Itinerary
Mt. Fuji, located in central Honshu, is Japan’s highest peak at 3,776 meters. Recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, it stands as a national symbol of Japan, inspiring pilgrims, poets, and travelers for centuries. Best Travel Seasons Summer (July–Sep): Ideal for trekking with clear summit views. Spring (Mar–May): Cherry blossoms frame Mt. Fuji beautifully. Autumn (Oct–Nov): Colorful foliage transforms the landscape. Winter (Dec–Feb): Snow-covered peak—perfect for photography. 8:00 AM – Departure from Tokyo Meet your guide at a designated point in Tokyo. Board a comfortable coach and enjoy countryside views en route to Mt. Fuji. 10:30 AM – Arakura Sengen Shrine & Shinkurayama Sengen Park Begin your journey on the “Path of Faith” at this world-renowned photography spot. Climb 398 steps for a stunning view of Mt. Fuji alongside a five-story pagoda and the Fujiyoshida townscape. Each season offers a different scenic backdrop—from cherry blossoms to snowy serenity.
11:40 AM – Hikawa Clock Shop & Honcho Street Stroll through Fuji’s “Sky Ladder Town.” This nostalgic street offers quiet charm and views that appear to lead directly to Mt. Fuji, symbolizing the spiritual closeness yet eternal distance from the divine. Traditional shopfronts evoke Japan’s Showa-era resilience and warmth.
12:30 PM – Oshino Hakkai Explore this scenic village known for its eight crystal-clear springs, fed by Mt. Fuji’s melted snow filtered over decades. Recognized as a Natural Monument and part of the Mt. Fuji UNESCO World Heritage Site, the village preserves traditional rural beauty and sacred ambiance.
2:30 PM – Kawaguchiko Oishi Park Located on Lake Kawaguchi’s northern shore, Oishi Park offers one of the most iconic views of Mt. Fuji framed by seasonal flowers. During the cherry blossom season, the area transforms into a festival of pink petals and reflective lake scenes. The “Mt. Fuji Assembly Memorial Monument,” built from rocks sourced across Japan, adds to the park’s symbolic power. Seasonal limited: Kawaguchiko Maple Corridor The stunning view of snow-capped Mt. Fuji set against a backdrop of fiery red maple leaves is an unmissable sight. This once-a-year spectacular is waiting for your visit and participation. Kawaguchiko Cherry Blossom Festival The Fuji Kawaguchiko Cherry Blossom Festival will be held on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, This is a famous photo spot where you can capture Mt. Fuji, the lake, and blooming cherry blossoms all in one frame.
3:40 PM – Lawson Convenience Store (Lake Kawaguchi) Take a short rest stop at a uniquely located Lawson, where the modern world meets nature. Enjoy Mt. Fuji views from the parking area and experience the subtle harmony between tradition and contemporary life. 4:00 PM – Departure for Tokyo Return by coach, reflecting on the day’s spiritual and scenic discoveries. 6:00 PM – Arrival in Tokyo Arrive back at the departure point, concluding your meaningful journey.

Reviews
The tour is very good and the guide Eric did an amazing job. A lot of informantion, good tips through all the points of the teip + fastest sprint to get tickets for cable car for our group among all other guides.
The guide, Shelly, was very rude throughout the tour. She constantly made a big issue whenever someone was even five minutes late. At every location, she gave us only 15–20 minutes, which was clearly not enough time to properly explore or enjoy the places. What was even more disappointing was that during lunch, she herself delayed the tour by almost 30 minutes because she was encouraging everyone to shop at a particular store, where it seemed she might have been receiving some commission. So the tour was delayed because of her actions. However, later, if any guest was late by even five or ten minutes at another location, she started shouting at them very aggressively. This is not professional behavior and not the right way to treat customers. At the very beginning of the tour, she also kept saying that because it was the weekend there would be heavy traffic, so we would need to return early. That is not a valid excuse. Everyone knows weekends usually involve more traffic, and the tour should be planned accordingly in advance. A weekend should not mean cutting short the experience for customers. If necessary, you can charge a higher price on weekends, but customers should still receive the same amount of time and experience as on weekdays. Pathetic service
Pearl was excellent! Thanks for an amazing day. Even though it was raining everywhere we went was great.
Erina was a great tour guide. Wished we had more time in some places, but all in all an amazing tour.
Jalen made this tour. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make sure everyone was taken care of. The Mount Fuji viewpoints were stunning, the ride was comfortable, and his food and souvenir recommendations were spot on. The small souvenir he gave us at the end was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, an amazing experience, highly recommend, especially if you get Jalen as your guide.
April 7th, 2026. I took the Hakone tour with Owakudani. It was great. James the guide was incredibly kind. Unfortunately it was high season and lines made everything longer.
And absolutely amazing trip, everything was taken care of, and the host "Andrew" 😀 was informative and energetic. I highly recommend using gogoday travel .
It was a great experience , especially the views of lake Kuwaguchi. Linda was my guide and she was the best . For the last stop, I wish we had more time, we were given 100 min. Since we had to explore 2 sites of the town maybe 2:30 hrs would’ve been plenty. Overall , I had a great time .
You should go when the weather seems clear so that you can see Mount Fuji. In my case, I took wonderful photos with my family. With our super guide "K," excellent support!!!
