Itinerary
Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba stands on the western shores of Lake Saiko, called “the most beautiful village in Japan.” There were about 20 thatched-roof houses in the kabuto-zukuri (samurai helmet-shaped roof) style, with dahlias, mountain lilies, yarrow, and other lovely flowers blooming along the roadsides. The village which is said to have already been in existence in the time of the Takeda clan and was destroyed by a landslide during a typhoon in 1966. Forty years later the village's traditional thatched roofed houses were reconstructed and reopened as an open air museum and traditional craft village where people can learn about the culture and try out and purchase different local handicrafts.
The Chureito Pagoda, located in Arakurayama Sengen Park, is a must-see attraction. This park is renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views of Chureito Pagoda, Mt. Fuji, and Fujiyoshida City at the foot of the Mountain. To reach the Chureito Pagoda and the observation deck, visitors must climb 398 stairs. The view from the top is considered one of the best in Japan and is listed as one of the 21 must-visit places for photographers from around the world. While the cherry blossom season is ideal for capturing the iconic image of Mt. Fuji surrounded by cherry blossoms and the five-storied pagoda, the park offers stunning scenery throughout the year as the landscape changes with the seasons.
The shrine was built in 705 and has served as the guardian god of Arakura Village for over 1,300 years. It is a sacred place of worship where people seek protection against bad luck, promote harmony within their households, and pray for safe childbirth and successful child-rearing.
Oshino Hakkai is a village known for its eight clear spring water ponds, which are recognized as one of the "Top 100 Famous Waters of Japan." It is classified as a Natural Monument and is part of the Mount Fuji World Heritage Site. The eight ponds are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji. As the water filters down through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, it results in exceptionally clear spring water that the locals deeply value. Visitors can taste this magical spring water for free, feel its sweetness and purity, and experience the legend of longevity.
Lake Kawaguchi is the most popular of the Fuji Five Lakes, renowned for its stunning panoramic views of Mount Fuji from the shore. It has the longest shoreline among the Fuji Five Lakes. On a calm, clear day, you can see a perfect mirror image of Mount Fuji reflected in the water. In 2013, the lake was added to the World Heritage List as part of the Fujisan Cultural Site.
Oishi Park is a beautiful scenic area where you can enjoy a stunning view of flowers, Lake Kawaguchi, and the majestic Mt. Fuji all at once. The lakeside promenade features various flowers that bloom according to the season. On the west side of the park, the "350-meter-long Flowers Road" offers a vibrant display of colorful blooms throughout the year. At the end of Flowers Road, you'll find Kochia (summer cypress) that flourishes from summer to autumn, making it a popular photo spot. Throughout the year, the park showcases 90 different types of seasonal flowers, with various blooms visible at any given time. As you stroll along the promenade surrounded by flowers and gazing at Mt. Fuji, you'll feel a sense of tranquility.
On the second floor of the Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center, you will find a unique perspective where you can easily capture the magnificent picture of the red torii blending with Mount Fuji.

Excellent guide ! I loved so much the experience i did it a seconde time in June and November ! Thank you so muck Akimi 💕
Akimi was the sweetest, most amazing guide and made the whole experience feel like it ran super smoothly
This tour was amazing. We spent all day exploring beautiful sites. Leonard was an excellent tour guide— very caring, informative and kind. My partner and I enjoyed the tour and strongly recommend it!
Omar was an excellent communicator and guide ! super knowledgeable, friendly and instantly made us feel valued and relaxed. Thank you Omar for making this such a great experience
A well organized excursion. There was an incident during our trip to Fuji. At the last stop before our fi al destination a lady from our group was late to return. Our guide Gwen mentioned to all of us from the beginning and several time the importance of being back to the bus at the time she gave as for each stop. She would even send us a message with the time and made us repeat it verbally before wr go. She made clear that the would be a small tolerance on delaying since this was a shared tour and the schedule was tight. Anyway the lady was late, Gwen contact her via Watchup asked her where she was, asked her to stay put and went to get her. No luck though. Gwen come back alone and since we were late we left. She contacted the lady and told her that she will help her with arangments for getting g her back to the group. We could all see and feel her empathy and care for the lady. At our destination Gwen, after guiding us she made the appropriate arrangements and got the lady back with the group. I really apriciated her professionalism along with the kindness and empathy. I believe she is professional peoples person worthy of comentation.
Christy was an excellent guide, we had a wonderful time 😁
It was a great tour near mount Fuji. Due to bad weather conditions we were not able to see mount Fuji, but they did their best to make a great tour. The guide waited several times for missing participants to get all on board for the tour. She even tried to contact missing persons. But one time this did not help. She told the missing person to stay where she is and was going to get her, even when the time for meetup at the bus was overdue. But the missing person did not wait where she was. So the guide coudn't do anything but go ahead with the tour. In the end the guide managed to let her geht back to the group at the last tour point before returning to Tokyo. Beside that they tried to make the tour as pleasant as possible. She explained all we needed and wanted to know. She gave really good advices and suggestions for the tour. The way back to the bus was explained beforehand. Participants with missing umbrella could borrow one.
Very well organized tour!! We have been on various tours in other countries, this is one of the best organized day trips we have ever been on! Staff were great! Excellent driver, and entertaining tour guide, Gwen! We learned a lot about history and language along the way.
I had fun. Mount Fuji is great. The staff were great.
Leonard went above and beyond and made sure that he educated everyone on all the places we visited. He was a very good tour guide.
We had the best experience with Sandy, the organisation was top notch! When we came to the restaurant, the food was already waiting for us! He was also so happy to take our pictures and overall friendly and forthcoming! We had an amazing time! Thank you Sandy
We had a fantastic day exploring the Mount Fuji area, and Akimi made the experience even more special! She was incredibly friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic throughout the tour. Everything was well organised, and she made sure everyone felt comfortable and knew what to expect. What we particularly appreciated was her positive attitude and the way she shared interesting information about Japan and the places we visited. She created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, which made the whole day a pleasure. The scenery was beautiful, and we came away with wonderful memories of our trip to Mount Fuji. A big thank you to Akimi for a memorable day! We would definitely recommend this tour, especially with her as your guide.
Our guide Sandy was kind and caring to make sure everything goes smoothly. He was responsive and patient to everybody’s question. No issues finding the pickup location. It is well worth the money. We were lucky to get some clear shots of Mount Fuji.
Thank You so much, it was a wonderful day and Sandy was a super guide to us, we felt well informed, very safe experience for a mother with teenager. A lot of fun and thank You so much for the pic sharing! I would do it again!
Such a nice and gentlemen Sandy is, he is quite helpful and passionate about his job is, well done mate.
Leonard is amazing; Very informative and professional
My family and I were looking forward to visiting Mount Fuji, but we were a little worried about transportation and how to get to the best spots to see it. We searched for several Mount Fuji tours and decided to book this one. The price was excellent, and our guide, Gwen, was such a sweet and friendly person who spoke English very well, which was a big plus for us as foreigners. The meeting points were easy to find, and the bus was very punctual, which made everything smooth and stress-free. During the bus rides, Gwen shared interesting facts and fun stories about the area and made jokes that kept everyone engaged, creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the trip. We visited the main spots to see Mount Fuji, and we had enough time at each location to take photos, grab a bite to eat, and use the restroom without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! Gwen was an amazing guide, and we highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit Mount Fuji!
Our guide, Denis, did a fantastic job! We felt welcomed from the very start, and he set a positive, encouraging tone throughout the day. He’s a true natural. The tour included several stops and gave us plenty of time to browse, explore, and learn about Japanese culture and traditions. I’d highly recommend it as a relaxing day escape to the countryside. Even on a rainy day, the autumn colours were incredibly vivid. Try to go on a clear day for a chance to see Mt. Fuji - she was a little shy behind the clouds on our rainy visit.
The tour was wonderful. Good organized and the weather was sonny and visibility quote good. Our guide akimi was very nice and charming. She made the trip perfect. She gave us information during the ride. All was communicated clearly. The meeting times and a lot of additional information including photos was sent as messages to our mobile. The daily schedule was good to visit the sights. Akimi guided us to the entrance and the visit of the sight was done on our own.
It was a unique experience to discover different nice places around Mont Fujii. My favorite place was the lake with flower garden. Our guide Eric was very nice taking care of us and giving good explanations. I appreciated we have time enough on each place we have visited. Unfortunately the top of Mont Fujii was hiden by clouds, but we can see the bottom.
No views of Mount Fuji due to weather but lovely day nonetheless
Theere are a lot of activities in a day. It is a good option for a trip and an authentic image of rural Japan.
Great experience! Recommended!
We did a Mount Fuji tour and really liked it. It was convenient, we hit all landmarks we wanted to see, did not feel rushed and had a great guide. We spent the day with Akimi and she is so full of energy and funny, making jokes while telling great stories about the places we see and visit. Would definitely recommend!
What a marvelous day thanks to Sandy ! It was perfect !
Great experience! Great tour guide.
Sandy our tour guide is really a nice person .. he speaks good english and good communication skills .. would recommend
We had a great time! It was a really good tour especially for the money you pay. I loved all the stops - very lovely and lots of cute souvenirs to buy. Millie was very nice! We all loved her. She was quick to respond to questions and gave us a lot of good info about the stops. She was also very specific about meeting times and areas, and even gave location links so we could find our way back. My only gripe was I wish it were longer, but that is an unavoidable logistics issue for all Mt Fuji tours.
Had an amazing time during this sight seeing tour of Mount Fuji. Our guide Leonard Leong was absolutely amazing! He had amazing energy and really made the entire trip special. He went above and beyond answering questions, taking photos for everyone and giving us an in depth history of Mount Fuji and the surrounding parks. Would definitely book again with him!
This was a brilliant tour. Pin (our guide) was funny and informative. We went to 5 different places and each time we had just enough time to see everything. Very well planned with lunch included.
This tour was absolutely fantastic! Such a good pace and so many great locations that I think would be difficult to do alone. Our tour guide Sandy was hilarious and did a great job directing our attention to the best views and foods. He also doubled as a couples photographer!
A truly unique day trip with a nice, knowledgeable guide, Sandy! We were very lucky to have a clear view of Mount Fuji, and we manage to enjoy all the different stops along the way, thanks to Sandy's tips ( the ice cream flavor he recommended at Oishi Park was phenomenal!). Highly recommended
Responsible, friendly, very good
Well organized tour, very friendly driver and Omar was great. We got lucky and had a clear view of Mt Fuji the whole trip. Highly recommend!
My husband and I enjoyed our day tour to Mount Fuji. Meeting ace was easy to find and our tour guide, Sandy, was great and very informative. Highly recommended
Sandy was a nice tour guide ,thank you so much
Augustin was a wonderful guide. He kept us entertained and gave great information on the Fuji San area. It was a long day but truly worthwhile. The Japanese countryside is so beautiful and Fuji San was out and in top form.
It was good, I would prefer to go first to Arakurayama Sengen spot
Amazing Mount Fuji tour! Perfect weather, stunning views, and Augustine was a fantastic guide. Highly recommended!
Augustin was very funny and a great picture taker.
It was a cool experience. We were lucky to go on a day Mount Fuji was visible. Saw many scenic places.
The guide was super fun and informative and we enjoyed every single detail!!
Denis is very driven individual his passion for Japenese culture is evident in the tour. Very knowledgeable and kept us all informed at every stage of the tour. Also prioritised our timely return whilst ensuring we saw all the destinations in the tour. Thanks Denis .
Great day out. Crammed a huge amount in. Almost too much! But effectively a great taster of a few places I would definitely visit again at more leisure. Gwen our guide was excellent. Well informed and fun with an infectious and knowledgeable enthusiasm. Highly recommended!
Fantastic day trip - particularly Guide-Gwen, very informative with a great touch of humour. She was very knowledgeable of each venue, even providing us with Japanese common phrases to learn without the day. We didn’t get to see Mt Fuji in all her glory, but it was still worth the visit to all the historical places. Thank you Gwen & Mr Bus Driver :-)
It was a long day. A couple sites were very crowded. The weather may impact visibility of Mt. Fuji. It was visible in the morning for us, then not much for the remainder of the day.
We had an amazing trip to Mount Fuji! 🗻🇯🇵 Our tour guide, Omar, was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He showed us beautiful places and shared interesting facts. Everything was well organized, and we felt very comfortable throughout the tour. We had a fantastic day and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Japan. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It was an excellent Fuji tour and the outstanding guide Omar made it more enjoyable and interesting. Thanks Omar. You were super...
We are traveling with a 9, 5 and 1 year old. This trip got us out of the city to see the countryside. Our guide Omar was fantastic as he was so accommodating and great with the kids. We were usually the last ones to get back on the bus and we made sure that we always felt that there was no rush while also keeping everyone on schedule. Of all the countries we’ve been through on tours, Omar is one of the best. We saw plenty of worthwhile sites and enjoyed the hikes along the way.
