A transfer to Ashikaga Flower Park, which was absolutely amazing - A transfer from the Yokohama cruise port to our Tokyo hotel - A transfer from Tokyo to the airport We were traveling with several large pieces of luggage, and standard Japanese taxis and Ubers simply could not accommodate us comfortably. Having a spacious vehicle waiting for us provided tremendous peace of mind and convenience. Every driver was professional, and all of the vehicles were extremely comfortable. Lucas also provided the names and contact information for each driver the day before our scheduled pickups, which added another level of reassurance and professionalism. Bottom line: we would absolutely use this company again and highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Japan. We wish there were more private touring companies like YPT and especially a “Lucas” in every country that we plan to visit in the future! Travel would be as carefree and close to perfect as you can get!
We had a fantastic day visiting one of the most iconic spots in Japan. Lucas was a super guide and made sure we saw Mt Fuji from every angle as well as visit other spots such as the impressive temple, local sake brewery and a great lunch venue. We had a blast. Would recommend!!
Thank you Lucas for an amazing day! You helped make the most out of seeing the sights when we couldn't see Mt Fuji due to heavy cloud cover (except for that joyous 3 seconds when there was a gap in the clouds!). We appreciated you contacted us soon after we made our booking and customised an itinerary that suited our interests. It was great you picked us up early from our hotel in Yokohama so we could get ahead of the typical tourist crowd and visit popular attractions without mixing with the masses. Whilst the weather prevented postcard pictures of Mt Fuji we were still able to have an enjoyable, fun-filled day filled with culture, history, scenic landscapes and memorable moments. Thank you for your consideration, thoughtful helpfulness, local knowledge and guidance. With your excellent service and professionalism (not to mention the delicious snacks), touring with you today was a highlight of our Japan travels.
Bottom line up front : BOOK THIS TOUR! I can’t say enough good things about Lucas, and the tour we did with him at Lake Kawaguchi. First thing, he messaged early in the morning to adjust the schedule. Weather was iffy at best and he recommended a change to maximize our chances of actually seeing Fuji. Turns out this was exactly what we needed to do! Lucas is engaging, articulate, intelligent and incredibly easy to converse with. He has great depth of knowledge about each location you visit, and has several options of what to do to adapt to your interests and energy levels. He also was able to recommend a local food experience for lunch that was authentic and of the beaten path which we loved. Because of his thoughtfulness and appropriately managing the schedule, we were able to stay later in the day and experience the amazing Mt. Fuji just as the clouds and rain finally dispersed at sunset. A huge thank you to Lucas for making our trip so special and helping us figure out other plans during the remainder of our travel.
Lucas was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable, engaging and considerate of our needs at all times. He paced the day perfectly. The day could not have been better.
Lucas provided a fun opportunity for us to see mt Fuji during a short stop in Japan. The tour was well organized and efficient. Lucas was very knowledgeable about the sites, and we enjoyed the conversation we had with him. I would definitely recommend this private tour.
Lucas was amazing as a tour guide! He adapted the program to our liking, knew all the great photo spots and came fully prepared with snacks and drinks for us. Highly highly recommend this tour!
My family and I had an incredible experience on our tour to Mt. Fuji. Lucas our tour guide was absolutely amazing. he was very accommodating to my family and flexible with the itinerary, which made the day feel personalized and stress-free. He spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable about Japan and the Mt. Fuji area, sharing insights that made the experience even more meaningful. Thanks to Lucas and this tour, we will always remember our day at Mt. Fuji fondly, it was the highlight of our trip. I would highly recommend booking this tour!
We had a great time exploring around Mount Fuji with Lucas as our guide! Lucas was personable and professional. He was happy to adjust the itinerary to fit our wants throughout the experience. We would easily recommend this experience to anyone wanting to see great sights with a well-informed guide!
Lucas was on time, professional, very friendly and very knowledgeable. He took us to a couple lovely shrines, a garden and a very nice lunch. He is also a very good driver! Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate for us and we did not see Mount Fuji, but the tour was wonderful, even without that part of the experience. I highly recommend this tour!
We had an outstanding experience on our Mt. Fuji tour, thanks to our guide, Lucas. He was organized and punctual, which made the entire day smooth and stress-free. His friendly yet professional demeanor immediately put us at ease, and it was clear he genuinely cared about making our experience memorable. What truly set him apart was his deep, firsthand knowledge of Japanese customs and culture. He didn’t just guide us through the sights—he enriched the journey with meaningful insights and stories that gave us a much deeper appreciation of everything we were seeing. We especially enjoyed the lunch spot he selected, where we had the unique experience of removing our shoes and wearing slippers—an authentic and memorable glimpse into Japanese traditions. The food was delicious and added even more to the experience. We booked four tours through Viator during our trip, and without a doubt, Lucas was our favorite guide. We learned the most from him, and that says a lot—especially since impressing my 23-year-old son isn’t always easy! He had a fantastic time as well. I truly can’t say enough good things about Lucas. This experience was one of the highlights of our visit to Tokyo, and we would absolutely book with him again on our next trip.
This was an excellent tour. Lucas spoke excellent English. Lucas was very knowledgeable and continued to monitor the live cameras at Mt Fuji to adjust our trip so that we could get the best view possible. We went to a number of lakes that had impressive views. I really liked the Cherry Blossom soft serve ice cream at one of the lakes. I personally enjoyed the discussions we had about a very diverse number of subjects as we travelled around.
Awesome experience with Lucas. Friendly, professional, and knowledgeable guide. We were able to customize our agenda to accommodate our time constraints. I highly recommend booking a trip with Lucas Fuji and beyond.
Lucas is an amazing tour guide for Mount Fuji. He picked us up punctually and made the ride easy and pleasant from Tokyo to Mount Fuji. He took the time to develop an itinerary based on both our requests plus his own experience with Mount Fuji. He knew the best times to go to different areas and we were able to take some amazing photos and also see some lesser visited spots which were amazing to view. He was also able to cater to some on the fly changes we asked for during the tour and his friendliness and easy going nature worked perfect for an amazing day trip. I recommend him to anyone looking for a day trip to Mount Fuji!
Lucas is great guide and patient person, he was always interacting and making sure everything is good. Fully conversational in English and showed every place going over the details of it.
Oscar was a fantastic guide with great knowledge of local spots and excellent English, Portuguese and Japanese speaking skills. Would highly recommend
I wanted to be careful with any tour because I was accompanying my parents who are in the 80s. And I knew right away that we would be in good hands when Lucas started communicating shorty after making the booking. Based on the details about my parents, he immediately customized the itinerary and timing knowing that they’ll be slower and less able to walk long distances. He arrived on-time and was extremely pleasant from the start until the very end. He was extremely knowledgeable about the places we visited, all of which had unique and unforgettable views of Mt Fuji. My mom is the one who has more mobility challenges and he stayed behind and kept her company so that my dad and I could explore further. My mom really enjoyed learning about Lucas’ life and he shared so much about the Japanese culture that we might have been too shy to ask. I highly recommend Lucas and his customizable tour for anyone wanting to get the best sights of Mt Fuji and is looking for someone who has a kind and naturally warm personality. Obrigado, thank you, and kinnichiwa for the lifelong memories, Lucas.
Lucas could not have been more helpful. He was extremely prompt at replying to our messages and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour. He accommodated all our needs. We had a brilliant day. Would highly recommend Lucas and this tour.
I had an amazing tour with Lucus! He drove me to Fuji-san and made the entire trip smooth and enjoyable. The itinerary was well-designed, allowing me to see many beautiful spots without feeling rushed. Lucus is also very knowledgeable—he explained the history and local culture in a way that was easy to understand and truly added depth to the experience. I absolutely enjoyed this tour and will definitely book with Lucus again. Highly recommended! 🌟
We were picked up at our Yokohama hotel by Lucas who came prepared with snacks and drinks for our day. Thankful for his English speaking skills as no-one in our party spoke Japanese, we enjoyed the ride and conversation with him as he shared his knowledge about the area and history. We made several stops at points of interest and we were able to take photos and shop for souvenirs. Lucas had an excellent recommendation for lunch and handled procuring a table for us as well as making sure we were good with the menu. We explored the area around Mt Fuji and the 5 Lakes. Lucas allowed us to set our pace and decide what kind of day we wanted to have. I highly recommend this tour, we were 100% satisfied.
