We made the trip on a cloudy, at first, Sunday. Attary our guide made the trip memorable. He planed the itinerary perfect for us, giving us very nice memories of Mt. Fuji. We would do it again anytime.

A great tour in a private car, although we had a cloudy day our great driver took us to numerous interesting places like the Ice cave and Samurai village. If i were to do it again I would wait until I arrived in Tokyo to check out the weather forecast as much of the time you cannot see Mt Fuji , despite that we had a great time.

We had a fantastic tour of Mt. Fuji and Hakone today! It was just the three of us—my wife, my daughter, and me—and our driver and guide, Mac, made it a truly memorable family experience. Mac was incredibly knowledgeable and went out of his way to explain the sights and share interesting details about each place we visited. He gave us plenty of time to explore at our own pace, so we never felt rushed, and his recommendations took us to some wonderful places. He was also a very safe and careful driver, which made the entire journey comfortable and relaxing. Thank you, Mac, for such a wonderful day! We would highly recommend him to anyone planning a tour in or around Tokyo. If you have the chance, definitely request Mac!

Attary was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, supportive and genuinely committed to making our day enjoyable. As the weather was rainy, he used his knowledge of the local attractions to recommend the best places to visit and suggested changes to our itinerary to make the most of the conditions. His advice was thoughtful and really helped us have a wonderful experience. The only disappointment was that, due to the weather, we didn’t get to experience the Hakone Bridge, which we had been looking forward to. However, we really appreciated Attary’s flexibility, knowledge and efforts to make the most of the day despite the weather.

Raja was on time and guided throughout the trip We set out on the trip at 7:00 AM and really enjoyed ourselves. We visited the outdoor areas and were delighted by the experience; we saw the lake and the waterfall, which both we and our friends loved. Our guide was excellent.highly recomanded.

Attary was AMAZING! Hands down one of the best tours we ever did, my kids even enjoyed it.He took us to so many amazing sites.He was very knowledgeable and gave really good suggestions. We got some really good pictures as well. I will definitely highly recommend this company and him to everyone in know.

Regret having taken this tour. The guide was difficult to understand but was also generally not engaging at all. That was after asking us to move the tour 2 hours early because of "traffic" (which we declined and was minimal). Every stop is a tourist trap and each cost additional but the guide doesnt even accompany you. Received very minimal info and didnt end up even remotely close to mt fuji. If you want to actually learn about and visit it - id strongly suggest avoiding this tour.

We really enjoyed our day trip to Mount Fuji. Our guide and driver Attary was very flexible and attentive to our questions and asks. The itinerary was well built and allowed the right amount of time to enjoy all the locations without being rushed neither bored - was worth to take a day out of Tokyo!

We booked a 4-day private tour and our driver Sam is great. He really knows the area and gave us suggestions to customize our 4-day tour taking into consideration of the weather forecast to maximize our chances to see Mt Fuji at its most spectacular. He took us to the best spots to view Mt Fuji on the most clear days and saved the less weather sensitive activities for rainy days. He drives safely and always gives us clear instructions for how to meet him after we explore the site. Overall we are very satisfied with our tour.

We recently took this private Day trip with Viator. With the trip confirmed we were assigned a “tour” guide, Mr. Attary. The night before the trip I was messaged by the guide who asked/stated we should start the tour/trip at 5:30-6:00 am. The trip was booked through Viator for 8 am. That was THEIR option for booking the trip. If that time does not work it should not be an option. We compromised with the guide for 7 am. Right from the beginning the guide/driver was driving very erratic, swerving in and out of traffic, Slamming the brakes, texting and driving, talking in the phone. Halfway through the drive there the driver said there was a rest area. We said no thank you we could skip it so we had more time. He asked if we could stop so he could get himself a coffee. Lo and behold we stopped for 10 minutes he never got a coffee because the line was too long. The first stop of the “itinerary” was Chureito Pagoda. The driver claimed he couldn’t drop us off near the entrance he had to drop us off down the road. We walked up the road went up the park. After being there for 45 minutes the driver text us “time to go next” we went down got back in the car. The next stop was supposed to be lyashi no sato. He took us somewhere different. Not thinking anything of it we just went along with it. At this stop it was a little town we walked around. Got back in the car after 40 minutes. He then took us to near the 3rd stop lake kawaguchiko. As we drove by he said it’s super busy right now would you like to go to lunch first then come back. The driver took us to a restaurant. Didn’t give us an option of what or anything. Already seems like a tourist trap. Walked us in and everyone knew him they sat us down. Opened the menu and the waitress came up and began talking and was trying to force us to buy a meal that cost 20,000 yen. That would only feed 2 people. We had 5. Mind you the driver was complaining that his rent costs 20,000 yen a MONTH. While he is forcing us to eat a restaurant that costs that per person almost. The food wasn’t good. The service wasn’t good. Just after we got our food the driver came in and said time to go next spot we need to head back to the city at 2pm. Found out the restaurant only accepts cash. We had about 20,000 yen total on us. He talked to us about this “speed boat ride” and then we talked more about it and told him no thank you we just want to go to the lakeside park. He didn’t answer. On the ride over we asked about the itinerary and if we would get to the rest of it like the ice cave. Or the lakeside park. He said oh no the 5 stop itinerary is too much would take 3 days and that he makes his own itinerary. I didn’t book this trip with a 5 stop itinerary to go on this guys own itinerary. Then to be taken to places and be ripped off where this guy is probably getting extra money for taking us there. The driver then proceeded to take us to the speed boat ride when we said we didn’t want to go. Which also was cash only as well. Again why we feel the driver is getting money from these places by taking us there. We confronted him about how we didn’t want to come here and we wanted to go to a park next to the lakeside with a view like the itinerary stated. He said oh no the park is too far and we said ok well we aren’t going on the speed boat ride. The driver got mad. He took us around the block to a park with a view of the mountain but the lake wasn’t part of the view. He then drove us back to our hotel. Where he pleaded if we didn’t give him a 5 star review he would loose his job. In an honest fair opinion. That is low. Long story short don’t book through this booking. It could’ve been the driver. Or the itinerary is setting the expectation higher than what is achievable. If 8 doesn’t work don’t have it as an option. If the 5 stops are not achievable don’t have all 5 on the itinerary. I was super disappointed in the trip. The driver just added to the dissatisfaction.

Attary was our driver. Showed up 30min late and did not arrive at our hotel. We had to walk 10 min to get picked up. Was not a tour and received no info about stops. Then was pressured to give a 5 star review before leaving the area to go back to the hotel. Messaged the company about the late arrival and got no response. Would not recommend

Unforgettable experience. Def worth the drive both ways. The mountain is beyond this world, the speed boat ride and ice cave are amazing. Overall - must do. Sani made it nice and swift.

My guide, Attary, created the best day of my 10 days in Japan. He was friendly, informative, and capable. We went to several locations (Chureito Pagoda, Oshino-Hakkai, Shirairo Falls, Lake Kawaguchi) from which I was able to get great pictures of Mount Fuji, as well as experiencing local culture and opportunities to learn about the history of Japan and the immediate area.

Attary was attentive and always opening doors. I had a family member in a wheelchair and he always helped carry it in and out of the van. We did the Mt Fuji trip and we were taken to many famous sites. When I asked if we could see the waterfall he didn’t hesitate and took us there. He may be quiet but that doesn’t he won’t talk to you or answer your questions. All in all we had a great day!

We had a wonderful Mount Fuji tour today with Atarri. We were a group of four and really enjoyed the experience. He explained everything very well, was very polite and friendly, and also clicked beautiful pictures for us. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

In short, I do not recommend this tour. Despite many glowing reviews about "amazing" and "informative" guides, this was a driver only, not a guide. They told us nothing about any of the sites or stops on the trip, and they spoke only in broken, heavily accented English. This included no information on the day's plan, lacking basic details like lunch arrangements or restroom locations. The tour stops were underwhelming. The historic village was empty: no informative villagers to interact with, no compelling shops, no interaction at all. The ice "caves" was essentially one cave with some backlit ice; the whole event was under 3 minutes, including time for pictures. The historic lake (with no guide explaining its significance) was just like any other lake. Lunch was reasonable but unremarkable, and everyone in our party agreed we wasted a day of our vacation. The driver was late to pick us up, even though the tour company insisted he had already been there waiting for us for 30 minutes. They offered to extend the tour by an hour due to the delay and their handling of the matter, but our entire party agreed that having an hour less would have been preferable.

Ali took us on a trip through Mt Fuji and was an absolutely awesome tour guide. He has a very good understanding of the various places to see and the specific photo spots. As a first time visitor, he was the perfect guide.

Fantastic experience, Sana from Milkyway Travel was an excellent guide, he took us in his people carrier to Mishima Sky Walk to view Mount Fuji, then took us off the beaten track to many wonderful locations, we went to the Fushimi Inari Taisha Temple, then he took us to the cable car for a ride to Owakudani to see the hot sulphur springs followed by a visit to the Bath House at Tenseie Hakone, where we dipped our feet in the hot water spa pool. He drove us all around for 1 day, was an excellent tour guide and would recommend him to everyone

The driver is very nice with good attitude, while, the car can be updated to the latest version or lower level can be more acceptable.
