Stop At: Owaku-dani Valley Enter Hakone’s active volcanic zone, where sulphurous steam rises from the earth and the famous kuro-tamago (black eggs, slow-cooked in natural hot springs) are sold at the crater’s edge. Clear-day views of Mt. Fuji from the observation area are exceptional.
Stop At: Lake Ashinoko Stroll the peaceful lakeshore and take in views across the water to Mt. Fuji. An optional sightseeing cruise aboard the famous pirate ship is available at your discretion (additional cost).

Tickets are not included Hakone Sightseeing Cruise is a sightseeing boat that crosses scenic Lake Ashi. The ship is designed like a pirate ship and offers beautiful views of the lake, surrounding mountains, and Mount Fuji on clear days.
Stop At: Hakone Shrine Hakone Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine founded in the 8th century. It is famous for its scenic red torii gate standing in the waters of Lake Ashi, making it one of Hakone’s most iconic photo spots.

We had a pleasant day trip to Hakone with Mr. Oishi as our guide. He was polite and knowledgeable, and he made sure we stayed on schedule throughout the day. The views of Mt. Fuji were beautiful, and we enjoyed the boat ride on Lake Ashi, the cable car experience, and a relaxing visit to the hot springs. It was a well-organized trip and a convenient way to explore the highlights of Hakone in a single day.
Unforgettable time in Hakone with Mr. Delicious Nicole_S
We had a wonderful and unforgettable day in Hakone!! Even with a rainy cold day that canceled both the cable cars and cruises, Mr. Delicious (our amazing tour guide) took us to some authentic Japanese tea houses and amazing sushi. Fortunately, we did get to go to the shrine, which was beautiful and the hot springs, which was absolutely glorious after our Tokyo marathon on Sunday. I would highly recommend this tour!
