K was an excellent gide. Made the trip very enjoyable despite the weather. Would certainly recommend.

Pearl is an amazing tour guide! She showed us around different locations and explained fun facts and the history behind it. Can’t wait to come back!
The tour was exactly as described. Great guide. We had a fantastic day & took some cool photos. We would recommend.
This is an experienced tour group (Gogoday), who had all of the bases covered to send several full busses of people to Fuji on this Monday. - Organzied guides (ours spoke 3 languages fluently) and New busses This is also a Shopping Tour, with each destination packed with plenty of time to purchase a wide variety of trinkets (if this is your thing). - Some shopping (including a extra fee lunch) is elaborately described by guides. This was a young crowd with more than 70% under the age of 30, having mostly no tour bus experience. - Kids were often whipped into a frenzy on the bus by our guide, often by using cheers, or songs, with the focus on people being awake, up tempo, and psyched for each stop. I am sure this appealed to the younger crowd. Our guide was much like an Anime character, who tried hard to please and appeal to the junior aged tourists. For us (experienced in touring) this was a unique experience which is quite unlike the Japanese culture (reserved, and moderated). I am sure that this added value to a large segment of our tour group, however. All in all, this is a long day which is very organized with many shopping destinations which are also frequented by thousands of other tourists on any given day. It was certainly a good value. The Gogoday tour company has vast experience and very much of this trip went off without a hitch. Recommend.
Anna was an amazing guide and took us to wonderful places. Anna also gave us extra time to account for the traffic we encountered because it was the weekend. She accompanied me through my first Onsen experience. She was upfront about costs for entries and lunch. She also waited in the morning due to transportation issues (still figuring out the system here). There was a perfect mix of sightseeing, history, shopping, food and relaxation. I highly recommend Anna and the one day Mount Fuji Tour!
The trip would not have been great had it not been for our tour guide Allan. It was rainy and cloudy with no hopes of seeing Mount Fuji, but our guide kept us motivated. He communicated well and took care of the entire bus filled with passengers like we were his family. He checked in on us along the way, and gave great advice and recommendations. His energy and enthusiasm is top notch. It shows that he enjoys doing his job. We ended up seeing the mountain at the last minute and it was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. Please give Allan a raise!! Fuji-sun!!!
My bestfriend, her sister and I had the pleasure of going in this cruise while vacationing in Japan on August 15th 2026. We had an amazing time mostly thanks to our fantastic guide Allan who did such a great job with everything he was so energetic, positive, informative, helpful and just made what was an already great experience even more memorable, he definitely deserve a raise 😀 to top it off we got to see mount Fuji which was just the cherry on top of an already amazing funfilled day.
Amazing day. Erik Elhamalawy was funny informative and kept to the schedule. He made the tour a great day. Andrew was also very good and lively. Will definitely look for Erik next time I book a tour in Tokyo.
Loved the information from my guide Peter. His food and event reconnections (such as the ice cream shop and shrine exploration) made the experience one to remember, despite the cloudy weather.
Amazing! Erina was very engaging, sweet, and informative. I recommend doing this tour but it is not handicap friendly so please keep that in mind.
We booked this Mt. Fuji tour through Viator, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. One positive was that the meeting point information was clear and easy to find, which made the start of the tour stress-free. However, the tour guide spoke approximately 95% of the time in Chinese. Since we do not understand Chinese, we felt excluded for most of the tour and learned very little about the places we visited. We expected a tour that would provide information and insights in a language we could understand, but that was not our experience. Another issue was the information provided about payment methods in the village we visited. The guide told the group that vendors only accepted cash and did not take credit cards. This was not true. Many vendors accepted cards. Because of this misinformation, we exchanged money at extremely poor exchange rates—worse than what we saw at the airport—which ended up costing us unnecessarily. Overall, we would not recommend this tour company. If you’re looking for a Mt. Fuji tour where you can fully understand the guide and receive accurate information, I would suggest booking with a different operator.
1. The meeting place was chaotic, 2. The tour guide is incompetent, 3. The order of tghe tours was changed without informing the customers, 4. The lunch site was chaotic and dirty, 5. I was deserted at the Arakurayama Segen Park and the bus lefy without me, and 6. I lost my belongings that left in the bus.
This was a full day tour with suggested 11 hour tour and estimated return arrival time in Tokyo at 7 PM. On the drive home, the bus driver chosen by Hotel Takitei, the tour operator, stopped several times claiming he was unfit or unsafe to continue to drive back to Tokyo. We finally pulled into a rest stop and waited over one hour for a new bus driver and bus to drive to our location and take us back to Tokyo. We arrived about 2.5 hours late into Tokyo, and I requested a partial and reasonable refund for this poor choice of bus driver by the tour operator, and no refund was approved. Beware of this trip as you could waste many hours waiting for a safe bus driver. Otherwise, Jack did give us a wonderful tour with some great cultural and scenic areas around Mount Fuji.
The experience was as described. I got great photos and we lucked out with a clear view of Mount Fuji. The guide Alex was great at his job and kept us on time. I had a great time
Very bad experience , what was mentioned in thevitenary was not followed , we ended up doing some random parks which are not mentioned in the list , and when we asked the guide about the places missed she said it’s not included in this trip , though she was sweet but she wasn’t a proper guide with little to minimal command over English The highlight of any kawaguchiko tour is the lake kawaguchi and the oishi park , and that was missed Over all very disappointing
Gogoday Travel Service guide person was good however, the driver was not proficient. He stopped three times claiming that he was tired. Finally, another driver had to come an pick up 41 passengers at 8:40pm. We were 2.5hours late to get back to Tokyo. They refused to give us any refund back. I would not recommend this company.
It's great to see Mt. Fuji in all its majestic splendor. The snow capped apex never fails to amaze everyone and we were very fortunate to see it, thanks to seemtfuji app. Too bad the tour is only 10 hours. Might do it again in the next visit.
We missed our English speaking bus. We were late but another tour operator of allowed us to come on the two empty seats on her bus and we had a fabulous time.. her name is Pearl and it was a Chinese language tour.. but we had a blast. Everyone was so kind and she was fabulous for allowing us to go on the tour with her and because she also spoke English we didn’t feel like we missed anything at all.. I was so grateful to be able to enjoy the tour after all even though we missed our bus! She was very friendly and professional and make sure we knew what to see at the stops and what time to return to the bus. What could have been a very disappointing date to us turned into a fabulous adventure ..her name was Pearl, and we’re so grateful that she helped us out! We saw some beautiful sites and were very lucky that there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and we could see Mount Fuji perfectly. Of course, I wished we could spend a little more time at each site… especially our first stop at the pagoda. I was happy to see some cherry blossoms, even though we are at the end of the season.. All in all it was a fabulous day.
Lots packed into itinerary so not a lot of time at each spot. Traffic was bad due to cherry blossom season. Worth it for the views! Yoyo did well keeping everyone together & making the most of the day.
Our guide Olivia was so friendly and speaks English wonderfully. The hike up the 398 stairs are worth it. The view from the observation deck was breathtaking
Although we were not instructed on how to find our guide, and there was a crowd of tour groups at the Tokyo station, we found her. The coach bus is comfortable. It was a miracle that Mt. Fuji was clearly visible in the day of our tour. Yoyo is knowledgeable, kind and made sure no one is left behind. Highly recommendable.
It was an amazing trip, we had the most beautiful weather, only thing that I would like to have a bit more time when climbing the stairs as it gets really busy and waiting time to go to the top is extremely long
The guide Asa from gogoday was not customer friendly. She never bother to look out and take along the elderly people along with her . She walks so fast to the destination even without even bothering to see if the older people are catching up or not , we lost our way a couple of times. I am 69 and my wife 68 years old . When she was told this , her reaction was very arrogant and she said that she cant wait for anyone. Most of the destination she never came along with us. She just showed us the way and went back to the bus and sat there . When other come late she was not happy but when the bus is delayed because of her she is not apologetic at all. To begin with the time of departure was 0830 am , She herself came around 0840 saying she was caught in traffic. The previous day we had a tour with Japan Panoramic Tours( Get Your Guide) .We had a very pleasant tour , the guide was excellent . Never will I go through Viator in future. A very bad experience in all
We were not blessed with the best weather but our tour guide, Laila, did everything she could to make the experience enjoyable and informative. Including letting us know where toilets were, arranging stops for us to get umbrellas and even giving us tips about restaurants and onsens in Shinjuku when the tour finished. Highly recommend asking for Laila when you book.
our tour guide Laila was incredible, she was so informative, so clear with instructions, so very patient and had the most bubbly and out going personality that made the trip so much better than we had anticipated, could not have asked for a better tour/ tour guide, highly highly recommend asking for Laila!!
Great experience. Linda was knowledgeable and welcoming. She took care of our large group with expert care, managing multiple groups from different countries. Will recommend to all my friends and family
Fun experience seeing various area with views of Mount Fuji. Luckily the clouds moved out of the way early in the trip and we were able to get plenty of good pictures.
Lovey guide Anna very knowledgeable. Shame it was not longer. Luckily lovely weather on the day and able to get wonderful photos of mount fuji.
Anna was a great tour guide and the price of the tour was great for what we got! Anna also took great photos! Would recommend for anyone looking to get some instagram photos without any crazy hikes or treks. Bring cash for snacks!
Taking this tour (via Klook) was an amazing and memorable experience. The tour covers the commute to/from the meeeting point and many places/attractions. Good opportunity to also purchase souvenirs. Shoutout to Sawaki for making this tour amazing and for his smile/tone.
Amazing views of Mount Fuji, lots to do, see and eat. Shout out to David our awesome guide, thank you so much for the memories! Recommend booking 1000%!!
Very nice weather, got to take beautiful fotos! Peter was very cheerful and informative. It has been a very delightful trip!
Our tour guide peter was very helpful and friendly. Was eager to give us insights in the sight seeing, Easy to understand and overall and enjoyable tour!
Peter, good job and well done. Nice trip to Fugi. Thanks to the driver too. We enjoyed ghe trio very much. Will keep in touch with you for the next trip.
We enjoy this trip a lot! Thank you to Peter to lead us with his excellent experience in this trip - Mount Fuji trip. We will recommend to our friends.
Peter, Our Tour guide, is such an amazing person. He is really friendly and really helpful. Keep doing the good work 👍🏻
Peter, the tour guide is so nice and helpful. The best day ever in japan. Hopefully can come back with the same tour to go to different places
Peter Yang is an amazing tour guide, friendly, knowledgeable and funny. An exciting day with my husband, 3 year old and a group of friends. Mt Fuji was a beautiful sight, even though there was 450 stairs to get to the best spot. Taking Peter’s advice we saved buying an icecream until the 2nd stop from a specific store, we had the Japanese maple and orange ice creams. Devine!
The tour guide was very friendly and helpful even though the schedule was quite rushed. Everything was decent except the meeting up at pick up point experience. There were too many tour guides holding the yellow gogoday flags and it was so anxiety inducing because it was quite difficult to find the correct tour guide. The tour guide also walked too fast at times leaving a lot of tourists behind.
Had amazing experience with proper detailed explanation of culture. Our guide was Jack, he provided overall good experience of tour
Our day trip to Mt. Fuji is absolutely amazing as the weather is stunning and we vividly witness the natural beauty of Mt. Fuji. Also this trip has been an enjoyable tour guided by EVITA, from klook. She speaks english and gives us proper instruction and educational background.
We had a wonderful day 30/10/25 as Mt Fuji decided to show its beauty to us in the morning! Our tour guide Evita was also amazing and full of energy. Thank you for making our trip memorable and smooth sailing. The day was packed but you made it enjoyable by sharing a lot about your beautiful country's history and some tips for us travellers. The time given were enough to enjoy the views and activities included in the tour. My friends and I will be back in the Fujiyoshida area next year during the maple 🍁 season. Arigatogozaimasu Gogoday!
We had a wonderful time with gogoday travel. The tour was great and Evita (tour guide) was very helpful and knowledgeable about the places we visited. She recommends must try food and spots to take pictures.
Tour was with 2 groups (English and Chinese group) - roughly 30 in total. Great trip to see all the highlights! Weather in May was a bit hit or miss
Well organised, friendly guide. Everything went on well and the sight-reading interesting. Value for money
I would not recommend this tour. The tour guide was rude to my friend and I the whole tour. I’m not sure if it’s because we are both from Hong Kong (the guide is from China but speaks Cantonese, the rest of the group was mostly westerners) There were 3 lunch sets we needed to choose from (fried chicken, unagi, and wagyu) when the guide asked me which one I wanted, I said “Chicken” and he was like “Chicken? what’s that? Ah, karaage” with a really rude tone of voice. By the way that lunch set was terrible. The chicken was dry and the udon was worse than the instant udon you find at conbini stores. Later when we were coming back from one of the attractions, my friend ended up being a bit late while I went back on the bus earlier, and the guide said to me “Where’s your friend? Does she not wanna go back home? Call her” I understand being late is our fault but first of all, I don’t why he acted so rude towards me (he was basically yelling at me at this point) I was on the bus on time and second of all, there were others who arrived even later than my friend (5min after the original meeting time) and he didn’t say anything to them. Towards the end when we were heading back to Tokyo, the guide said he will end out omamori to those who write positive reviews about this tour, which brings up the question: Can you really trust the positive reviews about this tour?
Our group (4 people) tour to Mount Fuji in Japan was truly an amazing experience. The views were breathtaking and the journey was made even more enjoyable thanks to our guide, Mr. Yong, and his driver. Both were extremely helpful, professional, and kind throughout the entire trip. Mr. Yong’s knowledge and friendly approach made the tour memorable, and the driver’s safe and courteous driving added great comfort to our journey. We are very grateful to them for making the day so special. However, we also had an encounter with Ms. Seki, and unfortunately, her attitude was disappointing. She came across as rude and her behavior was quite absurd, which left a negative impression. It was a sharp contrast to the warmth and professionalism shown by Mr. Yong. That being said, we will surely book again in the future—but only with Mr. Yong, as he made the trip unforgettable for us. Highly recommended if you want a pleasant and enriching Mount Fuji tour experience.
Our tour around the area of Mt. Fuji was amazing! Our tour guide, Evita, was very nice and knowledgeable about different facts about Mt Fuji and the surrounding area, and always joyful and positive and wanted us to have the best experience we could have for this tour. I would highly recommend doing this tour and if you get Evita, you’re in luck! Would definitely do this tour again with family and friends who haven’t been to the area yet
We booked this tour through GetYourGuide . The day we went was a cloudy day so we did not see Mt Fuji. It’s okay with us. The guide tour who is young lady who did not do her job as a guide tour. After the bus start rolling in the morning to the first stop, she just said few words then she went to her seat and slept . Her head just falling to the side of her shoulder, and woke up when there was a bump then went back to sleep again. She must have a rough night. Anyway, by the end of the trip she goes to each passenger and asked for a good review, she waited for you to write your review and make sure you give her 5 stars. So please do not trust these reviews on their website (gogoday travel). It may be called fraud with misleading information.
Great tour, Marafa was informative and very kind making sure we was all happy and on time. Even though the mountain was mostly hidden in cloud he made it a fun day.
