There were three of us who took the 4 hour bullet train as instructed from Tokyo to Hiroshima. The Hiroshima station was very busy. We were supposed to meet our guide at bus berth nine. They left without us because we were less than five minutes late finding them. They did not communicate that they were leaving. I tried to meet up with them at the first stop by taxi but they refused to provide the name on the bus. They had NO CONCERN and NO CONSIDERATION FOR THE FACT THAT WE TRAVELED 4 Hours and paid $500 for this tour that we were unable to take. All I got was a round trip train ticket out of it and the knowledge to expect disappointment when booking through Viator. I had taken two other tours previously through Viator and they were lovely. After this, I would certainly not recommend.

The trip was wonderful and very informative. Angeles was a great tour guide. My only complaint is that the instructions for leaving the train terminal to get to bus are lacking in their explanation. It needs to be clearer as to how you get from the train to the bus. Several guests had trouble finding where the bus was located. Otherwise, the tour was really great.
We took the bullet train from Tokyo to Hiroshima and back. Our train left at 6:00 am and we did not return until 11:00 pm. Entirely too long for a day trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided a great tour. We were just too exhausted to enjoy the tour. The entire day poured down rain so many of the walking tours could have been limited providing more time inside where it was dry.
Very intense but absolutely well worth the trip. The bullet train was great. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We are very satisfied with the trip and the experience.
Cesar was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and spoke very good English, which was a plus in Japan.
The entire experience was well worth it. We caught the bullet train from Tokyo and connected with Ito and Cesar to begin the tour of Hiroshima. It was organized, enjoyable, and informative. I recommend this tour through Viator. They are the best!
The tour bus in Hiroshima left without me. I only had 14 minutes to make it from the train to the bus meeting point and the directions weren’t very good. I know I was close and I showed pictures of the meeting spot to several other tour guides and they didn’t recognize it. Nobody tried to reach me - they just left. Worse yet, they told me I had to get my own ticket back to Tokyo ($150) and they didn’t refund any of my money even after several requests.
An experience to do. Touching in many ways. Alex was a great guide. Nice and clear in explanations.
