Lake Kawaguchi is known as the shining pearl of the five lakes of Fuji, its intricate shoreline offers numerous vantage points to admire the majestic Mt. Fuji. Ten thousand years ago, a spectacular eruption of Mount Fuji created this stunning picture of lake and mountain. In 2013, Lake Kawaguchi was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Fujisan Cultural Site. Stroll along its shores with Mt. Fuji in the background, a serene and awe-inspiring atmosphere, and enjoy the beautiful reflection of Mt. Fuji in the clear water.
Oishi Park, nature's palette, is famous for its vibrant seasonal flower displays. On the west side of the park, the "350-meter-long Flowers Road" features a colorful array of blooms throughout the year. From cherry blossoms in spring to lavender in summer, and from vibrant autumn leaves to the soft snow and reeds of winter, the seasons change, and the scenery is breathtaking. You can capture beautiful photos with Lake Kawaguchi, seasonal flowers, and the majestic Mt. Fuji in the background.
On the second floor of the Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center, you will find a unique perspective where you can easily capture the magnificent picture of the red torii blending with Mount Fuji.

Oshino Hakkai is a World Heritage Site known for its eight clear springs, which are formed by the snowmelt from Mt. Fuji. It is recognized as one of the "100 Famous Waters of Japan." To reach the pagoda, visitors must climb nearly 400 steps, but the panoramic view from the top is considered one of the best in Japan.
Built in 705 and has a history of more than 1,300 years. It is a holy place to pray for well-being and family happiness. In 807, Mount Fuji erupted on a large scale, and society fell into panic. The shrine held a grand Mount Fuji Fire Control Ceremony, praying for peace and prosperity for the nation and for Mount Fuji to return to a state of tranquility.
At Shimoyoshida Honcho Street, the Hikawa Clock Shop, escape the urban hustle and bustle to reach the "Stairway to Mt. Fuji," a serene path leading to the iconic mountain.
Lake Yamanaka, also known as "Swan Lake," is the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes located near Mount Fuji in Japan. It is the closest lake to Mount Fuji among the Fuji Five Lakes, offering a spectacular view of the mountain reflected in the lake. You can enjoy a stroll along the lakeside, where you can encounter swans gliding and resting at the water's edge, creating a tranquil experience amidst the stunning scenery. Fantastic selection of destinations and flexibility to break out of the regular plans to roam the stops. The guide was a 5/5, friendly, empathetic and very professional. I highly recommend the tour if you want to have a stress free visit of the Fuji.
Maiku picked me up from the hotel right on time & we spent an enjoyable day together. We did Hakone Region, including Owakudani Valley Ropeway and Lake Ashi Cruise & Calligraphy lesson at Fukuju-in. We talked endlessly about life, love & Japan. A most wonderful day spent with a gentlemen who went out of his way to ensure the day went smoothly. I would recommend Maiku to anyone. Well done & thanks.
We were given lots of information about where to meet for the tour and throughout the day. Sandy was great and was always willing to help with photos which was a big bonus for a solo traveller! We unfortunately didn’t get to make it to all the stops because of traffic on the way, but we were lucky and Mount Fuji treated us very well whilst we were there! Would recommend this tour if you only have time for a day trip - the whole day was very much worth the value! Thank you Sandy for the fab day and the lovely unexpected postcard gift, and thank you to our bus driver!

A great tour from meeting to ending, helped by the tremendous weather at Fuji and Sandy’s amazing tour guiding skills! PS Our driver was brilliant too!!
Very friendly and knowledgeable guide, Sandy. Anticipated very well on the significant traffic delay leaving Tokyo. Despite of this we had a wonderful tour today, with clear views of the mountain all day. Tour and guide strongly recommended.
We had a great experience with Sandy as our guide. He showed us some beautiful spots. We were also driven around in a very comfortable bus. A big shout-out to the friendly and professional bus driver as well. Highly recommended!
I had a great time, and our tour guide Yurina was wonderful. She is friendly, upbeat and has good knowledge of the area. It was organized and efficient. When we came to the restaurant for lunch , the meal was ready for us on the table, no waiting. All stops were on time, and we got back to Tokyo on the timely basis. I would recommend the Mt. Fuji trip to anyone with limited time but want to get an overall experience of the Mt Fuji mountain.
It was fun….our tour guide was so professional and she really knows what she’s doing……………………………………..
This was my first solo trip and first time in Japan. I woke up at 3am to make sure I made it to the meet up spot. I did get lost alot but Millie was super helpful especially with her flag. She's very friendly, welcoming, and informative. I had a great experience and we got to see Mt. Fuji last minute.
Our guide Yulina was so nice and gave us a great explanation of how the day would go. Although it was raining in the morning, by the time we got to the last stop we actually got to see Fujisan. It was a fun a beautiful experience.

Our guide Jun was awesome! He kept our spirits up, kept us entertained and apologized profusely throughout the day for the weather because it rained from start to finish. Clearly not in his control! The bus was excellent and the stops were great… probably even better when the sun is out. Maybe next time, Fuji San!
